Good on you girls for living your dream so many people never get to experience the things on there bucket list. Such a wonderful young couple living the dream with there two fur children. Well done keep up the great work please stay safe on your adventures.👱♀️👩🐱😸
We like the The Anchor Inn - one winter evening, whilst out cruising for the week, visited the pub and sat down infront of a cosy real fire - we nearly all fell asleep in their comfy armchairs until younger members insisted we return to the boat for bedtime!! Happy memories😊
Watched quite a number of your vlogs love the cats doing their thing...going to a pub w/ my favorite experienced narrow boaters... JOY>...tasty pudding and a lager....??? I must stop by Cozy little pub. I can stretch like Alice.... and thanks for the drink.... I'll be back.....
Wonderful vlog as always, ladies. Please know that this viewer is always happy with simply being allowed a glimpse into your world on the canals. I especially love seeing Alice and Munchie enjoying life with you on the boat. There is too much drama in the world these days...the serenity and obvious joy you two share with your viewers is such a gift! Never underestimate the value of what you bring to the world thru your vlogs...it is pure magic and the world is in great need of it. Well done both of you! 💖
That appeared to be a very nice pub you visited! What a lovely way to spend some time watching the day roll by. Watching Alice walk the gunwale reminded me that you use to have a chalkboard to keep score of "canal dips" by the various boat "crew" :)
Thanks to your vlogs I have become a part owner of a narrow boat, I am finding just doing it up is so far removed from my day to day job I’m loving it. I am also not suffering from stress anymore. Thank you ladies x
Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane for this oldish bird..... ha ha. Years ago 1978 I had my wedding reception at the Anchor Pub across the road from St Paul's church in 'Coven' as in witches who love their feline familiars. The marriage lasted all of two years! Good to see you two looking after yourselves and those lovely felines. Thanks for the memory. You will probably be near Autherley Junction then into the suburbs of Wolverhampton. Take care happy cruising, regarding canal side refreshments Compton is within reach of a couple of pubs a short walk away the Mermaid is quite nice across the busy Bridgenorth Road. Jayne Anne and familiars Amy and Ginger xxxx
No stress boating.... seems I get that here.... love the vlogs...and the company.... should hire a boat and follow you stead...only worries is being to mellow.
Nice pub The Anchor. Only been in once, and that was when I was passing by car! But noted it as a stopping point next time passing by boat :) One of my favourite pubs is The Folly at Napton :)
Wonderful! I look at the Pub meal prices, and it reminds me why I always make myself a Picnic, with cheese and pickle sandwiches, cake, and a bottle of fizzy pop whenever I go for a trip on my Motorcycle! ...😉....😉....! You can tell, I don't like spending money!...LOL.😄..! Take care, both. A lovely video!.....😊....😊...!
It is wet and cold here in New Zealand. Watching you both has just made my day. My husband gets jealous when I watch you both, he can't talk to me until you last seconds of your video. Arohanui from Zane (me) and hubby Dean...
We used to moor at Hatherton Marina and would go to that pub most weekends... until one of our dogs had a dicky tummy and had a situation on the floor in there. I can understand why some pubs don’t allow dogs in them! Yes, agreed, they do great food and puddings 👍
Omgoodness, girls! Thank you so much for sharing your visit to the pub! REALLY enjoyed it, and felt very homesick! All love and best wishes, Claire and the girls, Berlin 😘😘😘✌
So many giggles makes me think more than “one” none coffee liquid was drunk... and rightly so. Those cats are characters and own that boat... you just get to live on it and pay for it as a agreement to look after them. Cats are like that.... they all are I know we have 2 too. Amacf
A lovely vid complete with cat cuddles, thank you! Your happiness is infectious 😊I really like The Globe on The Grand Union canal near Leighton Buzzard x
That was nice! I would have picked the comfy looking captains chairs in the corner! The creme brûlée looked divine! I hope you stop in at some more places and give us some more ideas about where to spend a pleasant day! Thank you!
So jealous. I went passed there in late May, admittedly on a Sunday, very busy, it looked well looked after, never mind, one I had to miss. Drowned my sorrows later with a glass of wine with my dinner. Lovely vlog ladies, choice of music, so on the ball. Makes drinking a cuppa on Sunday morning taste that much sweeter. Carry on vixens, you make Sundays start so well. Hope all's well aboard LD. x
I'm curious about something I've seen on several narrowboats and that's the round or oval, colored metal plaques people seem to display near the engine room. Sometimes there's quite a number and sometimes just a handful. What the heck are they?? As always, enjoyed your video--very relaxing! It was fun to see the cats walking down the towpath--where were they when you were having your pudding?
Those cats are so spoiled. Thanks for the trip to the pub it was fun and very enjoyable. Have fun and enjoy your time together as time passes so quickly.
Hi Ladies: I watched this just before lunchtime here in Ontario, and the dessert (pudding to you Brits) made me ravenøus. Off to eat. Well done. Hugs to the critters. John, Ontario, Canada.
Only been subscribed for a short while but have to say your both so much more confident on camera than your early video's, nice choice of music for this episode.
Walked that stretch a few times searching for sloes. Were ringing for a wedding at Shareshill yesterday not too far away. If you are still in the area and fancy a go at bell ringing, Bloxwich or Pelsall Church on a Monday eve.
I've been watching your vlogs for a little bit now. Love them ❤ Well done & informative. I thought the cats 🐱 were going to the pub with you? Take care from Illinois, USA 🤗
I found your channel at the start of the summer holiday and have been binge watching them all! I absolutely love them and now I'm back at work and feeling stressed, they're my go-to to switch off and feel happy so thank you so much!
Having started from Gailey quite a few times I've never got a mooring close enough to that pub! Ah well nice to see inside for once and the orange Viking boats brings back great memories. Thanks.
Only ever stopped at one pub on the S&W and guess which one.. Yep, you guessed it.. we moored up at those visitor moorings a couple of months ago and had a lovely meal in the anchor. Great vlog as usual, take care the pair of you.. Regards Steve
Love vintage inn pubs, for a chain the food is always amazing and the interior decor just makes you want to snuggle up in a corner and go to sleep next to the fire.
Escape To The Cut the ambiance of many is nice, but as a former assistant manager of one I wouldn't necessarily eat there. Not that there is anything wrong with the food per se, it's just that they try to give the impression of it all being homemade when in fact the vast majority is bought in from one supplier. When I was there the beef and ale pie filling came in bags, to be squeezed into a pastry lined dish on site. The bacon melt is a similar bag of mush, squeezed out onto a piece of toasted bread and topped with cheese. All the puddings were brought in and reheated in the microwave. The chicken was Brazilian I seem to remember, and the fish arrived frozen. Of course, things may have changed since, but in my experience chains cut even more corners and costs as time moves on so I wouldn't be surprised if the brought in stuff was even lower quality now. I would be very surprised if they use British meat for example.
Good afternoon girls! It gave me a huge smile to see your lovely happy faces! And to see the love you share with each other and the catto's! That pub looked awesome, and the puddings too! :-) I keep thinking of you working, so seeing you enjoy some down-time and relaxing was brilliant! :-) On the down side, some of those bridges with the sharp corners looked absolutely unforgiving! :-O But please keep the vlogs and those beautiful smiles coming! :-)
Love the Staff and Worcs. We hire from Autherley Junction then head for the Cross Keys at Penkridge, Clifford Arms at Great Haywood. Return journey is The Boat at Penkridge and The Anchor on our last night. We then have a short back to Autherley Junction to return the hire Boat. A perfect 4 night hire . 😋
I liked your choice Kath the chocolate and cider looked divine! Your kitty 🐱 friends are so cute! How about doing a VLOG that shows a typical day when your not cruising. What’s it like on the boat during a strong storm ⛈
Hello from Belgium, I appreciate very much your vlogs, your personalities nice and natural, and also your pretty cats (I have four at home) I subscribe at the moment
Great vid , how safe is your boat when go shopping or have to leave it for a few days?? Maybe you could show us what a English market looks like. Is that what all pubs look like ? I am live in America , in my mind a pub would be full of people with a drink, food lots of noise ,having a good time with friends.
Having missed you when I was moored up outside The Anchor last week I'm not sure on your location going down towards Stourport, maybe you are there or have moved onto The Severn, Stourport York Street Basin was my boats home mooring. Anyway, you may like The Black Star in Stourport... be sure to check out Worleys at The Swan too in the town on the High Street, regular live music on the Orange Stage.... The Navigation Inn at Greensforge Lock also a great place according to my dear friend who worked there for many years too. x
When you were talking about the boat hires, the closed captioning (here in the USA) wrote it as "ABC boat fire"! I don't have any problems understanding what you say, but I leave the CC on just for those fun mistakes! Great cruise!
Hello, great video and lovely pub. Could you please tell me more about the solar panel on your boat. Looks like a flexible one that can take the shape of the roof. Thanks.

Alice said thanks! ;-)

My favorite pub is The Bounty in Cockmarsh, Bourne End. It's only accessible by boat or footpath.
Nice to see you on the Old Mout again - my wife likes the berries and cherries flavour. Oh and we have a house full of cats too...
Nice to see you having my usual tipple when I go to the pub. Old Mout is brilliant.

Love to bit with Munchie trying to escape from the hatch. Looked like good pud too.
9:38 Anna quietly putting her arm around Kath while I loudly explode from the cuteness
Luv the kitties on deck. Do you ever "bump boats" like CC does?😆
Another fabulous vlog. Love the colours. You are both so informative. Good camera work. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Loved the vlog we are at present on the lochmaddy to Skye ferry with our cat on the way back to the mainland 😊

Always love a trip with you both xx The Anchor is a lovely pub we had dinner there, was very tasty.
Many thanks ladies for sharing such a lovely video, much appreciated.
OK, Alice, I gave you a thumbs up for your performance.
No wonder all the pubs in England are closing, fewer and fewer ordinary folk can afford to drink or eat in them. But I enjoy your vlogs.
We are with you, we really like The Anchor as well. The meals are excellent.
Hello, great video and lovely pub. Could you please tell me more about the solar panel on your boat. Looks like a flexible one that can take the shape of the roof. Thanks.
I have been to the Anchor when cruising the S&W. I can vouch that the meals are lovely.
Loved the pub visit girls. If you're ever near Stourbridge I'd absolutely buy you a drink
thanks for a very god programs
Looking lovely as usual, ladies 💕💕
The Navigation at Greensforge. Used to be my local when I lived in the Midlands.
Hello and thanks for the video.
