    People in Cambodia are friendly, they smile at you even they can’t speak your language 😊

      Thailand, Laos and Viet Nam also. A smile doesn't always mean someone likes you, but in general, the Khmer people are chill. Easy to get a long with and more tolerant of foreigners than some of the neighbors

      🙏🏻 a place in Phnom Penh called CC. The computer messed up our laptop and cost us around $400. We had to take it to another shop and it took nearly a month to get the part. So don't worry we are back!

      Thanks for supporting us! 🙏🏻 The name makes sense for me because I was a nightclub bouncer who didn't see any future for myself. Then I left America, and I started working as an English teacher. A few years later, I have my own consulting business. So I am like a new person with a new life. Reborn Abroad

      In your opinion, What are the top 3 best countries to purchase real estate? Where the resale value is good and appreciates in value? Thank you! @@rebornabroad

    Cambodia has come a long way since the civil war ended not very long ago in 1998. I lef the country back in 1979 and I've returned to visit the county every year for the last ten years since my retirement in the US. Life is short to do the things we don't love doing but life is very precious. Be mindful and be kind whenever possible. Sharing is caring. Greetings from a genocide survivor. Peace out🎉

      I couldn't agree more. I think it's only improving every time I return. I do hope to see healthcare improve. That's a big disadvantage still, but overall night and day improvements from 10 years ago. It's great to see the country developing

    Wear real shoes outside your room. Look where you step. Always take a Grab. Dont walk the street traffic. Excercise in a gym.

    thank you, very useful. Could you tell me where is the restaurant Monsoon house (that we see in your video) located ?

      @rebornabroad  8 месяцев назад +1

      I don't recall going to a place called Monsoon House. I think the clip from the video is down by riverside. One of the fancy hotels next to the royal Palace

    If you rent a condo, where would you keep your valuables such as your passport, cash, jewelry? Is there a security safe in the unit? When you check in at hotel, do you always have to show the actual passport or can you just show a photocopy or a digital copy on your phone? Also, do you need an onward flight ticket or can you just purchase a one way ticket from America?

    Top 4 reasons I left the USA after contemplating it for over 10 years.
    Broken economy. Cost of living is ridiculous.
    Hard-drug use everywhere & non stop Crime
    Dating scene completely destroyed by angry Feminism
    Last reason is the depression/stress/health-issues caused by the first 3 reasons.
    South East Asia has solved all my problems. I’m eating healthy fresh food. Lost 40 lbs. Ditched the Cholesterol meds. Money in my pocket. Dating a beautiful happy girl. I wake up with happiness and meaning in my life.

    Talk about crime, While I’m watching this video. 2 hours ago a woman got shot to death in SoCal Walmart. I think Cambodia is way more safer than the USA

      💯 buy depends on what you get involved with, obviously. Also compared to the neighbors, it's far more dangerous vs. Viet Nam or Thailand. It's probably the most dangerous country in the region outside of War zones, of course, but compared to the west its pretty safe with common sense and good life choices

    How about health care? How good are the hospitals there?

    • @rebornabroad
      @rebornabroad  8 месяцев назад

      You're better off getting a health insurance plan that can get you to Thailand or Vietnam. There are a few ok hospitals here, but anything serous your better in Thailand or Vietnam. Thailand over Vietnam.

    Not sure - WHY - you compare the prices to NY or California (?) - when it's much more like Mississippi W. Virginia or Arkansas ? -- A 2 br apartment in Lexington Ky is $800/mo. - not $2500 or $3500 like - OR worse - like maybe SF Miami or Seattle !!! 🤔

    • @rebornabroad
      @rebornabroad  Месяц назад

      No one cares about Kentucky or Mississippi. No one with money is in those places. I don't care about a bunch of inbreads. We are comparing the capital of the country, not some rural province in Cambodia. So comparing the capital to other large relevant cities makes sense. If I was talking about Kampong Cham, maybe I'd compare it to some backwater in the States. Maybe you care because you're from some fly over state, but no one else does.
