I think you are supposed to shoot Tungsten Vision film with a 85 color filter under daylight. But I do like the overall blue-ish color of that 500T. I wish I could get labs that develop ECN-2 here in Japan.
I shoot without it and the scanner noritsu ls-600 autocorrects the whitebalance and still leaves you room to do some changes, I might have to say that using this method can leave some artifacts in shadows like from greens, especially from grass and plants, you'll see some blue on the greens. But I like it!
AWESOME! I leave Berlin for two months and now your doing ECN2!!! Wish I could be there! Hello from San Jose CA! Keep up the awesome film loving efforts and keep making analog photographs!
Nice shots. But for everyone wanting to try it out, please don't use ECN-2 film on compact or non manual advance/winding cameras, contrary of as shown in this video. ECN-2 film is too thick and WILL break gears or winding motors eventually. So definitely a thing to consider
I've pulled looots of bulk loaded Vision3 with no problems. The money I save on shooting 250d over Portra 400 can easily buy me all new cameras IF that ever happens...
Really fun video, and great news that you're developing ECN2 in house now! I knew 500T was going to be cold outdoors, but I was surprised at how similar the looked under tungsten. I think I even preferred Ds rendering indoors.
yeah, i think it also is the way the scanners are interpreting the colors. we are scanning on noritsu and frontier which is always trying to give a "natural" look for C41 films. I guess if you were to do the full ECN2 proper develop and scan with cinema stuff there would be a much bigger difference.

Love this! I buyed the same camera two days ago and a Kodak vision3 500t roll. So happy to find this video to see the future results

I’ve never had that problem and I’ve shot hundreds of rolls.
Love the vibes of this video, the shots came out great! Really interesting comparison 👏

@@safelightberlin Makes sense, thanks.
the first cool photos 250D I've ever seen! what iso they shoot both?
Thanks a lot ! We shot at 200iso for the 250D and 400 for the 500T
Muito bom. O 500t tem um tom mais frio. O 250d tem um tem mais quente e realça bem o vermelho.
When did kimi raikkonen become a film photographer?😅
Bwoah
U guys in Kotti?
We're located in Prenzlauer Berg !
500t is better for outdoors?
No 500t is tungsten balanced so it’s better for indoors and I just realize you probably figured it out by now consider this is 9 months late
Chris jaywalking on camera. hahaah
i think you should not shoot kodak vision on pns because the motor on this camera too weak to pull this film overtime it will break the motor
Too short. You hardly showed the images to compare ,even at 1/2 speed. A side-by side would have been nice.
Best wishes. . .
"Promo sm" 😓
