Dragon types dont make pokemon dragons, not everything needs to be a dragon
I don’t believe that Charizard should be fire/dragon because then it would lose its weakness to water and that would kinda defeat the purpose
The only way it would work is if Blastoise becomes part Rock and Ground, since those are the only Dragon/Fire weaknesses (Not counting Dragon for obvious reasons).
Its the same reason why Sceptile doesn't become permanent Dragon, it would lose the primary weakness for Fire, meaning Blaziken cannot be part Fighting type either and it needs to be either part Bug, Ice, Poison, Flying (Not mentioned Fairy cuz it didn't exist at the time).
Its also the reason why we will never see part Dragon type starters. For Grass, part Dragon might work, if Fire is part of the above typings. Permanent Fire/Dragon and Water/Dragon is hella problematic. Water/Dragon is only weak to Dragon and Fairy and Fire/Dragon is only weak to Ground/Rock/Dragon.
I concur that Charizard shouldn't be dragon, however in gen 4 we actually do see Empoleon who's steel type actually causes it to lose it's grass weakness. So this is something Game Freak has already done.
But what about empoleon
@@scyche Which means Torterra was forced to become Ground type.
Thats the thing, Steel isn't as OP as Dragon in terms of weaknesses, since with Steel, the Grass type can also be part Fighting.
Like, the problem with the reptile argument is that the Crocodillians aren't in the Dragon Egg group. Thats also why Scraggy line being in this egg group is odd, since you make the argument it learns Dragon moves, then why isn't Krookodile on there for example (Who also learns Dragon moves and is a reptile).
Ampharos should be in the Dragon Egg Group as well, due to its Mega.
I love you you all glossed over Aerodactyl (Its literally in the name where its based on).
Volcanion can also be part Dragon
I mean, if Onix should be a Dragon type, so should Orthworm.
Yeah thats a great idea, make every reptilian/serpentine design a dragon type, that will be really interesting. Le epic dragon type!!! Im sure that the type will still be unique when a bunch of regular pokemon have it.
Imagine if these guys designed a pokemon game, the dragon type would be lamer than the normal type.
Arbok for it fits more the dark type and charizard would have been unbalenced as a dragon since it would resist even more grass and take neutral damage from water, and dragon used to like a mythical type few had it
Centascortch Bug / Dragon
Milotic should be water/dragon
Water fairy imo
@@danviferahr1426 it’s in the dragon egg group, is serpentine in design and learns more dragon moves than fairy
@domenicavallone28 if they gave it fairy type in gen 6, it'd get a better fairy move, learning more moves of one type doesn't indicate typing and serpents don't need to be dragon type. The egg group barely says anything about the pokemons type.
Y’all 3 might be the most delusional Pokémon RUclipsrs I’ve seen in this platform 💀🤦🏽♂️ I lost my mind when they said lickitung should be dragon
Yea they went WAY overboard with picking Pokémon that could be Dragon Type.
These are some awful takes bro.... like genuinely yall are reaching with every word you say
