He was routinely benched for dogshit vets. Sengun had it just as bad, if not worse. Not a shock at all that as soon as these vets got traded off/benched the rookies started popping off.
He had 30 points in his 3rd game vs the Lakers. I think his leg injury made it difficult for him to be consistent. He had a lot to learn too. Jalen has gotten somewhat stronger as well.

Green is explosive and shifty with handles like Ja, but I don’t think he’s anywhere near the playmaker or overall player that Ja is right now. Jalen Green is way ahead of rookie Bradley Beal as a shot creator tho so that’s super impressive - Beal was still mostly catch and shoot for some years
