He has elite defensive traits. He got size and length for a perimeter defender and he has elite speed and quickness. In his prime I am pretty sure NOBODY would be able to get past him in 1 on 1 situation
@@YungPhilosopher To be fair, Jalen has been playing better of late. He was bad in the beginning of the season, hence the bad stats overall. But these kids are rookies, even Cunningham was terrible early in the season. The only consistent performers were Barnes and Mobley.

He's so explosive and quick because he's used to this physique -- when you're an SG scorer, dunker, has an insane running speed, you don't really need to bulk up so much because this can affect your playing style. Just look at Ja Morant, he's 6'3 and only 170 lbs. Jalen Green is 6'6 and currently 186 lbs but is so athletic and quick than Ja Morant.
It is natural for a 19 year old to fill into his man body by 26. LeBron at 19 was physically a different dude at 26. You can say the same for literally every single athlete. You get bigger and stronger. Nothing wrong with that.

Once Green gets stronger and somewhat bigger, he's going to become a very consistent offensive threat. He does need to tighten his handle against pressure, and learn to pass before the double team surrounds him. His defense is more than okay, but he needs to improve on this end too.
