    Personally I like to invest in lumpsum for ELSS because I can redeem the whole amount after locking period and reinvest the same in ELSS if required in this way after 3 or 4 years of investment I can roll the a fixed amount again and again with tax benefit.

      If you redeem after lock in period you will be paying the expense ratio charges and again reinvesting will reduce the compounding effect..
      Instead just leave it in elss until you need it

      @doctor next expense ratio is adjusted every month. Not during redemption. By doing this, you can save 10000 tax every year.

    Sir, what is the expense taken by the mutual fund company? How much money they charge as administrative expense during the first three years? What will be the actual value of my investment for that year that is being invested in the market?

      It depends upon the fund you choose 1.5% to 2.25% charges per annum on market value. That will be adjusted monthly.

    Expense Ratio is fixed when the date of investment is done or will it change as per date of deduction or withdrawal after 3 years? Can anyone clarify me..

      Expense ratio is an ongoing process. It will reduce when the AUM of the fund increases

    Thanks for ur info. In SIP If I start Jan 2022, I can close and take the amount on Dec 2025 or I need to wait till 2028 to take the amount paid on Dec 2025

      Keep it simple. Whatever you pay in Jan 2022 to dec 2022, you can withdraw in Dec 2025.

    Dear sir, i am viewing all your vlogs regarding mutual funds. Inspite of many clarification told by you also, i am unaware of how to invest. Kindly guide me because not to have loss on my side.
    1. I like to invest rs.10k per month on SIP. Which fund will be benefit for me, that should be tax free, high returns amd also for longer period of investment.
    2. For lumpsum amount say 25lcs means, which will be better.
    3. I want to invest in direct means how to approach and where to go so expense ratio will be low compared to regular. Kindly help me sir. Though its hard earned money.

    if I choose SIP for ELSS for 3 years lock in period and each month 1k,as all installments I paid will mature only after 3 years, how does the maturity amount works here? At the end of 3 years what amount I can get?

      Every installment you pay is locked for next 36months.. say if you paid for 10years, you can withdraw upto 7yrs paid with growth.

      Sir Lic is a government organization. Govt needs money to fund infrastructure and other reforms. So they are selling 3.5% of lic to public.

    Sir In your table, Investment date not mentioned whether it is on launch date or afterwards, after what period this profit had come. Also for comparison sake if this amount is invested in FD on the same date, for same period what is interest accused. There is a lack of clarity. If I am wrong correct me.

      End date I have mentioned. Start date is exactly 5yrs, 10yrs, 15yrs and 20yrs before end date.

May be you can put a video on LIC IPO, whether rates are okay, how many minimum and maximum a person can apply, will they get allotment for all requested qty, how customer LIC value policy holding vs IPO allotment, or can we wait for open market bidding after some time, retention period, exit period and load, how easy to sell in market.     Am investing in quant tax fund but that is direct fund there Expense ration is less than 1 percent... Both are same I think... Why should we go for regualrfund any big difference?

      If you can manage on your own, you can invest in direct. People who need support of an advisor can invest in regular.

      If the profit is lessthan 1Lakh, no tax

      If the profit is 1.5Lakhs. For the profit above 1LAKH, tax is 10%. So 5000 is the tax for a profit of 1.5Lakhs

      Sir you can invest in direct, If you can manage your portfolio on your own. not only logic but also emotions during recession. Many direct investors redeemed during march 2020 due to fear. But investors who invested through advisors didn't withdraw. Thats why I suggest to invest through an advisor in MF.

      1.1Lakh is enough under ELSS. Sip is convenient for many people. In longterm Sip and lumpsum doest make a differrence. At current situation you can do Lumpsum
