I've been a big fan since 1966 I was fourteen . Collected all his records .Seen Bob twice, Earls Court London and Hop farm Kent.😊
First time I got stoned was in a walk-up flat in the Haight, 1967. My friend put on the "Blonde on Blonde" LP... the ganja & "Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands" changed my life. Thanks, Bob.
I saw Bob Dylan do an outdoor concert with Van Morrison and Joni Mitchell. They all three came out for an encore and sang “my back pages”. It goes “ahh, but I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now…” it was a great concert. I’ve seen Bob Dylan a few other times, but that’s the concert that stands out in my mind. It was at the Gorge amphitheater in George, Washington. Around the time he did the MTV unplugged concert.
That sounds like an absolutely magical experience! Seeing Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, and Joni Mitchell share the stage for My Back Pages must have been unforgettable-what a legendary trio! The Gorge Amphitheater is such a stunning venue, and it’s incredible that this concert stands out among the other times you’ve seen Dylan. Moments like these remind us of the timeless power of music and how it stays with us through the years. Thank you for sharing this beautiful memory!
WOW! That must have been an amazing concert!! Love all three!
I have seen Bob live 7 times.. 3 times here in Canberra Australia 🇦🇺! Great every time, once with Tom Petty & mark Knopfler played guitar on knocking on heaven’s door
I was there, too.
@@celestialfortunesnot to mention the natural beauty of the Columbia river gorge.
New Haven, CT July 1966, I turned 16 and eligible to drive. Glued to my transistor radio, I was ecstatic when songs from Blonde on Blonde were being released and broadcast. Dylan was at the height of his folk rock persona and coming off his intense world tour. He was booked to play the Yale Bowl and I hustled to our music mecca downtown, Cutler Records, and bought a pair of tickets, FRONT ROW DEAD CENTER. The thrill of having those tickets lasted a week, but crashed when the radio announced on the 29th that Dylan's US tour was cancelled due to a severe motorcycle accident. In August 2010, 44 years after that major disappointment, I finally crossed paths and saw him perform in Boise.
I saw Bob Dylan at the Spectrum in Philadelphia PA in 1974. If I could have one thing on my bucket list before I leave this earth it would be to spend a day just hanging out with Bob...
i think i saw him on the same tour, did you see him with The Band? I saw him on the last date of the last tour with the Band at the Inglewood Forum , it was Valentines Day 1974, afternoon show. The last show with the Band was the evening show on 2/14/74.
At your concert, did the audience light matches and lighters when the lights went down for Bob's solo acoustic performance? that was amazing, moving and surprising, i was thinking of how long it had been since the other time i saw Bob, September 3, 1965, Hollywood Bowl., It was 8 1/2 years. The first concert of the tour was Forest Hills in NY, less than a week before. The Highway 61 Revisited album came out that week, a couple of days before the Hollywood Bowl concert. Even if i never saw him again, i would feel permanently happy, above and beyond all the hard things going on in life, i was 16 and in a foster home, on pro nation , and had just been in juvenile hall, for reasons i didn't even know. it's because of how the times were changing and it was freaking out the adults.
And then, in February 14, 1974, free of being oppressed because of my generation, i was told by my dylan crazy boyfriend that we were going to go see Dylan, he had millionaire cousins who used to give him concert tickets they came into possession of and that was the first one for us. It was the last date together for Dylan and the Band, it was sold out but we got to go. So that was the second time i saw him, 8 1/2 years after the first one at Hollywood Bowl. i still have the ticket stub from the Hollywood Bowl, it's orange.. Bob had taken a long break from touring and had a bunch of kids and living in Woodstock with Sara. no expectation of ever seeing a Dylan concert again, and then just like that, the 1974 concert tour happened, early 74.
Today I will say Bob has shown us all who we actually are in this lifetime and beyond it.
This is so profound and true. Thank you! This is also what Jesus did!
I’ve seen Dylan 5 times…first, in ‘74 w/The Band, second in ‘78 @Hec Ed Pavilion in Seattle, third at Paramount Theater in Seattle as he went Gospel, and fourth and fifth, both @The Gorge, first w/Van the Man and Joannie Mitchell, and the second time with Paul Simon….all different, all genius…the bard🙏
Really enjoyed your Jack Parsons video! This video is great too! Thank you ☺️

Bob Dylan the Prophet ✨
I've seen him twice in Columbus, Ohio. The first time was in 1980 when he had switched to a Christian type of music. Half the auditorium walked out. Needless to say, it didn't go over well. Bob soldiered on. He never did play any of the old favorites that night. All new stuff.
Best to Bob Dylan as he kicks off his tour on The Outlaw Music Festival 2025. See you in Chocolate Town Hershey, Penna. August 9th.
Yes I saw Bob Dylan perform in Modena Italy with Tom Petty and the heartbreakers and Roger Mc gueen in August 1987 .It was a great concert.

The mysterious source of Bob Dylan's genius? J-A-M-E-S D-A-M-I-A-N-O? Eleven Years...
IMHO ... the "god of this world" (Satan - 2 Corinthians 4:4) gave these amazing songs to Mr. Dylan in the hopes of extending his (Satan's) influence (Ezekiel 28:13) ... yet ... these songs have redounded as anthems for the restless masses who shall crash (as the waves of the sea) against the mountains (mighty kingdoms) of the corrupted world (Psalms 46: 2-3) thus (ultimately) destroying Satan's empire
