Great video. Camped here a few years ago made life long friends and memories. 10/10 would recommend. Also is right down the road from an incredible waterfall.

I live in Gauley Bridge, We welcome all who want to see our beauty, Enjoy your Camp, Also walk down to the bottom and cross the road and check out Cathedral Falls Along with the face in the rocks, We have everything you would need for a great stay in Almost Heaven West Virginia...

This IS NOT the only campground along the New River Gorge. There is a campsite called Glade Creek Campground in Beaver, WV 25813 BUT it is ALONG/ON the New River Gorge and very close to Glade Creek. Just google the camp name and anyone can confirm the location. Important info for those that want to know about other options along New River for camping.

If you was going to make a video of the campground, you should’ve stuck with the campground. You didn’t get permission from the owners to put the private properties across the river in this video and it isn’t appreciated. So you really need to edit that out and stick with it being about the campground.

@@letsgoseeit457 just call New River Campground n Cheryl will help you with a reservations. My family has been going here for 6 years now. It's a low keyed campground. We love the view by the water and have made plenty of friends. We always come back. Relaxing n a beautiful view. I'm sure there are other campgrounds on the water but we just seem to enjoy this place. Our Shepherds have always loved it too swimming kyaking we do it all. If your looking for a campground that has 100 ammentities this isn't for you. If your wanting serenity peaceful great fire works for July 4th n relaxation then here is your place.
I don't believe anyone lives in those houses full time. They look to be week end or short term residence. Only a fool would build a nice home and live in it full time along a river!
You’re probably right. I too wondered who would live in those types of homes.
