I've been in conversations with detectives where the last 7/8's of my side of the conversation was some combination of; " Asked and answered", "I'm exercising my 5th amendment right to remain silent.", and "I've asserted my 5th amendment right to remain silent and have an attorney present during questioning, why are you still asking me questions?" I've never been arrested or charged with anything worse than 7 mile/hour over the speed limit, which may be a class C misdemeanor in my state. Fine at the time was $57 + costs, could be pled and paid by postal mail. Don't. Talk. To. Police.
Thank you for the warning. Too many of us still believe in innocent until proven guilty. It's clown world out there right now. Know your civil rights and the right to remain silent and have counsel present are at the top !
Please continue to post content regularly like you do on TT; you’re my fave creator and I admire you as as a woman, as an attorney and as a human in general. Your content never fails to engage me! Keep up the great work in all your endeavors; I’ll be watching faithfully!
I have a buddy who’s troubled step-son was living in his RV for a short while. He and his wife decided to go on vacation to Arizona. They took the RV. He was pulled over by Arizona State troopers and asked if they could search his RV. Knowing he had nothing to hide he consented to a search. The police found a stolen gun that his step-son had hidden in the RV without my buddy’s knowledge. He was sentenced to 14 months in Arizona prison for possession of a stolen firearm. While in prison he was brutally beaten by a Mexican gang, ended up in ICU almost dying and had several months of rehabilitation learning to walk again. Moral of the story…. Always flex all your rights, always remain silent never consent to a search never answer questions without a lawyer present, etc.
This video isn't the first one to tell folks not to talk to police. Lawyers have been telling people for decades not to talk to police, innocent or guilty. Y do people not listen??!?
Probably because we have so much Copaganda in our media that people still believe that our system is built on the premise of Innocent until proven Guilty and they don't know that the police are allowed to straight up lie to you to get you to talk or confess or whatever. There's a channel called Skip Intro that has a while series on Copaganda and I think that series is at like 13 videos now. From law and order to blue bloods to Lucifer and Grimm, Copaganda is so pervasive it's wild.
It would be nice if the police was just interested in actual justice and you could just talk to them to help them do their job, but the reality is that if you talk to them without a good lawyer you are basically putting your life in their hands. And it is a lottery. Maybe the cop is a nice person who wants to do the right thing, or maybe they just want someone to charge. Sadly odds are in most cases it's the later. In any case, why risk it?
Welcome to RUclips! Your videos on another platform are fantastic and I'm looking forward to your videos here too. If I'm ever arrested in Florida you'll be my first call from jail
Well Said.Do NOT talk. Cops can turn things around. Then you're fucked!!! Do NOT TALK. Period. ✅ ✅ ✅ Please do a video for Teenage kids. Stand on YOUR rights especially for driving. 💥 They need this. Amen 😇😇😇
Hope this finds you well. You have an amazing day. Looking forward to your content. Current events with critical observations, keep watering the flowers 💐
@@ColortinizTo caveat off of your own thought here is an expungement can get thrown out and your record sealed with whatever you were charged with stuck on the record if the paperwork is incorrect in any way, or if the procedure is done out of the order it’s supposed to be processed. This happened to an old buddy of my BIL in Texas. My BIL is an attorney, but has zero experience in anything criminal as he specializes in real estate law only. His buddy begged him to do it, even though he was reluctant. In conclusion, this story is parable that good work isn’t cheap, and cheap work isn’t good. Because my BIL fuct up his paperwork, ended up getting dude’s record sealed, couldn’t get whatever it was removed, so he never got the job he was applying for, and now they don’t talk anymore. Always find an attorney who only specializes in whatever your individual problem might be, and accept that it will cost whatever it will cost, because the alternative becomes priceless once it’s out of reach for good.
Ok so WHAT exactly what business were they involved in that wasn't illegal, wasn't a crime, that still somehow got these guys in trouble, got one actually arrested??
Only watched cause shes really pretty once she said long story short i thought of southpark " I should have never went ziplining" episode. like this is just gonna go on and on ....lol
I still have not figured out why we have violence against our police, it's confusing , i mean the police are good guys right? There word was good as gold until body cams & cell phones arrived on scene. Now that there's a photog. on every corner the police word is crap. Silly me , I guess it's bad photography , nation wide.
Saw this about the OKC police who was recently charged for body slamming an old guy. "It is very disappointing to see a police officer face felony charges for actions taken in good faith while serving in the line of duty," Nelson said in a statement. "Sgt. Gibson followed his de-escalation training and protocol when assaulted."
I was arrested in Prescott Arizona in 2003 and charged with 5 counts of aggravated assault and 5 counts of assault with a weapon and I did absolutely nothing I didn't talk I couldn't afford an attorney so theu gave me a public attorney I told her I didn't nothing I touched no one I said nothing to no one yet 5 people accused me I fought it all 5 accusers never went to testify against me nor did they go to court because they were on probation and shouldn't have been out that late at night so the court still wanted to charge me with something and my public attorney convinced me to plead guilty for A misdemeanor disorderly conduct. I wish I didn't do it, but I am a mexican american kid, and all the accusers are white. The police are white, and the attorneys are white. Even if they did nothing, I was guilty to them. I was just there for a graduation of my friends cousin. I'm from California, we're I don't have a record every time I get my back ground check it comes up but at least I can own firearms and I was able to get a CCW but I still have my name on a computer.

Never talk to the Police, ever. Never. Period.
"Anything you say can and WILL be used against you in a court of law."
Best advice ever. It is astonishing to me how many people think they can reason with a tyrant.

They have the Right to remain Silent. Just don't have the Ability to do so.

Basic Gooddfellas advice. Never rat on your friends and always KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.
A line of questioning technique used by police will give a guilty confession even when innocent...
This cop was so trying to be intimidating 😅
And underestimate you 😊
And belittling you!
Ugh
Dont even say hello

You only have one expungement? I did not know that.
This is true, it's state level, so you could technically have 50, but only one per state.

They are only there to incriminate you.
They are broke and exploiting you.
