Popular Blondes by Jon Renau Compared: Shaded Praline vs. Malibu Blonde | Chiquel Wigs

12FS8- shaded Praline, and 12FS12- Malibu Blonde, are two very popular rooted blondes by Jon Renau. If you look at their color codes they are extremely similar! Thank you Amanda, for doing this review. I have a JR 12FS12 and I was considering purchasing a wig in Shaded Praline. I think the roots on my Malibu Blonde are already too dark, so I’m so glad to know that SP roots are darker!

oh now I see the difference. thanks Amanda for explaining these colors. I'd love to see a line up of neutral blondes. I find it difficult to know which blondes are leaning warm to cool to neutral as the blend can really make a difference.

I find that the straight styles from Jon Renau in Malibu blonde appear lighter than the curlier styles.

I love JR 12FS8 It's my go to.❤ I own toppers in 12FS12 as well, but prefer the rooting color of Shaded Praline.

As someone with pale bio hair, I find the lighter root looks a lot better on me. If you are a brunette and/or have dark eyebrows, I think the darker root can look better.
