Jason it has been a pleasure to watch you and your family grow and thrive throughout these years you have provided content to utube. What I would describe as an adventure that began as a quest for you all as ‘city slickers’ (lol) to take charge of your lives and your food production and document that journey to where you are today in this video, is an inspiration to everyone who not just survives cancer, but uses it as an opportunity to become better stewards of their lives. In addition to give back to all of us through your videos and workshops, to help us learn through your mistakes and triumphs as you found your way as a documentarian as well as a farmer… well it has just been a real pleasure. MANY blessings to you and Lorraine and family.

That gravity water collection system will develope some new ideas you have yet to think about...our dairy farm in Vermont had pockets of granite and shale that we used to raise the barn areas up with...our sugar bush was higher than the milk barn and hay barns and farmhouse.
When we would collect sap for boiling, we collected in a big galvanised tub, but today they lay gravity lines direct to the collection tub which feed the boiler...getting covered by sap and chading wasps away was always part of the process. Solar is good up to a point, when there is no sun. We also planted our garden near an older apple tree because the bees would use the apple blossoms and our veggie blossoms as a marker...we planted sunflowers outside along the one side of fence and groupings of gladiolas among the peas and cukes and squash...bees hit them all and the flower stalks were natural posts for the climbing vines...usually potatoes, carrots, beans, peppers then a large walking spce the the corn and pumpkins...

Way to time consuming to keep up with all the sites like Instagram, FB, etc. I love your videos but I rarely comment on them. I will try to do better with the comments if that actually helps you. You totally need support underneath the buckets. The weight of the water is what's causing the sagging. You may not want to do a shelf, but you need to suck it up and make one for each tractor to support the bucket.
