Wow - excellent job. I don't usually hear this piece on guitar. It sounds great and you did a great job with this. I'll look into purchasing the sheet music.
Thank you for this lovely piece of music. Your playing is full of feelings and expressive! I will now press the Repeat-Button and listen again with closed eyes.
Been waiting for the video since I've got the book, finally! : ) Thanks for making time and uploading the video Bridget! definitely helps with few of the tricky passage. Waiting for Piano Concerto no 21 Adante next : )))
Thank you! Glad you like it. My plan is to film more of the pieces from book 1, but some of them are so difficult they require hours of time to prepare! Let's see what I can manage 😁
Hi Bridget. Let me say that you are beautiful. You are smart. You are amazingly talented. I just wish that you would use your talent to play more hymns for God who gave you this wonderful gift. A few things I want to say about the guitar and learning songs. I can play any song without learning complicated Christopher Parkening arrangements that take forever to master. Classical guitarists are very selective, very picky, try to be perfectionist in almost every song. This is my opinion only. I reduce the complexity of songs arranged by Christopher Parkening, Rick Foster, Liona Boyd etc. Any intermediate guitar player can easily play my tabs. The guitar, like any instrument, is all about having fun. Agree? I am not trying to impress the classical guitar society. I am never going to play at the Christopher Parkening and Rick Foster level. I am 57 years old. It's too late for me to become the next Andres Segovia. However, to someone who is not a guitar player, I am Christopher Parkening and Rick Foster. Do you agree? I also play hymns. Hymns are easy to learn. I don't have to be Rick Foster to play hymns in the fingerstyle method. In fact, when people hear me play, they compare my music to that of any professional guitar player. As you know, people easily get impressed without realizing that they can do likewise with any instrument. You say? Guido

Genial.
beautiful! did you know that billy joel incorporated this piece into a song entitled "this night" and gave credit to beethoven?
Incredible 😍 may I know what is your guitar brand ? I want to buy something like that
Thank you. This guitar was made by Stephen Eden.
Beautiful!! I am now very tempted.... on a scale from 1 to 10, how would you rate the difficulty for an advanced- intermediate guitarist?
Ha! Maybe 6/10. But to play it all the way through flawlessly with well balanced voicing is difficult… for me anyway 😂
@@BridgetMermikides so that makes it a 10 for me...🤔
