Did this this past weekend but made my own USB and USB-C port plate - thanks for the idea! This helps less wires hanging around when I already have my ICOM radio faceplate mounted up there among other things- this was an awesome mod I wouldn’t have thought of without seeing your how-to! TY🙏👍

If you use the wiring inside can use that color under the hood?

You only have 4 switches available so if you use a line under the hood and in the car it’s all tied to that and will run both. 2 lines are built for low draw and the others high draw like winches and lights. So technically you could use a high draw for multiple things you just have to be okay with everything you put on it having power.

How many ports could you use to tap into the 12v cigarette outlet? I have one outlet and if its safe id like to put maybe 3 or 4 ports in my vehicle.

@@SilverSin well sir I am not an electrical engineer. But I will say this. Taping into the 12v for usb is probably not going to be an issue. If you’re trying to power something larger than a phone, I would say use the larger capacity auxiliary lines that are available instead of the cigarette line. Those will be located in the lower right of the passenger foot area side panel. There is one that is 12v and literally made for a straight connection and doesn’t require the use of an auxiliary button to make it live. Hope this helps.

Yes you can. Fuses just limit lines so if that line is gonna fry, the entire thing isn’t
