I just brought mine in for that problem they said it was my bad alignment due to bent controll arms from rough riding was throwing off the sensors so possibly just a alignment will fix them both it did for me
I have a 09 GMC Sierra I was making payments on it and I had to replace the motor the transmission not very happy but after I did that knock on wood I haven’t had any other problems
My truck is well used, 2012 gmc sierra .400000km 4.8L .floor 4x4, live in the rust belt. Truck shakes since I bought it, engine has been fine, it's pretty well bullet proof, 4 speed trans went out on me, windshield leaks , the radio led is glitches but if you hit it it comes back.has an issue with getting out of 4x4, if you put it in neutral on floor it comes out.the rad has cracked on me 2 times in the same spot, the blower fan for the heat has caught fire once and has burned the wires once more. The tail gate was rusted so the locks wouldn't latch. The box on both wheel wells doesn't exist anymore. The frame and underneath are holding up alright but I've seen 2 now same gen have no frame left. Overall pretty solid truck , other then the blower.
From 1st to 2nd gear my 07 Sierra is a little jerky, my 4wd is out and dealership wants 1k to fix it, apparently it’s some computer thing. I still love the truck there are so many aftermarket modifications you can add. I think a lot of modern trucks have their own can of worms
As the owner of a 2012 Sierra (with the 6.2L engine) for over a year now: -The top of the dashboard is cracked -I have had the "service 4wd" as well as a "service trailer brake system" message randomly pop up a handful of times -The only "vibrations" I have are if I try to very slowly increase speed, slowly easing the gas petal down. This causes a vibration sound similar to that of going over a rumble strip, but there is no palpable vibration, and it won't want to upshift or really give itself more power -The infotainment screen is glitchy whenever you press a button(I am no longer able to change the clock now) or whenever it is wet out
You forgot to mention the brake light switch under the break pedal will make the truck go limp mode and have a Christmas lights going on and turn off completely the truck
You forgot to mention the stabilalink and traction? Control crap.
Yea I’m about to buy one and those lights are both on the dash

@@davidgoldberg7709 ok bet i’ll check it out
@@davidgoldberg7709same for me, alignment fixed it
Mostlikely bad wheel bearing causing both lights to come on. I own one gmc 2012, I do the work.

Fuel pump also went out and had to drop gas tank, except gastank straps were rusted so bad couldn't get it off without a grinder.

Went to buy an 09 yesterday. Went to start it and fuel pump blew. Luckily didn’t make a deal yet.
This seems like a lot I wonder if the 2500 is any better
Frames are trash on these, but 14-16 takes the cake on frame rot
Number One issue is that this model generation rusts out at the rear fenders in short order

Great video!
