Great herb garden! After you scrimping and saving for years, I'm so glad to see you are getting all of the things you've wanted and needed for years. You and Mr Wayna certainly deserve it!!
What a lovely kitchen garden! So beautiful and Mr. Wayna is a prince for making that for you! Love and blessings for you and your beautiful family! 🦋🥰💕🙏👍🏻👍🏻
What a wonderful place to put a herb garden! Be careful in this heat, especially since you aren't use to these temps! It doesn't take long to get heat stroke!
Renea. If you ever get a chance to be sponsored by greenstalks, jump on it! They are so wonderful! It’s amazing how many plants you can get in a small area. I even planted marigolds in the bottom of mine to deter rabbits and groundhogs 😊. I’m also using Irish Spring soap to deter deer and groundhogs in my raised beds. So far so good! If only it worked on cabbage worms😢
🌞 Good Morning, Renea And Mr. John . I love your out door kitchen herb garden . Can't wait to see it again in a few weeks . Every thing will grown more . Both of you stay hydrated . And don't get over heated .😊
Hahahaha I'm in Mississippi. It's not 115 yet but it will be here soon enough. I think with the heat index it will be 100 today. I thank the good Lord for all the rain we had in March, April and May this year. I dread when the drought starts though because it's so very hot and humid. You keep yourself hydrated. I love your little grill garden!
Wow, she's a driver too. Wait.. SHE IS A DRIVER! Lots of success over there! Makes me feel like a seat polishing jerk! HA! No, no,♠ no, it's ok.. A spade is a spade. ♠
Lovely herb bed in just the right place. Even if you don’t use them for cooking the smells are gorgeous. I love tarragon with chicken in a cream sauce. Yum! Thanks for your video again.🪴🪴🪴😍
I am wondering exactly what are patio tomatoes...are they similar to grape tomatoes or more like a Roma? Love your videos.....so relaxing. Take care and God Bless you both
Speaking of humidity...I learned something new a few years back, and maybe if anyone is from Illinois, they could verify this or shoot it down..lol. I was in Illinois a few years back and spent a day sightseeing. It was in July so whew it was hot!!! Being from Oklahoma, I was used to humidity but I had never been this hot and sweaty in my life!!! Then I heard about something called "corn sweats"!! I guess all the corn fields add to the humidity or something? I guess it's a real thing. Crazy!!!
Rene that’s a GORGEOUS outdoor kitchen garden!! Some people plant herbs in teeny tiny containers and wonder why they don’t thrive and grow but you’ve got them in the perfect size containers! Lots of room for their roots to go down and push up lots of beautiful herbs and the more you use them especially with basil the more it grows because for every leaf you cut off two more will grow in its place! That’s why I always tell people don’t cut off the stems just cut off all the leaves and then for every leaf you have cut two more grow in its place! It’s quite interesting once you realize this is just how Basil plants grow. I don’t know if other herbs grow like that but I’ve seen basil do that for years! I can’t wait to see your herb garden in a couple more weeks! It will be jamming! 😂 God bless! And thank you Mr. Wayna for building such a beautiful herb garden for Ms. Rene! You two are a lovely couple together! Always enjoy seeing you both on the videos. ❤🥰🍁🇨🇦🍁🙏🏻
I noticed when Mr. Wayna drove in, it didn't take long for him to settle that Rooster and that Chicken. Haha😊 You know, I did not like Cilantro at first. Now, I like it and Mexican food or Salsa just needs it. I find the food kind of bland without it. Your Outdoor Kitchen Garden is truly beautiful Renae.
This herb garden looks beautiful renea and john..nice work..hope to c how u do ur spices for the winter..God bless and have a wonderful day and please b careful in this heat..up here in Ontario canada we r get 40-45 Celsius..my goodness just cooking here hot hot hot
I recently received a similar raised garden..and can’t wait to get started..no more bending down, and with your great idea of 8” pots inside, my fun has just begun.. I already have drip system irrigation ready to expand on..thank you
I live in the Bay Area across from San Francisco, yesterday we drove to Half Moon Bay and it was only 60 degrees and cloud cover. But it was so nice. Love your herb garden and hearing the chickens
Good morning Renee- - Love this high planter herb garden. Our resident woodchuck can't reach it :-). I might need to place a chicken wire hinged cover to also deter deer. Waist level is perfect! Your outdoor kitchen is also an idea for our side lawn, which is not level. A large level deck would a wonderful area for us. We are in the woods and still building.
I have herbs growing in pots and buckets on my front porch. Love growing them all...a friend of mine gave me a baby rose.ary plant years ago and now it stands at least 6 geet high. I just love it!!
The greate thing with herbs is fresh a little bit goes a long way. I have been dyhydrating basil, dill, parsley, thyme and rosemany since the beginning of June in NC. I bought my seeds from a memmonite store and plated early, lost everything and then went to pots on my front porch.
This is so fantastic! Would you be able to show us the planter in a video so I can see how it’s made. I’d love for my husband to build me one. Thank you.
The garden nursery ought to give you a big shout out and a discount cause you can sell it girlfriend I love the herb garden it's right up my alley this video nailed it for sure! You are amazing with gardening one of your many talents!! Thanks again and you have a blast in the rest of your day!!!c.a. friend
I used to but they are just squabbling over the nesting boxes, now if the roosters start carrying on then there is something wrong like a hawk or a dog. Then I will investigate for sure.
LOL Renea you sound like me when I plant!! I plant and sneeze, plant and sneeze, and just keep planting!! It looks beautiful!! I want your pizza oven!! So so jealous!!
Absolutely love this!! I have to make this for my deck by grill..😘!my free day without grandkids to work in the garden and wouldn't you know it..raining!😂😂
Love this idea. Also that it is waist high. I have a bad back and this would be wonderful! My little herb garden is off my deck under my crabapple tree. It does well and it is close to my kitchen.
That looks so nice. You did a great job Renee! I'm totally baffled how it is 86° and Mr wayno is wearing a long sleeve shirt, I would be a melted mess on the ground. I'm in New York and it's going to be 96 today with the heat index it should reach 106. I was out at 5:00 this morning doing all my water and weeding and chicken chores. I had a stroke two years ago and ever since I could not stand the heat. I used to love it, but not anymore anything over 85 and I'm toast. So I know exactly how you're feeling.
John has skin Lupus and the shirts are very cooling plus there is sun block in the shirts. So he is actually cooler than me. We get his shirts at sporting stores like Cabella's and Dunham's.
❤Hi , you look so cute pulling up in your Cadet. Your herbs look Beautiful. When you cook a steak on your flattop grill, throw a stem of that rosemary with some butter, Oh my, that taste so good. It's a party in your mouth.
I’m laughing at the rooster and chickens in the background! I love it! I love watching you plant your plants with such love .
Yeah that rooster is going ape Man! I let my friend whack mine.
How wonderful is this! God Bless your efforts.
Great herb garden! After you scrimping and saving for years, I'm so glad to see you are getting all of the things you've wanted and needed for years. You and Mr Wayna certainly deserve it!!
Absolutely. When you have a plan and stick to it. It’s worth the effort. Sincerely.
What a fabulous kitchen garden, I love it. I wish I had a man in my life to make me a garden bed. Listen to those chicken 😂🤣😂 I love them.

What size are the containers in your herb garden..it's beautiful
I believe they are 2.5 gallon containers
Bless you
It beautiful to look at but not to cleaver to plant next to your barbecue with the heat
We will move the grill back from the tale when we cook.
