Oh Renee. Beware! You put the straw down in the garden and you will have more rabbits. They will come and make nests and have little ones in the garden. They will destroy a lot. And, they will jump up in the raised bed! I have been over ran with them this year because of lack of cats. I have had to take to extreme measures to save my garden. ( They love green beans). Everything looks really good.
Well then, I had better choose a different cover for my beds.

Very nice…VERY NICE! Your farm market is just too cute. I hope people appreciate all you do because good neighbors are hard to come by. I LOVE seeing the chickens. They are my all time favorite farm animal, hands down. You are gonna be busy with food preservation if everything produces well and it’s looking like it will especially with all the rain we keep getting. Curious as to how you use your fennel. I understand it has a licorice taste, yes? It’s good to have memories of Mom scattered around your homestead. I remember her going shopping with you, she just tickled me with her slow and steady pace. Memories are sometimes what get us through those empty spaces in our life. Thanks John…you COULD get distracted a little more towards the chicken area if you so desire!!!:):):)
I have to tell you this,one evening ,my friend calls.She says hurry ,come help me,there's something in the house.Im about 4 miles from her.I jump in my car and rush over.There was 3 cop cars and the fire dept.about 7or more men.Now I'm 4ft 11in, and all of them are big people. Anyway to make a long story short,a bat had got in her house.Everybody is acting like this is a huge monster.I tell everyone, stop give me a jar with a lid. And hair spray.I sprayed it,took a broom and dustpan,and slid it in the jar .Took it out and let it loose.Now you have to picture all these people,running and screaming during all this,every time it moved. I said don't move.Funniest home video.To top it off,it was a baby.

Hello Renee and Mr Wayna love your gardens! Lots of hard work but worth it. Last year I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, so I added blueberry plants and Stevia to my garden. Hoping for an amazing crop this year.

Every year I put in a garden and every year I don't get much to grow but I have so much fun doing it and checking it every day that I don't even care although I have dreams of having a productive garden like yours. Yours look beautiful as it does every year. What a lovely memory of your neighbor, Janet. I have that exact windmill! The rod that the windmill part sticks onto sometimes comes loose when it is windy and it rotates like crazy. Just twist tighten it occasionally or have Mr. Wayna see if he can secure it better. It could be just my windmill that has that problem but I've had it go flying (literally LOL) when it's too windy. I would treasure that wheelbarrow. All the best.

Everything is growing so nice ! my garden is doing pretty good . I had to have a couple trees taken down to get enough sun because my yard is pretty shady … pansies are my favorite flowers ❤😊
I topped my onions off this past week. Left about 6” on the plant. That way it’ll put it’s energy into a larger bulb instead of the green😊

Sprinkle cinnamon in your garden where the rabbits eat they don’t like cinnamon and it doesn’t hurt them

Years ago I had an inground garden, my neibor and I had planted pretty.much the the same things, none of mine were chewed on by bunnies, but they got most of her stuff, lol, we talked on the phone about it, it was pretty funny. The rabbit used to lay under her front yard weeping willow, with it's back legs sprawled out behind him, very cute. She used to say the reason he didn't eat my garden is because he was full from eating all of hers, 😂❤ and had the nerve to sprawl out in her front yard.😂😂

I'm on my own journey, too. I have fibromyalgia and arthritis, so it makes walking hard, but I'm determined to do it, as well as making my own diet changes.
Thank you so much. I don't have fibromyalgia, but I do have psoriatic arthritis and that makes everything hard. But like you, I just keep right on keeping on.

Lilacs are my all time favorite flower! I had like 4 trees by our property line and the year we moved into our house the neighbor cut them down to the ground almost! They never bloomed again! He killed them all and it's the only time i yelled at my neighbor! We've been in our house 35 years and thats the only thing i don't have room to put any! I cried over that!

You need to get a metal watering can and plant flowers in it and put fairy lights coming out of the spout to make it look like water coming out at night. They make solar fairy lights so the automatically come on at night

Fennel is a great herb in salads ( all parts) as well as to season veggies and cold bean salad ( Greek style with tomato and herbs over the white beans) yum
I love an herb garden. Tarragon is nice. I like lemon balm and orange balm. Hard to find the orange balm.

Just put a cutting in water and in about 7 - 10 days you will have lots of roots and just plant it.

I use the fennel fronds for infused water- cucumber fennel is delicious- just strain the fronds out… cucumber mint is another good infused water… love your videos! Keep on growing ❤️✌️👍🪴
