I'm not going to lie, the moment you said to trim the exterior fat I clicked off. This is pulled pork man, your seasoning will stick to fat and it will render in and make delicious bark.. I've been cooking pork butts for over 10 years, I've never trimmed a single one of them and they have all turned out fantastic

CAUTION- Some of your viewers may not know the difference between pink (Himalayan, Sea, etc.) salt and PINK CURING SALT, PRAGUE POWDER OR CURING SALT.

@@PaffordHomestead I believe you missed the point. At the beginning of the video when the rub is assembled the narrator says "pink salt".
