I started making one for a pillow but then I heard at my church that a couple of people are having health issues so I had the idea to make 2 and turn them into a prayer shawl. I joined them with a 2.5 inch strip in the middle and added 2-5 inch strips on top and bottom. It came out good… thanks and I hope you don’t mind me using your pattern for this😊

I love it! I like the darker colors to show off the shape of the heart, but love them both. Also, thank you for the tips on lining them up. I never thought about using the stitch lines.

Hi, I just found your tutorial, thank you so much for sharing your free pattern. Started working on it tonight with fabric that I had bought a while back not knowing what I would use it for… God knew! 😊 I was wondering why you didn’t make the last bottom cross the same length as the other ones?
That's a great question! Originally I did, in the sketch I made, but then I felt like it was too pointy of a heart...as if it extended down a little too long for my taste. You can always adjust yours if the symmetry bothers you, though. Let me know what you end up choosing. Happy sewing to you!
