It sounds like my relationship with my bio mom but she lied about who my dad is and won't tell anyone and I can't ask her family because they don't even like me since I was born a girl ( im American in the Bible belt so sons are still favorites over daughters)
@@pikagirlgraham7233this happened to my grandma as well. I finally found out who her bio dad was when she was 65 through an ancestry dna test. I hope you find out sooner than she did ❤
I agree, I hope all of the siblings and the women become friends at some point. Dad is the villain in this story, everyone now is connected. This could be a positive story one day 😊
Charlotte, I want you to know my father is a very big fan of yours. He doesn't speak much English but knows you as "Karen Lady" and thinks your content is really funny! Thank you for being entertainment for the entire family! I hope you're having a great Sunday!
Regarding the unusual names, I knew an Asian dude in high school named Phuc Yu. For a year or so, anytime someone cursed out the Eff word, he’d look up and be like, “yeah bro? You need me?” Covered a few asses with teachers that way. Good dude. Great attitude.
Honestly, no BS ...Knew a guy who's last name was Panke (pronounced "panky"). His dad wanted to name him Henry, after HIS Dad, until someone told him that could make his name, you guessed it ... Hanky Panke! His name's Alex, for which he's grateful.
The first story- I give the mom props for not telling her kids about her dad’s infidelity. She was trying to allow them to have a relationship with him and allow them to find out and make up their minds when they were older.
My aunt did the same thing with her ex… when my cousin was a teenager she stopped talking to her ‘dad’ and realised what an absolutely horrible person he was and that her mom had sacrificed so much for her… they’re both doing amazing without him
The narcissistic father was horrible & I have nothing but sympathy for those girls being cursed with a family like that. The thing that jumped out at me was the college professor outing herself as the woman who helped break up her parents' marriage. The kid's in college, trying to heal from the past & make a good life for herself & the prof brings this mess into it? If she's still teaching there, I would write a letter to the head of her department. Mess up that b****'s life. Also the first story: It's never okay to threaten someone with a gun unless that person is an immediate danger to you or your family's physical well-being. If anyone thinks violence and threats of violence are the solution to problems, I invite you to move to MAGA country. It's hell here.
When i was in college my bestie was dating this older guy. (The ended up married and happy and are still togther). He was not only noce to me, he regularly included me. I still remember the one Valentines Day that he took her and I out to dinner. He bought us both flowers and was just really sweet. There was nothing he wanted from me, just simply wanted to make his gf happy and she didn’t like that I had been planning to be alone that night. Seeing how men treat a womans friends is very telling
Agreed! My good friends bf did this with all her friends. He got a lot of respect from us. Even after they broke up. We couldn't hold anything against him knowing both of them...Since she, we knew. Was often the problem in any situation.( She was dramatic and High maintenance). I miss that guy.
Nah my friend, dudes get off on this. He was most definitely feeling like he was on top of the world taking two girls out. Women are so clueless sometimes. I feel kind of feel bad for yall
I met a guy and he said his name was Random. I didn't believe him. Bro pulled out his driver's license... sure enough! It was legit his first name. Brings a whole new meaning for me now when someone says they met this random dude... 😂
Re; picking named - The child that is named for his father's parole officer needs to realise that the parole officer obviously made a difference and this was done out of respect. My father (a parole officer) has been asked twice to be the best man at his ex-clients weddings - one of them was 15 yrs after finishing with that "client". He was both happy and humbled both times 💜
The first rule of being a step mother...you do not bad mouth the ex to their kid. Be gracious. I made sure my husband's ex always got a mother's day gift, cards for birthdays, etc. Take the high road.
Exactly! My step mom only started talking bad on my mom after she noticed that I was actively being neglected in that house, but she kept her mouth shut until then. She kept me sane through that hell. I've repaired my relationship with my bio mom, but my step mom will always be the person I turn to for mothering.
Agree! My own step mother just followed my father along in insulting my mother to hell and back, trying to convince me and my siblings that she was crazy. She didn't even know my mother. But when she did meet my mom, she was incredibly unnerved by how rational and kind my mother is, and she held off on her insults after that. That's what really made me realize how manipulative my dad was, how cheaters are in general.
13:59 a woman once told me “grown men and little boys try different tactics at treating you like you’re stupid”. I was too young to believe her. Constantly felt sorry for men and boys due to the pressure and loneliness they really do feel in this world. But that sympathy left me getting played in the dumbest ways. When I finally learned that actions speak louder than words I realized that yeah even the men that seem sweet will try to play you like you’re stupid. Call it out or don’t accept it. Either way, focus on your worth and don’t let anyone outside of you tell you what your worth is
My teenager is the most beautiful human I’ve ever seen. She thinks she’s fat, ugly, etc. I LONG for the day when she can look in the mirror and see what’s really there. And just as much as she’s beautiful, all of you are too!! You were made in the image of God exactly how He wanted you to be. I don’t know yall but I love you, please love yourself and be kind to yourself. Yeshua (Jesus 💜) loved you enough to die and give himself as sin so that we can live with Him forever when this short time on Earth is over 🥰
I feel you. I'm 39 now and I still struggle though it gets better year after year. Sometimes I want to time travel to hug the insecure and gorgeous girl I once was. Just to tell her that everything will be great in the end and to save her some tears.
Can we talk about what a great mom this girl has??... She obviously loves her kids more than she hates her ex who treated her horribly. We need more moms like this... First story
@@rmcc1526 I did it for years whenever someone came up with a stupid disgusting "joke" what I'm curious about is where in the menu did they mention the automatic gratuity, how much goes towards the waiter vs the restaurant and if the restaurant then expected them to further tip the waiter. cause I've seen bills where they add the free gratuity and then expect you to tip the waiter a further 10% to 20% on top of that
The guys in the story about the champagne flutes also clearly forgot the Spice Girls rule: “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends.” 🤣
As a dark skinned black man Seeing how other black men are extremely rude to dark skinned black women is appalling I actually prefer dark skinned black women I think her friends use her as the "Ugly duckling" which makes them worse Shes a very beautiful woman and im glad it didn't get to her
yea but if the friend is not paying interest, only deep down into her phone i would've tought she was just sitting there. I feel a bit like she did this to herself, how are you expecting freebees from someone who you are not even acknowledging. It's crazy because her friends were obviously having fun, so why be the party pooper and lock your eyes and brain into a phone. I also don't think it's a color theory, but a attitude problem but who knows, we're only hearing one side of the story. I think it's a bit much to not consider your own deeds but assume it's all because of skin color that the boys weren't paying attention to her. I can't wrap my head around that.
Exactly. When me and my husband first started dating like he literally was trying so hard to impress my friends. He would go out of his way to open doors for them or walk on the other side of the road next to them and offer his arm if they were stepping down in heels. One time we were drinking (and partaking in a smoke sesh) at my best friends house and we were going to be spending the night in the guest room. Well while we were in the living room my husband had smoked a little too much and got a little clumsy and spilled his RED drink on my best friends white carpet he was SO EMBARRASSED and felt so bad he immediately started cleaning it up but didn’t do a very good job cuz we were all smashed my friend was like it’s totally fine it’s just a carpet but my husband woke up at like 5 am hours before everyone and cleaned everything up it was immaculate ❤❤ like you couldn’t even tell anything had spilled i knew he was a Keeper from the moment I met him we’ve been together for 13 years now
What I hate even more are the guys who were taught not only to not ignore the less attractive friend, but to talk to her FIRST because she is the gatekeeper. I cannot tell you how many times guys started chatting with me in a bar and then asked me if my friend was single after 10 minutes of me thinking that someone was actually interested in ME for once. Ugh.
How horrible that must have been! I don't think I've ever been in that particular situation, but I can feel your pain. I did experience being the one ignored completely. My friend would introduce me to her male friends (not all at once, separate times) and almost every single one of them didn't even bother to look in my direction to say hi back to me. And my "friend" didn't do a damn thing. I more than a dozen times wanted to disappear, I was pretty shy. That happened when I was in high school back in the 80s. But anyway I totally agree and hate it too!
i had a guy i had a crush on for years start chatting me up in a bar and i was elated. about 5 minutes in, he looks at my friend and says, i know shes dumb as a box of rocks but i wanna fuck her. so i yelled "courtney, this guy thinks your dumb as a box of rockks but wants to fuck you, you think we can make that happen?" half the bar turned and looked at him with disgust and the other half cracked up. guy left calling me a bitch. i said, but im a smart bitch and smiled. everyone felt bad for courtney and bought us drinks for the rest of the night. court was hot and not dumb, just a little party girl minded
It's fine darling, those are the kind of men you wouldn't want to be close with anyway. It's their loss, and a lesson learned about their character to you.
The dad’s naming daughter’s thread was HILARIOUS!! Cliffany! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 also, the “my mom let him” is so real! My mom saved me from an old-world-Mexico name (I am Mexican, but still).
One of the rituals for children becoming “adults” (usually a tradition centered around puberty) in at least a few cultures is getting a new name. I sometimes think that should be a tradition in all cultures, except as teens can be pretty silly too, maybe it should be when you hit 18 or so and have to fill out applications for education or jobs and will probably be serious about what you want to put on the form. 😂
11:19 Shakespeare Christmas was a janitor for 14 years at Harvard, Esquire magazine 10/07/2013 article interviewed him at age 67. Shakespeare Christmas & his wife were moving to Castle Bruce in Dominica, they raised their 3 children to have high paying jobs and paid for their college educations and were then ready to retire from lives full of sacrifice. His dad had died in Dominica when Shakespeare Christmas was 16 years old, and yes the article states his father did indeed give him that name. He never got to go to college because when his father died, Shakespeare Christmas then had to raise his 9 younger siblings. It didn’t say what his father named those children, but we do learn one of Shakespeare daughters is named Nadia.
going no-contact with my bio father and stepmom was one of the ✨BEST✨ decisions i’ve ever made in my entire life. i no longer have to pretend like she didn’t lie to me and my family for years or act like she didn’t cause all the emotional/mental trauma and baggage me and my family have. OR that she almost killed my sister (when my sister lived with stepmom and my dad, she literally stopped giving her her liver medication, it started to fail. she did this on purpose) NEVER force yourself to have relationships with people who DO NOT BELONG or DESERVE to be in your life or your presence. don’t share your memories with people who don’t deserve to be a part of your happiness
@@wellactually. this was like 2012-ish, they basically held her hostage from us until my mom agreed to lower the child support. for more context, they lived 4 hours away, so it wasn’t easy to deal with. all we cared about was getting her home. when i originally found out what she did, i was too young to refuse visitation with my father so i had to go and pretend nothing happened and that i knew nothing
If the guys on the Bachelor party aren't making sure the groom doesn't cheat, do you really want any of them in your life? (I know I've told the long version of this before, but...) Hubby's bachelor party was in Vegas, at a club a couple girls end up hanging with them. The cute blonde and my husband disappeared. My husband's bestman PANICS. He is looking everywhere. The rest of the guys start searching. Security finally says they think they found him. Turns out they'd gone outside the club to talk because it was too loud and they were just sitting there with him gushing about how much he loves me and that she really needs to find a guy that wouldn't cheat on her like her ex did and that she deserves better. Been together 14 years come April 30th. Faithful and loyal and my best friend.
As a cashier at a truck stop I had a guy telling me all about how he worked for the CIA and all the “stuff” he did. The tall stern looking man behind him stepped up after he left and in disgust politely told me a real agent would never brag about his shit. He smiled and left. I honestly thought the first guy was lying.
My God 😂 the fact that men do this just shows how little they think of women and their intelligence! What CIA agent would go around telling someone they've met for a few minutes that shit 😂
Second guy likely had a law enforcement and/or military background, but really anyone from the US should know that CIA employees don't advertise it. However, weirdos definitely go around pretending to be CIA, FBI, etc. to try to impress women. Some of them get arrested.
In the same vein... I have an engineering degree in the state in which I live. Years ago I met a woman about my age in my now hometown and she told me her daughter graduated with an ISE (industrial & systems engineering) degree a few years earlier from that university. Then she told me she herself had earned an ISE degree from that university about 20 years earlier. But I had been at the same university at the time that the speaker allegedly graduated - and it was not ISE at that time, it was IEOR (industrial engineering & operations research). Lesson learned: bs'ing is a bad habit because there is a reasonable chance you'll BS to someone who knows more about the subject than you.
I was at my 20 year reunion and there was a former classmate that was telling my then 11 year old son how he was in the CIA and all these great stories about it. My son was so excited and told me about it, and the rest of us adults just shook our head because we had been hearing his stories for years lol😂
That model SHOULD HAVE BEEN NAMED! If everything the roommate said was true...and there were witnesses to prove it...she could absolutely not sue you for slander!!
the only one that comes to my mind that gotten that black dog that couldn't walk properly and they needed to give him back, she showes what she wears to different shows and events, got her hair messed up and got them cut real short
My friend’s mum told the nurses before she had birth “do not let him do anything with the birth certificate”. Apparently he had been calling her “Ziblet” while in the belly. And he was dead set on naming his daughter Ziblet. She has a very normal name now, but I still call her Zibs.
A friend of mine Jackie married another friend Robert (Bobby.) I guess it could be worse but they named their first daughter “Bobby.” Their second daughter was born in June so guess what they named her… *Store-Bought Pesto* _Ba-Dum Tisssssssssssssssssssssssssss!_ 😏
The experience of the woman being ignored is what it's like being the fat friend 99% if the time as well. The amount of times I've been treated like I'm part of the furniture is WILD. Genuinely has made me give up on men entirely ngl lol. And if they do talk to you, they throw you like 2 lines so your friend will see you're not being ignored. In just the most transparent ploy.
Yeah. I was the fat friend. But I was the fat friend with money and a raunchy sense of humor. I fit in with the boys. Which was good for me. Friends with benefits was and is good for me exactly because their stupid asses can't give what I have in relationships. So you never get back what you give anyhow. But, I got a male best friend since I was 14 that fills the space of a relationship. We have never gotten together. Thank God. But we pay bills together, bought a few cars together, pets together, and have been roommates for 32 years.
My boyfriend who always “games” when i watch your video has gotten so invested in these videos 😂 He will slowly stop his game, lean in and gasp with me 😂 We love your videos!!
I can GUARANTEE that the reason the high school girl followed Becky was to try and get her into her mlm scheme. Was totally setting things up to slide into her DMs woth a "hey hun!"
One of my old friends from my school time also wrote to me after many years to "offer me a job". Little did I know.... 😂 Never heard from her after I refused her amazing job offer 😂😂😂
I had a neighborhood resident who I would occasionally see but only to say hello in passing. I received an invitation at her house that she was hosting. I immediately suspected MLM and declined. A nearby neighbor apparently received the same invitation and attended. My neighbor told me that she thought it was going to be a get together like I had hosted years before for the women on our block as I knew everyone while others didn’t know each other. The other woman didn’t live on our block and my neighbor said that she only knew her in passing and found out it was an MLM scheme. She said she wished that she had spoken to me first as it was a waste of time and felt used. When someone who has never expressed an interest in you and invites you to something without a reason, it is a sign of an MLM event. Invites usually have a specific purpose such as birthday, holiday, wedding or baby shower or graduation.
The story from the woman who got treated so rudely at her birthday dinner made me so angry for her.I’m so glad she didn’t internalize that mistreatment as something bad about her. Also Charlotte you are so hilarious.
My mum passed away on the 6th of this month and I was having a hard day today... until I heard 'my flabbers are gasted ..😂😂😂' laughed so hard I peed a little and cried a lot. Thanks Charlotte. I needed this today.
I once lived in a dorm-style living situation while working at a summer camp and we hardly ever locked our rooms. My next-door-neighbor was a total klepto like the story about the VS roommate. Her worst offense was stealing the hand-picked box of See's candy my parents bought me for my birthday! This camp was in Yosemite National park, a good 1.5 hours from any major city and I couldn't just go get another box. At the end of the summer, her roommate let all my coworkers and I in to raid this girl's closet and get our stuff back! It was awesome. I kept waiting for her to ask us about the break-in, but she pretended like nothing happened.
@@kaihiroku8495 it's not that easy to tell these days. I doubt I'm the only one thinking she was a dude. There are so many feminine men out here now, it's not a wild thing to think
She is gorgeous and them guys over looking her were blind af like?? how do you go up to a table of women and just ignore a beautiful lady? Men really confuse me.
The Curtis and Cutrice put me out😂😂😂😂😂 10:41 Same with the whole TikTok of hers it reminded me of key and Peele the substitute skit. If you know you know, lol and I was actually a substitute teacher when that came out so that was fun and the only Caucasian teacher at school, but my students said I wasn’t white I was see-through because I was so pale and I asked everybody their names on the first day. They literally pulled some key and Peele on me and said ma’am we’re going to have to write down our names because there’s no way you’re gonna understand..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Here’s the real kicker, and this is on God, the only two students I ever had any disciplinary issues with were a set of twins, and their names were or are honesty and valor. These boys were so outrageous that the principal gave me their grandmother‘s number and when I started to call her , and you could hear her coming down the hall. I actually started to fear for those boys because her flip-flop was in hand. So unfortunately, the most troublesome students and most disrespectful students I ever had were named honor and valor unbelievable.😂😂😂😂😂😂
The model story…that was something my foster daughter did. She stole random small things and also saved her “feminine” items in a plastic bag in her closet. She was a victim of SA at 11 by her mom’s boyfriend, who chose to stay with him rather than getting her kids back. I think that the model might have been through childhood abuse.
I was looking for this comment. I have an adopted sibling with similar behaviors. Often trauma-related. I hope the girl in the story gets the help she needs I actually thought that was sad.
It did seem like a definite indicator of deeper problems. It would be great if the response on the video to this had been more about hoping she had people in her life to intervene and help, and less about finding her identity.
My other half has a master's in psychology and said this exact thing. She wasn't a kleptomaniac or a hoarder or a pill popper. She was most likely sexually abused, very insecure, scared of pills because they probably had something to do with her sexual abuse and just otherwise unhygienic with a lot of stress and expectations on her shoulders. I am also sad to hear this girl thought it appropriate to bag her out on social media, then have people laughing and acting grossed out. Why did no-one offer her help back then?.. She just comes across as super jealous and needed her 5 seconds in the sun.
That last story… she sounds like a nightmare but trash hoarding is a symptom of several disorders. When I was in college a girl in my dorm confided that she hoarded trash when her OCD was bad… she showed me her stash and it wasn’t anything as gross as the story above but yeah people think ocd is just compulsive cleaning but it can be the total opposite as well
My brother has OCD and stopped showering for a while because of bathroom germs before we worked out a time system for it. Somehow people always bring up that not showering because you're afraid of germs doesn't make sense, to which I point out, "If it made sense, it wouldn't be a disorder."
Thank you for that, because I have a hard time, (like actual uphill battle) trying to keep anything clean and picked up, and already know I'm on the spectrum with an OCD family member. This might help with my next therapist.
Watched the first story, paused the video, called my parents and told them I'm grateful for giving me a drama free childhood. Honestly, how some people fuck up their kids' lives is astonishing!
How was that ? Was it like Christmas everyday. The way I grew up was like living in a war zone and you’d think I’d be over exaggerating but nope not at all. I have so much trauma from my childhood, it’s hard to function as an adult most of the time.. Cherish that and give your children the same
I went to school with a set of twins whose last name was Cane. So their parents named them Candy and Sugar Cane. Oddly enough, they actually both fit their names perfectly. They also seemed very proud of their cute names.
im glad those kids liked their names; but im very glad my mom never did any "twinning" stuff with my sister and i. we hated it! because everyone was so weird about twins instead of seeing us for ourselves. glad to hear of a case of nominative determinism :)
The girl who was ignored is drop dead gorgeous in a bonnet with a hangover. What is wrong with people? I would never have let someone treat my friend like that. (It’s past tense because I’m married and don’t go out anymore lol)
I knew a 98 yo man about 25 years ago. So, he was born in the early 1900's. His name was Shirley. He told me that when his mother was pregnant that his parents were both so sure they were going to have a girl they named the baby before it was born. So they spent 9 months calling the baby Shirley. When he was born, they were so used to calling him Shirley that they didn't change his name to a more male name.
Actually, in the early 1900s, Shirley and Evelyn were established male names. Shirley could also be seen as a shortened, familial nickname for Sherlock. My father's given name was Jacky and while I was called that by family as I was growing up, I grew to hate being called that and only allow close family to call me that anymore because that is not my name. At least I wasn't born a girl, because my name would have been Jill, and with my last name, the teasing and bullying would have been unbearable.
The first story and the story where the girl got ignored is the reason why I lost faith in men (until my husband) and why we're raising our sons to be better. My dad bought my mom and her friends drinks because they had a rule where they don't go out alone with a guy (this was in the 80s too). He even drove hours to visit her when he was stationed far away and is still so loyal to this day. Far from the stereotypical military man. My standards came from this man and I'm proud that they both taught me how relationships should be.
I think it's fine to buy a drink for one girl and not all her friends. What's NOT OK is to buy drinks for everyone but ONE girl at the table, skin color aside. And also, that queen is absolutely gorgeous even without makeup.
This! Also I think it's ok to not get a person a drink if asked first. Or if you know the friend looked like she had enough to drink and just asked for water/soda or something else to help her sober up. I would've seen that as a green flag imo.
About that last one... Many many years ago, when I was growing up, my family had a neighbor that lived in the apartment complex opposite of ours. She was a renowned surgeon at the teaching hospital, really wealthy, accomplished and was liked by everyone! Late one evening, my parents were on the balcony having a smoke, when they saw the neighbor with a suitcase, hopping into a cab. They didn't think anything of it at the time, but some time later, they learned that she had been kicked out of the apartment and the night she left was the night before she would be forcefully removed. Why? Well, because she trashed it. Completely. There was garbage everywhere, smelly, mold, broken appliances, ripped wallpaper. The landlord had to restore the whole place from scratch. No one could have ever guessed by looking at her. She was always so well put together, dressed nicely, looked good and with an amazing job. You never know who the real slobs are.
it's also a mental condition hording can be a symptom of depression and there is also a pathology that makes you incapable of throwing anything away. only specialist can tell if it's a slob or a sick.
The lady giggling over the names that men gave their children - I LOVE HER ! She has a RUclips channel too, and her laughter is *everything* ! youtube.com/@christalluster?si=F-UTEJz456-HPI56
My freshman year of college, my roommates and I were talking. One had a friend named ORANGE. One had a friend named CYRCLE. As in Circle, but spelled with a Y to be cute. CYRCLE. We were laughing so hard, considering the possible siblings. Skware? Rektangle? Tryangle? Poleegon? Then, my brother, who was also there, pulled out the school directory, and we spent about an hour just going through the directory and laughing at people's names. Just for the record, in the late 60's and early 70's, it was REALLY POPULAR in Utah to give your children ABSOLUTELY STUPID NAMES. I thought the Ray Stevens song, "Ethylene, the Truck Stop Queen" was a joke. THERE WAS AN ETHYLENE AT MY COLLEGE!" Lik,e WHY would anyone name their precious child after a FUEL? I mean, at least make it Ethyleen. Or Etheleen. Fathers who name their daughters stupid names should be reported to CPS for child abuse.
‘This is not a good representation.’ Girl…you’re already drop dead gorgeous; if this is ‘not a good representation’, my head would probably implode when you are ‘properly representing’ yourself

@@dianaditommaso230 same. I don't think it did either. I think she set herself up because she already had it in her mind that would happen. She's a colorist too because she was talking about "light skinned behavior ". I didn't feel bad for her at all. I had a few friends like that. I was the "light skinned" one and they were always saying things about my character that wasn't true, just because I'm lighter. That's so stupid. I keep my distance from people with that toxic mentality. Their own insecurities will not allow us to be friends smh.
@@ItsMe-lq5nsNah, that’s not true and everyone knows it. You’re either in complete denial or you just spew yt supremacy propaganda. Is your pointy hood too tight? 🤷♀️
@@ItsMe-lq5ns It's literally an idea that light skin is considered more desirable than darker skin that is perpetuated in numerous cultures; mine included. It's often ingrained, and people aren't always aware of it consciously. She's not being "colorist" for pointing it out.
"Never believe anybody that likes to brag a lot, because they could have a suitcase full of poo napkins in their closet" is the WILDEST sentence I've heard. Not only that, but it was TRUE.
At a gay bar, a guy was trying to get at my friend… he was sooo nice to me too and our other (male) friend too. He asked all us to dance and me and my other friend started to slowly dance farther away to give them space. We knew he was not attracted to me or my other friend, but he was classy, we had some good laughs and chats.
The colorism video, she's so spot on. I was raised with extremely high self-esteem. So when I was like 15 and someone said something to the effect of "I can't believe X left Y for you. Your pretty but I mean she's light skinned, got good hair. I'm just surprised." NOTE before I get flamed: This was the first I heard of the break up. X and I were just friends. There wasn't some plot to "steal" her man but she was super jealous because we had a lot in common and I was "the pretty for a dark-skinned girl" who was always around. It was like 1999 when colorism was still SUPER verbal and blatant.
Why can I relate with the black girls in some ways because I am a light skinned Latina and have experienced horrible colorism for not having brown enough skin mainly experienced this from specifically Mexicans because other hispanics are well aware their fellow hispanics come in all shades. But their is something rotten with Mexicans who shit on others for not being brown enough and it's sad to see in fact it taught me to really love myself and to be super strong & never allow these idiots to get under my skin.. For clarification I am mixed with Mexican & Indigenous from my father's side which their all brown skin brown eyes black hair And Colombian from my mom's side which her side has people who are mainly either really fair complexion or complexion like my mom who has olive complexion ummm think Sophia Vergara that exact skin tone and only for in between have brown skin So these idiots who put me through colorism hell obviously don't understand how genetics works because I wound being born with my mom's side of the family skin complexion over my dad's side..
I feel your pain. From what I know from friends, Latinos, Indians, and Asians have the same issues. In Spanish it's "[something] la raza" yeah? The idea of breeding out the brown so the family is more Spaniard looking. It's insanity. Anyway, somehow we thrive though.@@mercedesvelasquez8781

And now he picks up random gifts for us when he see something he knows we like. He did a great job last year, i was recovering from my Bone marrow transplant and he went and got my besties Bday gift. It was so cute and thoughtful. He really is a 10/10!
See, I usually dislike it when housewives diss on working women, but in this case? Nah, you get burned when you play with fire, and Becky is a FIRE TORNADO WHOOOOO.
What gets me is the hypocrisy of high school. I was the "good girl" who chose to wait, and I was soooo picked on for it. But when another girl got pregnant, they blasted her too. I was always accused of being judgemental, but I ended up being a bridesmaid to that one girl (who got pregnant) because I came beside her and supported her during that difficult time. I am so glad that Becky is so happy 😁 I love it!
for the dad naming thing, I almost was named Marilyn.. my mom loved the Munsters and my bio dad... um.. Marilyn Manson. LUCKILY for me, my grandpa stepped in with a name that blew Marilyn out of the water. The month I was born there was apparently a high number of Northern Lights going on so I was named Aurora, thank you grandpa!!
Word! A few "differences" is my 4 yr old dad accidently shot my grandma with a shotgun left in dining rm table when he was cleaning it from a hunting trip. She lived but had bits of buck shot in her leg until the ay she died at 82. Another time, my grandpa threatened my mom with a 12 gauge (she deserved it and no charges were filed bc he would never ACTUALLY shoot her) when she was trying to take me away from my grandparents (the only loving consistent ppl in my kid life) bc she didnt want to PAY THEM child support. They didnt want the $. It was "child welfare" bc both my parents acted like spoiled brats.
5:33 that guy literally told the exact same story before, except it was about a lady showing up around closing time. He then goves that exact same story about his mom dying and how he was messed up. The party then shames the woman after a moment of awkward silence. It's almost worded the exact same way.
I did that once, to a karen man, yelling at me for no reason other than being the only person there (no gasoline because a strike was going on), except I was really on my way to burry my mother @@michelle-agathenormil I had my father and brother's costumes hanging + all the leaflets for the church in my car just behind me as the scene happened, it was surreal.

It's just so comforting to know the famous, beautiful people like Victoria Secrets models, can be absolutely bat-shit insane. Makes me feel better about my life
Honestly, their lives are probably awful. They have to work so hard to keep their body in perfect shape, they know their career has a time limit, people trash talk them all the time, and I hear the people they work for are horrible to them. I don't envy their lives.
This is kind of a weird comment. I guess you really don't know what those models go through...The woman clearly had severe mental health issues and it's pretty telling that something like that makes you feel better about yourself.
@@haute03 the moment this person stole someone else's medication, potentially life-saving medication, medication that could not be replaced unless a police report is filed and someone is found guilty, for no other reason then just to have it, was the moment all my empathy/sympathy/whatever disappeared
I also support Becky-with-the-fried-hair, because it is always wonderful to see someone doing better than their high school bully, whatever your definition of better happens to be. 💖
I took issue with the fact that she seemed to be dumping on women who work full-time jobs, but I think it was just this woman she had issues with & not women working in general.
About the fathers picking bad names for their kids, mine is the opposite. My dad saved me from being named Snow White. Here’s the story. I was born way back in January of 1971 during a snowstorm. My hippie (ish) Disney loving mom wanted to name me Snow White because of the storm. My dad talked her into naming me Wendy after her favorite Disney movie Peter Pan. I also love Disney but only name my pets after the characters 😂.
My fiance is such a gentleman to all my friends, it makes my heart swell with pride. Last month, when we realized that my bestie was doing nothing for her birthday, he asked me if we could take her and her sister out for a nice birthday dinner. I immediately said yes. We had such a great time. Cakes and Japanese food. He will not overindulge and like not be too chatty, but he will definitely make my friends feel valued. My bestie was so happy, which made me happy and that made him happy lol that gorgeous woman was just not with questionable men, but with some questionable friends too
The chick telling the VS story…….once I realized there was a black and white kitty cuddling on her shoulder, I was just focused on her shoulder and seeing if we would see more then a slice of the kitty! So cute that her kitty love momma so much and she was just mindlessly (as kitty mommas do) stroking the kitty as she talked.
Mr. Graves was my Professor ... He named his son Doug .... the baby was born while I was a Senior ... He laughed about it daily ... the day his wife brought the baby in to introduce us all to Doug she was stink eyeing Mr. Graves the entire time lol
My mom knew this ahead of time and didn't let my dad name any of us. He wanted to name us after star trek characters, which would've actually been sort of better then naming us after favorite dead characters from days of our lives 💀
The Victoria secret story has made me sick, realizing the foul smell was all that gross crap she kept.. And the fact that they have taken off and people are fans of her is just...ewww! *gags* Yes Charlotte, I wanna know too.
I think if you google who walked in the VS show in 2014 you can probably figure it out. I have heard similar stories about this person but I know nothing personally.
My husband did just that when we first met. He was/is such gentleman. He made sure he said hi to everyone at our table and then started chatting me up. It was very lovely.
The first story, she's not messy, her dad is. Everyone in her story was a victim of her dad.
It sounds like my relationship with my bio mom but she lied about who my dad is and won't tell anyone and I can't ask her family because they don't even like me since I was born a girl ( im American in the Bible belt so sons are still favorites over daughters)

Regarding the unusual names, I knew an Asian dude in high school named Phuc Yu. For a year or so, anytime someone cursed out the Eff word, he’d look up and be like, “yeah bro? You need me?” Covered a few asses with teachers that way. Good dude. Great attitude.
Knew a girl named Ima Butt
Honestly, no BS ...Knew a guy who's last name was Panke (pronounced "panky"). His dad wanted to name him Henry, after HIS Dad, until someone told him that could make his name, you guessed it ... Hanky Panke!
His name's Alex, for which he's grateful.
The first story- I give the mom props for not telling her kids about her dad’s infidelity. She was trying to allow them to have a relationship with him and allow them to find out and make up their minds when they were older.
She gave him a chance to at least pretend to be a good person, that he blew it was entirely on him.
And all he did was prove what a terrible person he is
Right?
That's a really big deal to sit on that secret so her kids don't think badly of him!!!!
She's a bigger person than I am that's for sure!
This is so precious!! I love this for you and your friend!!
Agreed! My good friends bf did this with all her friends. He got a lot of respect from us. Even after they broke up. We couldn't hold anything against him knowing both of them...Since she, we knew. Was often the problem in any situation.( She was dramatic and High maintenance).
I miss that guy.
That is so sweet!!! My hubby buys gifts for my single girl friends. He's sweet too.
Wtf where do these people exist?! Obviously not anywhere near me but like.. for real.
Nah my friend, dudes get off on this. He was most definitely feeling like he was on top of the world taking two girls out. Women are so clueless sometimes. I feel kind of feel bad for yall

This 1000 times over
This goes for the ex dont bad mouth your child’s stepmom
Me too ❤
13:59 a woman once told me “grown men and little boys try different tactics at treating you like you’re stupid”. Either way, focus on your worth and don’t let anyone outside of you tell you what your worth is
Love the girl who was ignored! She’s stunning! For her to be so confident at 27 is so great to hear! I’m 40 and still struggle with confidence
I'm almost 49 and don't have confidence at all.
It’s starts with being kind to ourselves. If we don’t love & appreciate our uniqueness, who will? Baby steps!
She's gorgeous
Can we talk about what a great mom this girl has??... She obviously loves her kids more than she hates her ex who treated her horribly. We need more moms like this... First story
The waiter pulling out the dead mom card was amazing.
I'm in awe. I can't even think that fast.

@@rmcc1526 I did it for years whenever someone came up with a stupid disgusting "joke"
what I'm curious about is where in the menu did they mention the automatic gratuity, how much goes towards the waiter vs the restaurant and if the restaurant then expected them to further tip the waiter. cause I've seen bills where they add the free gratuity and then expect you to tip the waiter a further 10% to 20% on top of that
Yep, stellar job good sir!
My dad is actually dead, so I get it. 🤷🏾♀️
The guys in the story about the champagne flutes also clearly forgot the Spice Girls rule: “If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends.” 🤣
As a dark skinned black man
Seeing how other black men are extremely rude to dark skinned black women is appalling
I actually prefer dark skinned black women
I think her friends use her as the "Ugly duckling" which makes them worse
Shes a very beautiful woman and im glad it didn't get to her
unfortunately that's only for girls that have class like the spice girls
This though
yea but if the friend is not paying interest, only deep down into her phone i would've tought she was just sitting there.
Ugh.
Yeah, that's effed up
How horrible that must have been!
She wasn’t the less attractive friend. She was the darker skinned friend.

The rest of the guys start searching. Security finally says they think they found him.
The tea was the second guy was real CIA but didn't tell you 😂
Second guy likely had a law enforcement and/or military background, but really anyone from the US should know that CIA employees don't advertise it.
The Curtis and Cutrice put me out😂😂😂😂😂 10:41
Same with the whole TikTok of hers it reminded me of key and Peele the substitute skit. If you know you know, lol and I was actually a substitute teacher when that came out so that was fun and the only Caucasian teacher at school, but my students said I wasn’t white I was see-through because I was so pale and I asked everybody their names on the first day. They literally pulled some key and Peele on me and said ma’am we’re going to have to write down our names because there’s no way you’re gonna understand..😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Here’s the real kicker, and this is on God, the only two students I ever had any disciplinary issues with were a set of twins, and their names were or are honesty and valor.
It is clear the model had mental issues and needed to take this up with a specialist. Hope she did.
But who is it bc 😅
That last story… she sounds like a nightmare but trash hoarding is a symptom of several disorders. When I was in college a girl in my dorm confided that she hoarded trash when her OCD was bad… she showed me her stash and it wasn’t anything as gross as the story above but yeah people think ocd is just compulsive cleaning but it can be the total opposite as well
I have OCD; you’re right, it’s not always compulsive cleaning.
Exactly. Howard Hughes is a heartbreaking example.
It made me think of someone hoarding anything with their DNA on it so witches wouldn’t be able to use it against them…
My brother has OCD and stopped showering for a while because of bathroom germs before we worked out a time system for it.
You had a drama free childhood? Impressive. What was that like?
@@Goofy4Goofysame ;___; how was that 😭
How was that ? Was it like Christmas everyday. The way I grew up was like living in a war zone and you’d think I’d be over exaggerating but nope not at all. I have so much trauma from my childhood, it’s hard to function as an adult most of the time.. Cherish that and give your children the same

2:45 great cutaway there. Excellent job
I went to school with a set of twins whose last name was Cane. So their parents named them Candy and Sugar Cane. Oddly enough, they actually both fit their names perfectly. They also seemed very proud of their cute names.
As a mom of twins, I love that 😂
Meanwhile, my partner went to school with a girl named "Crystal Neth"
im glad those kids liked their names; but im very glad my mom never did any "twinning" stuff with my sister and i. we hated it! because everyone was so weird about twins instead of seeing us for ourselves. glad to hear of a case of nominative determinism :)

Did they live in Santa Rosa in the 70’s or 80’s. Never met these twins Sugar & Candy Cane but they worked at my hospital. Can’t forget those names.

I have an uncle Karol and his son Karol jr.
I have uncle Leslie and uncle Tracy
@@Emeraldwitch30is your family from Europe? Cause this is an European (especially Germany and east of it) spelling of that name :)
That's so messed up 😂
4:35 the silence was so loud after she finished the story!!😂😂

The colorism video, she's so spot on. I was raised with extremely high self-esteem. So when I was like 15 and someone said something to the effect of "I can't believe X left Y for you. Your pretty but I mean she's light skinned, got good hair. I'm just surprised."
NOTE before I get flamed: This was the first I heard of the break up.
For clarification I am mixed with Mexican & Indigenous from my father's side which their all brown skin brown eyes black hair
And Colombian from my mom's side which her side has people who are mainly either really fair complexion or complexion like my mom who has olive complexion ummm think Sophia Vergara that exact skin tone and only for in between have brown skin
So these idiots who put me through colorism hell obviously don't understand how genetics works because I wound being born with my mom's side of the family skin complexion over my dad's side..
