I bought some pieces from your last auction and I was so appreciative of the prices I got them at 🥰 like you, I gave away my childhood sets as a teenager not realizing I’d miss them later, but here I am in my 30s trying to rebuild my childhood collection and still pay my mortgage 😅. Nice chill video! The church HAS to be a typo ahahha, maybe they meant 37,99 but I still wouldn't buy it for that price lol...as for the rest i just have to agree, i'd pay lucy locket 500$ tops, plus beside the keepsakes i don't have anything in boxes

I'm a vintage My Little Pony collector and we're seeing some of the same just bonkers pricing on Ebay. Not quite this bad, but there's for sure people just trying to turn a buck and thinking any 80s toys is automatically worth a mint.
We have the same feelings about most of these. I also don’t want to buy from anyone who is so agressive in their posting.
You know what would be extremely funny? Making an offer to buy it for like 1% of the asking price.

That last person is one of those people who think just because something is a little old and in the box, that means it's worth a lot of money. Spoiler alert: It's not. The only thing I saw on their page that was MAYBE worth the price was whatever that Integrity Toys/Jason Wu thing for $1900 was. Down of that stuff, especially if it's from a few years ago, DOES sell for a lot of money, but I have a feeling that theirs is still overpriced.

The people who put these up on eBay know there's a market for nostalgia and they're trying to capitalize on this by jacking up prices...
Just going to throw this out there, but this is kind of a common money laundering thing. List an item that’s in demand, but not exactly in demand, ask an obviously mind boggling sum for it. People looking for these niche items know better than to spend that much and keep scrolling. The people who are supposed to be “buying” the item do after it’s been listed for a bit. If a rando buys it the seller will just cancel the sale.
