Splendid upgrades on a well maintained Disco. I’ve had mine over 20 years (2003 model) and love it. I had my first accident in it recently due to ice on the road. Now, the rebuilding begins. First upgrade was an ARB front bumper. Now, you’ve given me some more ideas. My wife would say this is not a good thing. 😂 Thanks for a wonderful overview.
Hi Michael, HA 😂 I have the same wife as the more I look on social media the more ideas you can get and they all cost $$$ thanks for the comments and if you need any further details just let me know… always good to share information and good luck with the rebuild cheers Tony
Gorgeous build! Heavy! And gorgeous! Got a link to those amber aux lights? Nice repurposing of the headrest mounting points. Did you donanything with the third row audio control spot? Besides fit the compressor tank next to the passenger side?
Hi appreciate the feedback. I haven’t made any other changes with the third row. Tried not to do any substantial modifications so I could reverse things back to factory if I changed my mind at any stage. Here is the link so you can find the amber lights, cheers Tony www.stedi.com.au/led-work-lights/led-rock-lights.html
Hi Steven, appreciate the comments thanks mate. Apart from the odd minor oil leak here and there, I haven’t had any problems and I have 220,000km on the clock now. Thanks Tony
D2 is a fantastic vehicle. I had the same except for black bonnet. RRT fits so well on the roof..
Enjoy the ride and nature
Cheers
Thanks for the comments… they are a great ride the D2 and you can do so much with them 👍

Thanks Raymond much appreciated. Cheers Tony
Did you replace your four corner rain gutters? I’ve seen 3d files online.
All the rain gutters are original but I am curious about the 3d files? I will have to look into that…thanks
How’s the reliability on an old Disco?. One hears horror stories. Yours looks like an outstanding example of a cared for vehicle.😊
