There actually is an in between scene and an in between song that you missed! Act 2 starts off with Prom or Hell which I would recommend if you want to know how Veronica is feeling about all of this, and her and Jd talk about stuff. And then afterwards it’s the beginning of the funeral, and Paul starts by saying some things and speaking distastefully about Kurt and Ram and all the things he thought they were doing, and then the song starts
ALSO there is actually an animatic you can look up and record next time you do a heathers thing that includes both the in between song and scene! Just look up prom or hell heathers and it’s the only animatic there lol. Only if you want to of course :)
Also also there is a really good dead gay son animatic that is sadly unfinished and probably why your patrons never added it here, but if I were you I’d watch it afterwards! It’s really well done and a lot of fun
Also also also last thing, I notice that the video in your playlist goes right to the seventeen so just in case you haven’t recorded it yet, there is an in between scene before seventeen that missy only included a bit in her video so I’ll put the dialogue down here so you can read it if you’d like to get the full context, I think its important to JD's character and the whole show: Dead gay son ends, everyone else leaves the stage leaving only JD and Veronica JD: What is that? That smell in the air, is that... tolerance? Inclusion? Love? How often can you say it's a good day to live in Sherwood, Ohio? (Shouts to audience) You're welcome, town! Veronica: Hey... you don't have to be so smug about it. JD: Your love keeps me humble. JD kisses Veronica, but she pulls away. JD: So... who's next? Veronica glares at JD in disgust. JD: Heather Duke? She started that threeway rumor. I've been underlining meaningful passages in her copy of Moby Dick, if you know what I mean. Veronica: No! No, I do not accept this! We've already killed three people! This ends right here, right now! JD: Or what? Veronica: I'll... I'll break up with you. JD: Every war has casualties. That doesn't mean that it's not worth fighting. JD turns away from Veronica and walks across to the other side of the stage. He turns back to face her. JD: What, what, you'd rather go to jail, hm? And then give a free pass to the thugs who hurt people? Evil fucks that make life so unbearable that you can't stand to live in the world anymore! Veronica: JD? There is a long pause. V: How did your mother die? JD stops for a moment. JD: You really wanna know? V: Yeah. JD: My dad said it was an accident. But she knew what she was doing. She walked into that building two minutes before Dad blew it up. She waved at me out the window and then... kaboom. She left me. There is another pause. V: I'm really sorry. JD: It's okay. The pain gives me clarity. You and I are special, we have a lot of work to do. V: What work? JD: Making the world a decent place for people who are decent! Veronica walks up to JD. V: When does it end? JD: (Yelling) When every asshole is dead! Veronica pushes JD away from her Start of 17~
