heathers kinda died on me (not that i still don't like it like i'd die for heather chandler) so with dwindling interest comes lack of motivation to finish this

Every death caused by JD ended up making life better.for everyone else. Kurt and Ram: Less Homophobes, Heather C: People loving each other and themselves more
that’s JDs entire reasoning but the thing is that it didn’t make life better. it was glorifying suicide and only caring about those issues when people actually ‘killed themselves’. nothing was changing, just false positivity to make yourself look better during a moment of darkness. heather didn’t make people love themselves more, it made peoplefeel better to feel ‘empathetic’ towards heather chandler and glorify her as a god like person for a couple days before moving on. same with kurt and ram, it’s all tolerance and ‘look these boys did something brave’ yet if they were actually gay and still alive, it would be a completely different narrative. it’s trying to prove how glorified and normalised suicide can become. it becomes a trend, another everyday thing. it’s pointing out how people treat suicide like it’s revenge. people only care once your dead and even then they don’t really care. that’s the entire message heathers portrayed in a highly satirical way.

One good message (the same one from Matt Reeves Batman) is that punishing the evils only create more evil (Killing Heather C just made her be replaced for Heather D), but helping the good with hope is the best way to keep evil from growing.

MuggSmasher in the movies version of Heathers (1988), JD and Veronica staged a suicide pact for Kurt and Ram to imply that they were gay when they were not. Whereas in the musical, Kurt and Ram had visible proof of homosexual implication with how they acted with each other, so it might actually be true at least one of them leaned towards being gay.
