Honestly i somewhat agree with this list Here is mine 18- Classic Planet Wisp.. Like you said only thing thats really good about this stage is that its imo the prettiest level in the game.. also the music is pretty underrated 17- Classic Rooftop Run..Its okay.. but the end when you have to climb the clock tower is very frustrating and the level design revolves more around platforming and less on speed.. 16- Classic Crisis City.. It was hard to choose which was better compared with rooftop run but i give this one the edge cause the ending is while can be annoying sometimes with thw tornado i liked the goal post at the end completely jinxed you and it cracks me up everytime.. 15- Classic City Escape.. This stage is just meh tbh.. it has some fun moments but the truck can be very annoying imo and the remix of city escape is kinda ass.. but it was more enjoyable than the other classic levels i mentioned.. 14- Modern Planet wisp.. LOVED THE BEGINNING and the music is perfect.. very loud and chaotic which definitely fits this stage.. and its easily the prettiest modern stage.. but as soon as use the rocket wisp it just goes down hill and its very fustrating with the horrible platforming and how long the level is... 13- Modern City Escape.. Its decent buts its definitely a downgrade to SA2's city escape.. the 2D in the stage makes me want to pull my hair out and when you get to the truck in the end its basically just boost to win.. at that point i should just play forces but the skateboarding section goes hard and the remix while not as good as the original it definitely a bop! 12 Modern Crisis City- The beginning is very fun with the mix of platforming and speed together and the remix is probably the best in the game.. but the 2D section drags it down and can be very fustrating but it does pick it up again the quickstep section was a great way to end it off.. 11- Classic Seaside Hill.. This is where it got really difficult for me rank cause everything after this is basically perfect.. Classic Seaside Hill is really great on its level design and has good sense of platforming and its fun to explore and get on the top path for that extra speed.. the remix is really good but the end kinda just mid imo.. its not horrible but it kinda just ended on a sour note and its also a water level so it cant really get much higher than that.. 10- Classic Chemical Plant... Fun very fun stage.. i have really no complaints besides it being a little to short.. not much to say other than that.. 9- Classic Green Hill- this stage is basically the same as Classic Chemical Plant but i feel that this is better cause its a little more longer and the i love the branching paths you take.. upper path more quicker but challenging to stay up there and the lower path is slower and easier to get to... And its way more fun to perfect the stage imo 8- Modern Rooftop Run- imo everything about this stage is really fun and challenging.. the only thing that prevents it for going further is that its not as good as its original rooftop run from unleashed and the stage is just to short... Also the end is just boost and quickstep to win.. 7- Classic Sky Sanctuary this stage is legit perfect.. its WAY better than the original and looks way different.. the platforming and speed is nice but this one point where you use those platforming things from marble garden kinda lowers it a bit. But the ending where the tower is collapsing and your trying to escape is just perfect and i enjoyed it 6- Modern Chemical Plant- The level is amazing.. I love it and there alot of cool speedrun strats to take and it makes it very enjoyable and the 2D sections are pretty fun.. and the music is really good!! The only that lowers is down a bit is the water section but its doesnt really over stay its welcome.. 5- Modern Green Hill Zone.. Basically the same as Chemical plant.. its just perfect and i really have no problems with this stage.. the only thing that kinda lowers it is that its green hill and im kinda just exhausted of green hill but the level design is still REALLY GOOD... 4- Classic Speed Highway. This Stage imo is the best classic sonic stage i feel that people dont talk about this stage as much as it should thh.. everything about it just peefect.. the level design is great the music is amazing and the really makes you just wanna keep going.. 3- Modern Seaside hill I love this stage.. cause how OPEN THIS STAGE IS AND MUUUUUUUSIC OMGOSH I LOVE IT.. also the many paths you can take and that part in the beginning where you can skip a WHOLE 2D section was great and makes me wish that they had something like this in other stages. 2- Modern Sky Sanctuary.. Perfect literally just perfect.. the platforming, the speed, the 2D sections, the Music and the overall challenge... Literally there nothing to complain about and the ending is so coal and reminds me of the classics sky santuary ending but its in 3D which i find really cool.. 1- Modern Speed Highway.. Legit perfect.. i cant even describe it.. the music is the best the series has to offer and legit everything i said about modern sky sanctuary is just 10x more better.. only smallest complaint i have is they cut the at dawn day section from the original but it so definitely makes up for it being my all time favorite level in sonic generations. This took me 30 minutes i am warned out 😮💨
