@@ravissary79 it was deliberately cut. Likely because PragerU is very pro-Judaism, and we wouldnt wanna upset the Jews by proclaiming the absolute truth that Jesus Christ is the messiah and that salvation is only through him now would we.
@@agenttex5748 right, that's why it's an odd choice. Why show the Doxology at all then? I can understand focusing on what we have in common as prageru is dedicated to our common Judeo-christian values and American governmental heritage. There's nothing wrong with focusing on what we have in common for that goal, but then making it clear you believe in Jesus in addition to that. It does not compromise the gospel to operate in a civil manner with like minded conservatives in our democratic contributions to society. Do you feel compelled to yell out "Jesus is Lord" everyone you see a Jew? If they know you're a Christian I highly doubt they don't already know you think that. Maybe you think insisting on it all of the time will find ally convince them? Nope, persuasion doesn't work that way. You need to form relationships, or debate formally in an appropriate setting, maybe answer questions online, or give your testimony. But if you find you HAVE TO say it to them just because they're Jews with no mind to whether you're helping them, that might be a problem with you. We're called to make disciples of all nations, but this isn't accomplished by yelling at people or being unable to form alliances/relationships with them out if a need for them to approve or agree with you. That doesn't work, it breaks alliances unnecessarily and doesn't further the gospel. The PragerU alliance seems like a good one. Prageru seems to love his fellow Christian friends and respects their rights and traditions to preach the good news and encourage Christian moral values. Why double down on a Doxology no traditional non-messianic Jew can say? The Doxology is beautiful, rich in tradition and truth. But if it's divisive then why show it at all? Just show other parts. It's such an odd choice.

I love pragerus openneness to christianity. Dennis praeger is a cool guy. But many criticisms of Jewish overinfluence on modern christianity is relevant to bring up. We shouldnt let any group for any reason try to discolor our history.
@@BigMac4459 it's called JudeoChristian not because Jews had some huge influence, but instead because Christianity is the fulfillment of the Jewish faith. There is no Christianity without a Jewish base. The issue comes when Talmudic Judaism (which puts the declarations of the pharisees over the word of God, just like the popes) pretends it's the Judaism intended by the old testament.
@@oniryuuko but judeo-christian is an invented word. It's just Christian. We dont call it Judeo-Christo-Islam. Just Islam. Crusaders yelling Deus Vult weren't there for "Judeo-Christian" values, solely christian values. American jews want us to have these new Judeo-Christian values to be our MO. How about no? @ I mean, sure, this is only one source (called fivethirtyeight), but this source tells me that indeed, there are proportionally less atheists in prison compared to being in the general population (Much less. According to this source, it's 1/10 the percentage of atheists in the general population). However, as I said in my original comment, if you practiced and appreciated Judeo-Christian values, you wouldn't become far left. In addition to that, though, I would imagine that by not breaking any of the 10 commandments, among many other common sense rules (or what should be common sense), you probably wouldn't wind up in jail. People can be associated with a religion yet not practice it to a good enough extent, hence why they would be in jail, but your main point still stands that atheists are less likely to go to jail. Pretty interesting stuff I must say. Thanks for enlightening me :) But one thing I've noticed in your other comments is that you say religious people tend to simply shy away from logic and completely disregard sound arguments. Yet here I am :P Granted I'm not most people, but I do practice most laws in Judaism, like keeping Kosher, observing the Sabbath, etc., and I find meaning in it all. However, I also find meaning in obtaining knowledge in the universe and using that knowledge to both better myself and get a better perspective on things. But I agree, a lot of religious people tend to completely overestimate what faith does for them. Faith will not prevent you from all troubles or give you knowledge. It is simply a way to cope with bad experiences and to give hope for the future. But hey, those things are great, so I might as well have it at a healthy level, y'know? There are benefits to being religious. It gives me a general sense of purpose, and gives me a sense of self-worth. I think those are great things to have, and there really is something beautiful and poetic about the customs and traditions I partake in, so that is why I remain religious. But to each his own as they say

All public education needs to teach about God, civics, and ethics. What it means to be a patriot what the differences are of socialism, capitalism, and communism. So it's odd they should show it at all... and then chop it.
ravissary79 IRL, don’t say that
@@Hoodinator17 don't say what?
I hope Summit is around for another 15 yrs so my little ones can attend.
*After reading all the comments around here, I feel that I must say something:*
---- Some people around here are incorrect. BECAUSE: I follow this Channel since a long time and I've watched many PragerU videos, and along the times, in many of those videos, we can find unequivocal crystal-clear positive references to Christians and Christianity, and also on the BIBLE and its relevance for the Western society, in PragerU videos from Mr. Dennis himself, and from Will Witt, and from many others.
I never detected any sort of exclusion nor any sort of animosity towards the Christians, nor even trying to hide them.
I'm a Christian myself, (not just by "name", like many fakes who call themselves "Christians").
So, stop that sort of uniformed comments.
Some comments around here sound more like subversive trolling, from masked hostile beings pretending to be worried with Christians, when indeed they are anti-jews and use every chance to inject their poison.

I love pragerus openneness to christianity. Dennis praeger is a cool guy. But many criticisms of Jewish overinfluence on modern christianity is relevant to bring up. This country wasnt found on Judeo-Christian values. There was no Judeo in the founders. Only Protestant Christiand with British Western values.
In PragerU's mission statement they specifically say that they promote Judeo-Christian values
@@oniryuuko but judeo-christian is an invented word. It's just Christian. We dont call it Judeo-Christo-Islam. Just Islam. This is a unique relationship between the Jewish and the west, and it needs to quit. We can be tolerant of others with religions with having to bow to them. Crusaders yelling Deus Vult weren't there for "Judeo-Christian" values, solely christian values. American jews want us to have these new Judeo-Christian values to be our MO. How about no? Christian values and they can have judaic values- leave it at that.
Big Mac
Almost all of the writers of the New Testament were Jews.
The west’s concepts of morality are rooted in the Ten Commandments.
Islam has more in common with the pagan religions of the Babylonians and Chaldeans.
Christianity is simply pure unadulterated Judaism. Abraham is the father of our faith, not according to the flesh but of promise.
All these people in the comments saying how religion is bad and such, but if you practiced Judeo-Christian values as well as appreciated them, chances are you wouldn't wind up a far-leftist, so stop your complaining :P
@ can you link a source to this? Also, is your source based on what percent of inmates are religious? Because if so, compare it to the percent of non-inmates who are religious and I would be surprised if there's a substantial difference there
I think the main issue is income, not religion personally
@ Gosh darn it RUclips :/
Anyway, interesting stuff. In that case I will do some research. Should be interesting
@@ChordsBoy hehe good luck! You're opening up quite a can of worms though, reality is a bitch, and does not correspond to what most people think... :\ It may lead to other 'disappointing' discoveries. Things you might learned you wish you hadn't... Really like the red vs blue pill of the matrix.
Thanks for enlightening me :)
But one thing I've noticed in your other comments is that you say religious people tend to simply shy away from logic and completely disregard sound arguments. Yet here I am :P
Granted I'm not most people, but I do practice most laws in Judaism, like keeping Kosher, observing the Sabbath, etc., and I find meaning in it all.
There is no such thing as judeo Christian
I'm glad I had a great social studies/history/economics teacher in high school who taught us about communism, socialism, marxism, etc. Now it seems like if kids want to learn about this stuff they have to go search for it on the internet. Most kids are not going to go spend their time trying to learn about something they haven't even heard of before.
My two weeks at summit changed my life. It is an incredible experience and I highly suggest it for any high schooler. Such a fun time and many friends made for life there. I even had a buddy that met his wife there. Incredible stuff they’re doing there. “I hate mike adams”
I wish I could go listen to Jeff! Can you video his whole lecture!
Summit has a RUclips channel where they will upload lectures sometimes
Hope for our future!
I'm all for God centered leadership!
Excellent!! Thank You!!
Ok Will Witt waking up is the cutest thing
I love Manitou Springs, CO. The Manitou incline would have ended you though.... lol, I made it like 2/3rds of the way and tapped out. You can see it in the back ground of the shot (along with Pikes Peak) when you guys got to the top of the hike you went on. I'm definitely going to check out Summit Ministries now.
Manitou is Ojibwe for "the Great Creator" but there are no Ojibwe in Colorado.
Why was “praise Father, Sơn. and Holy Ghost” omitted from the hymn verse?
Was that hike Barr trail? There is a short cut called “The Incline”.
My Alaska Dream that hike is on red mountain. Barr trail is a hike up Pikes Peak. At 8:16 the grey mountain in the background is Pikes Peak a significantly longer hike is required to get to the top, or an hour long drive.
Here in CS -- yep, from his description of the "hike before the hike," I expected them to end up at the Incline, too!
No one in particular thanks for clearing that up. I normally just ran down Barr trail after going up the incline. It’s also been several years since I’ve been in Colorado.
No, I believe this hike was up red mountain.
Summit Ministries is Great!
Thanks for the look inside. I have known many families who send their children to Summitt.
Keep making videos will God bless you
I’m a summit grad! One of the best things I have ever done!
All public education needs to teach about God, civics, and ethics. What it means to be a patriot what the differences are of socialism, capitalism, and communism. Schools should be teaching how to think instead of what.
Even a atheist should be taught these things. Everyone makes their own decisions and choices if they only have less than half the information how can they make sound choice? Ask an atheist if its foolish to make a decision about their life from less then half the information they think they have.
They tried that and it created great citizens that were awful parents who spoiled their kids rotten!
We need to be taught how to be good people and a valuable members of society. It doesn't matter what people believe. I know that most viewers of this channel are Christians and have strong conservative beliefs. I consider myself a moderate and I would like to attend this school for like a month to get an experience out of this.
Chris M No.
Chris M Religion And Ethics Are Subjective.Teaching One Religion At School Is No Different From Marxist Indoctrination.Trying To Convert Someone By Teaching Them Their Whole Life Against Their Ideology Is Morally Wrong. As Far As The Second Part Of Your Comment I Agree. But If You Teach One Religion Or Belief,Then Teach Others As Well.

I want to go to Summit Ministries some day
I'm sending all four of my kids here - twice!
Looks like you were there in good timing. Colorado is in a deep freeze now for days. I bet it looks totally different there now.
In N. Colorado Springs; just dug out of snow today. Can't imagine trying to get around in Manitou yet...! 😏
Will is fighting the good fight.. and he’s a total stud!
Thank you, again, prager U
Amazing video!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mr. Witt, did you not film you and the young men singing the final stanza of the Act of Praise, or did you delete it when posting your vid, or wasn't it sung at all ? It struck me as being a bit peculiar that it was missing.
This vid reminded me of the work camp expeditions and retreats that I used to go on with my church's youth group. I greatly enjoyed them. This was back in the 1970s.
I bet he didn't know it. If your not religious you know the song but may not know the words. That or because he was mic'd he didn't want his voice dominating the wonderful sound of all the singers.
Socialism always leans towards totalitarianism. That's the only way the unsuccessful can take from the successful.
Or they can just move to CA will people voter their own money way each election now for the past 12 years at least. It's amazing, voters screaming in the booth with their pens, "TAKE MY MONEY PLEASE!" and CA gladly does, and then burns it in fires throughout the state.
@@TheRadioAteMyTV what do you mean by "and then they burn it in fires"?
@@powers6253 There were three articles yesterday, WSJ, Bloomberg and NYPost, all pointing out that the CA fires are caused by environmental demands put on PG&E and the lack of proper clearing and burning for decades because of people who were voted into office. So yes, they voted for the conditions that directly lead to the fires and blackouts and homelessness and diseases and the rest of the lefty agenda playing out for all to see. Democracy gives the government people deserve.
@@TheRadioAteMyTV thanks for that. I'll read those articles. I was wondering about that. I know that we've had more annual rain for the past few years than usual and assumed that the increase in rainfall helped brush grow more than usual and that the overgrowth and dry season made those brush areas more flammable, but I didn't know that environmental pressures on PG&E had anything to do with it.
@@powers6253 WSJ "Revolutionary California", NYPost "California is ‘winning’ its way into the Stone Age", Bloomberg "California has difficult choices to make. Its politicians keep avoiding reality." Hope that helps.
FYI -- The group prayer sung at the end is the Doxology -- a well-known and widely used blessing. The last line was omitted: "Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost." Not sure if this a function of Summit Ministries or Prager, but in light of their respective reputations for unapologetic faith and uncompromising free speech, it's an omission worth noting.
I learned day about Marxism, Communism, Fascism, Socialism, etc. My Sophore & Junior year of highschool. I'm so happy to have had a place where I can learn about this important information and I wish more people knew, but most people don't take college-level courses.
As usual Church does a better job educating, in all matters than the public indoctrination schools
What happened to Praise Father Son and Holy Ghost?
They left early for trick or treat.
It's one thing that it was cut, but the real insult is that they clipped back in the "amen". They should have done a clean cut, but cutting it out and then tagging it with the rest of the song, that's really bad and insulting.
@@TheRadioAteMyTV I'd like to think it was just bad editing, but I suspect bad theology with that kind of splice. Too bad for those kids, to gain all that worldly knowledge just to lose their souls anyway.

@@PatriciaSantos-qt9lw I appreciate your input. I implore you to research the theological and doctrinal teachings at Summit. Is it orthodox? Or heresy? I'll let you decide.

In fact the theological and doctrinal teachings systematically foisted on the western society(s) by the SStalinist-Hitlerian-SShariac intertwined SSect, is the typical orthodoxy of such cult and its members. Interesting. I've never heard or seen a ministry teaching young people about the gospel and social and political issues together. I think it's a great system which equips these young people about current trends especially in the U.S before they move onto tertiary or the employment market. At the end of the day, they get to make decisions about where they stand so I'm glad they're equipped with all the facts before they make their decision. Thanks for this vid PragerU!
It’s not a good mixture especially since it is too closely aligned with the Republican Party agenda.
