@@cannonwoodworking5917 after media blasting the cast iron with walnut shells, do you need to wire wheel it or do anything else before painting?

What sand blast media did you use?
I honestly could not tell you. I think the particles were a finer grit. If you paint over the surface several times you should be okay if you are concerned about marring the surface
