Yep! :)
What kind of ram does one have to buy?
Most DDR4 SDRAM will work in this system. When I had this system i went through several different sticks and several different brands. All with no trouble.

Just one unfortunately.

Just bought a 2024 x360 1 Terabyte SSD and 16GB ram for $610.00 at Best Buy… amazing how laptops are so cheap now.. I guess in a few years I will upgrade it…
Sweet!
can we upgrade its processor
No, unfortunately.
Is Samsung evo 970 plus ssd compatible with this?
Yessir!
@@TechBizmo what's the highest storage I can go with? 512gb or 1tb? Or both are compatible? Thanks!
@@mnlstscj Both are compatible. you can even go with 2TB - Make sure it is M2 NVME
M.2 NVMe is probably the preferred option, but I ended up using an M.2 SATA on my Envy x360 before I sold it.
Hi, what is the size or model of screw driver that use? star or torx? what size? Thanks!!
It works for all hp envy 16 as well
Is it too much if i upgrade mine to 64 gigs of ram ?
Not at all! All about personal preference! :)
@@TechBizmo short update. I upgraded it to 64 gigs and i love it. Its not enough for heavy CAD designing or huge minecraft mods with max render distance, but im still satisfied with it
can the cpu be upgrade from i7 to i9?
No.
Can graphics card also upgrade like this?
No, all envy models are integrated graphics, tm hd 7 seriers
Not all are integrated graphics. They have options with NVIDIA dedicated graphics.
what is the exact model this laptop?
Envy x360 DR0011DX
Was the 8gb version 2x4 or 1x8?
1x8
@@TechBizmo nice thx
You’re welcome!
is wifi upgradeable?
Yep! It requires a lot of disassembly though
Works ONLY for models with removable RAM plates.
Yes. Some Envy x360 models, like the 13 inch don't allow for RAM upgrades as the memory is soldered to the board.
Will an Crucial 64GB Kit (2 x 32GB) DDR4-2666 SODIMM work?

PizzaLovingNerd theories when?
Soon, I've been busy with other projects. :)

Yes sir!
Thank you
Very welcome! :)
Ram max?
64GB in this machine.
@@TechBizmo Thanks!
No problem my friend! :)
@@TechBizmo is this the 13 or 15 inch?
15 inch.
Is there another slot for a extra ssd ?
For some Envy x360s, you'll see an M.2 slot, as well as a SATA slot. This particular model doesn't have that option.
@@TechBizmo ok ... Ima have to do more research...
@@jermainec2462 lemme know how it goes. :)
Thank you, very useful.
But the camera is a bit blur i think, please have a better camera.
My apologies...
I have a better camera now. I was using the front facing camera of my Samsung Galaxy S9 at the time. Expect higher quality very soon!
Bought and tried to install ram just to find out that I already have ram in there
LOL… if you bought a higher amount, just swap it out. If not, I hope you were able to return it or use it for something else! :)
Annoying
Thanks, you too
1. You talk too much with no information
2. You need a static pad, and grounding strap.
3. Where is the other SSD slot. information that is handy.
Good basic information. bad safety, and technique.
1. The point of my videos is to talk through the process to make the viewer more comfortable
2. I was wearing a grounding strap on my ankle, grounded to the metal frame of the desk
3. There is NO other ssd slot.
How do you add a new SAMSUNG 990 Pro SSD drive to it if it only has one slot? Did I miss anything? Thanks in advance!
Am I able to upgrade from HHD to SSD?
If your system has an HDD, then yes. My system didn’t have an HDD slot. Just an m.2 NVMe slot for an SSD.
