Really appreciate when you part out the PC even with restrictive budget. And I thank you for acknowledging when that's not the case. On some other tech channels you get the host casually mentioning a 3k+ build and it hurts a little to see someone being so nonchalant with something that is nowhere near accessible to me. You're one for the most grounded tech tubers I'm subbed to and look forward to each and every one of your videos.

Given that the RX 7900 releases on the 13th, my guess is that the embargo lifts on the 12th. On a completely unrelated note, the PowerColor Red Devil RX 7900 would look absolutely awesome in that case!
Looking forward to seeing the second half! I’m about to undergo my first build, also in this case. I’m pretty confident for the most part, but cable management is almost always glossed over. This is almost my exact build, I have the Y60 Red, I have my 7950X and MB AND waiting for the new AMD GPUs to launch in a couple weeks before I finalize the build. Even ordered a 5 pack of the Uni-fans that come in next week. Getting SOOOOO excited to build... 🍻
Somewhat along the same lines as you, but I'm still using my old Cooler Master CM Stacker 830 Full Tower case instead. I just finished the build using the Asus X670E-E Gaming Wifi board + 7950X + 32GB of Corsair Vengeance and the Noctua DH-15 Chromax Black CPU Cooler. And I suspected what would happen, too many changes so Windows 11 needs to be activated once more.
Every time Paul says the word devil someone at PowerColor shifts uncomfortably in their chair. Great build, nice choice with the shiny grey custom cables.
The HX1000i is the better power supply, and no "stand-in', not because it's rated for 150 more watts - which does help. But because it's the more robust supply using thicker gauge copper internals, heavier magnets, the HXi line uses multi-rail delivery, etc.
"I can't tell you what GPU that is going in this, but the devil is in the details" I am utterly mystified, dumbfounded, bamboozled and nincompooped as to WHAT that GPU could possibly be. All I know is that this thing is so Red, it makes the devil Jealous.
Very similar to what I’m working on. Same case and color, but I’m only doing a 7700x, but definitely getting the 7900XTX. Even looking at those fans. Lol

A concern I see potentially arising is that new GPU likely won't be able to be mounted vertically without it being choked right up against the side panel on account of it's exorbitant level of thicc'ness.
Looks great! I vote for red cables. If it were my build I'd do custom cables because I hate extensions. Too much extra stuff to manage imo. Anyway, I can't wait to see it complete!
14:20 The top gray ones look the best, IMO. Red would match the case, but it might be too much red, lol. Plus, if the winner wants to change up the theme of the build or change the case for whatever reason, gray goes with everything. The top gray ones look way better than the bottom ones. The connectors aren't shiny/cheaper-looking like the bottom ones, and I like the almost metallic look of the top gray sleeving vs. the bottom flat gray. Plus they come with black cable combs, which I think look way better compared to the cheap-looking clear combs of the other cable extensions.
This build looks amazing. You should keep the kitcom extension cables. Also I’m pleasantly surprised how nice and well made that case is seeing how it was made by a SI.

That is gorgeous 😍 can't wait to see the final devilish design 😈. I just bought some of these parts during the Black Friday sale and I am so excited to see what Sapphire brings out for the 7900xtx. I hope it is reasonable. I also need an AIO, and love the Lian Li Infinity fans to complete my build. Super Excited to start building toward the end of this month.
Red cable extensions are my choice. A red case for an all-AMD build is on brand. Even the riser is red. For the GPU we are waiting to see, I expect it will have red letters and accents for AMD. From your hint: I expect the GPU we are waiting for to be a Red Devil card. The AIO display ROG is their brand color too. So yes definitely, all the accents should be red. The tempered glass is tinted and the color pop will make it into a "Look at me, I'm a fantastic," build. 🎀
Admittedly, I had a similar idea for a PC like this, but with more white added to the build. Same Case, same processor source, Same Display in the AIO, but with white fans
The red cables would be better (or better yet, RGB red). As it's a transparent case with red accents then I suggest that the purpose is to reveal what's inside, so the components and cables ought not to be dark or muted. Also, the case is full of RGB fans which should pick out all the interior red accents perfectly - go red accent crazy!

So.... a PowerColor RX 7900 XTX will likely look fine in that build. Will a 4 slot RD fit vertically though?
The red is much more fitting for the theme of this build. The build is aesthetically pleasing and extremely attractive! The red just pops.
I really like the red extentions, I think they'll tie the theme together really well. The devil is in the details :)

Lian Li fans are so sweet looking. I've never actively pined for a fan before and yet whenever I see their fans I all "OMG I WANT them!!!"
I personally think the red cables look better by far with the overall aesthetic of this build.
