He was hardly in the NFL, pre-season is more of a trial run, so technically he never played a legit snap.

ihytj see people like you downplay people’s accomplishments based on one noticeable attribute about themselves. It’s not just his size have you ever thought about the countless hours of training for all of these accomplishments takes. He got his size from hard work so give him his credit.

As a 225lb sophomore, he was one of the biggest players in the Confrence, on his Football team, but he was also one of the fastest players in the conference. He definitely did better than I would have guessed but he didn’t have the off the ball reflexes a D-Line man needs which makes since since hasn’t played since he was in HS. He would have had a really hard time against the starting or second team O-Line if he made the team, it’s just such a jump in talent. His victory was that he went for it and the fact that he wasn’t destroyed by guys younger and far more experienced says a lot about how great of a athlete he was and is!

Brock needed more time on learning technique and movement for his position. If he had that down, he would have been the JJ Watt of the NFL long before he got into the league. Brock had the strength and the agility but he lacked the full knowledge on how to move, swim, and shift correctly.
But I give him a ton a credit for trying out considering his circumstances back in 04 with all the injures and punishment pro-wrestling did to him.

Him being dominated by a man that probably can lift less, and has much more body fat just shows you how knowing the fundamentals wins almost every time in sports.
