- This video is about my 2002 Acura TL Type S. I have owned this vehicle for one and a half years and has been a great car, I love it. It is very fast for what it is. The car has 260hp stock with 232 ft-lbs at 3500 rpm
This is my first video please comment anything you think needs improvement(please nothing to negative)

I have the same exact car, no rips and 287, 432 miles on it and still don't have any transmission problem at all.
Just got one of these for a good deal and I love it one of the best cars I’ve drove. Great quality interior, lots of features inside, good performance, and it looks just as good on the outside. If your debating on getting one I definitely recommend you get your hands on one!
I drove one like this for years, best car i ever owned.
Ryan A mine was great gave it to my dad at 240k and he got it up to exactly 250k then someone rear ended it and totalled it out.
I recently upgraded to a 2012 TL with a video to come as soon as I hit 200k in a few months!

Ryan A absolutely love it. I’ve got some free time coming up and will try to make a video about it. With 200k miles it just simply doesn’t have anything that has worn out like the interior is basically perfect.
I also bought a 2008 Acura MDX which I also love just as much both are amazing cars. But the 2012 TL is perfect because it really doesn’t have any issues it’s really a bulletproof car. The transmission is basically bulletproof too I can’t say I’ve really heard of a failure(that is one that received the torque converter update before they had issue)

Great review video. I’ve own 2 TL in my life and I just got my 3rd one which is a beautiful 2003 TL S Type with 160k miles. Just recently the rear view mirror fogged up and started leaking some type of oil liquid substance. I never known that to happen but, I heard you talk about it in this video and I’m assuming it blew up as you stated. I’m probably just going to replace it with a aftermarket one to eliminate future issues. Beautiful car you have by the way and it’s going to last forever. Thanks again for video
Sorry about the mess lol just wanted to make a video. Wasant really worried about it. I will probably make an updated video as well. It has accumulated more miles and I will show how it has held up with almost a year and a half of making this video

it's called goose neck hinges. also you can swap the transmission with the 3.2 honda accord.
Or you could swap a cl type-s 6-speed

Where did you mount your GTA kit? I installed one not too long ago and it has a problem where when streaming audio is on it skips parts of the song for 2-3 seconds and sometimes more and it will also drop the connection randomly. I have a 2003 TL-S and use my iPhone 6 with it but it has also does it with my LG tablet and my mom's iPhone 5C. I have a feeling it could be where I mounted it behind the radio and the metal in the dash could be affecting it but I can't be sure.
I mounted it basically under the coin tray but I highly doubt that that the metal has anything to do with it. I've had mine for over 1 year now without any issues, I run the Bluetooth with a iPhone 6s. Maybe call GTA car kits and ask for a warranty replacement would be my guess
Everthing Car Reviews I ended up emailing them and they pointed out that in the video I took of it the phone was plugged in. Unplugged it, went for a 45 minute to hour drive and not a single skip. Used a different cord plugged into and adapter in the power outlet and still didn't skip. So only when my phone is plugged in with the cable I bought from their website that is plugged into the USB port on the module does it skip. Pretty odd if you ask me. I'll be taking apart the dash for the 3rd time to switch cables and see if the white Apple cable makes a different when it's plugged into the module. (I have an iPhone 6 BTW) I hope it gets rid of it because its really nice not having a ton if wires snaking through the interior. Oh.... and my car need a repaint pretty bad and I really like that color on yours.
Would y’all recommend as a first car? I am currently in college and have to travel to and from Oklahoma and the one I am looking at has a brand new transmission, but the engine has 193,000 miles on it. I would like some more knowledge about the car from other perspectives before purchasing it.

Dub 87 it was when I made the video. Within another year from making this video I got the mileage at 250k and gave it to a friend in need of a good car. I bought a 08 TSX then kept it for a year then started missing the torquey and responsive v6 so I gave it to my sister and bought a 2012 TL and currently have had it for a year and have been meaning to make a video on it.

Your paint is really bad! It has a shit ton of Orange peel and it looks like they used the inside of the car as a wild animal cage.
The paint looks way better than a regular one with clear coat peeling and the orange peel is only noticeable up close.

Mine was 3 grand but in much better condition then this crapola my transmission failed at 210 k
Syed Ghazi well this car now has 242k miles and the transmission has 155k miles so While my "crapola" is still running perfectly, you're "much better condition" TL is either rotting in a scrapyard or you've already put a ton of money into it to keep it in running condition. Syed Ghazi looks great man. I'm just saying no need to come disrespect my car like that man. Plus I was a 16 when I bought this car myself and literally did all the maintenance and even timing belt myself... I was very proud to own a car like this. Now I have upgraded to a 2008 TSX and this is just a backup car
