8:54 If you're looking for another hidden gem in Kellogg a 5 min pedal away from the gondola base: Humdinger burgers. Get the jalepeno burger. I have memories of being like 10yo eating there. It's a time capsule.
I grew up in kellogg, i live in couer d alene only a half hour west because there is more to do here but I grew up on that mountain more on snow then dirt though, i remember what it was like before the resort with a Waterpark and all that cool stuff, fun mountain though.
I had a good time there - looking forward to going back now that I'm more confident in my rides! The full experience all the way back down to the town was awesome, if not exhausting. But I popped a tire on PayDay (green) cause it was crazy rocky that day/time of year. Walking down bike patrol passed and was like "oh yeah, you WILL pop a tire here" -_-
They have technical trails, looking at your frankenbeans, but it’s about finding the flow in the trails, and learning the smooth lines. I agree it’s rocky, I even blew a tire running 30 psi, but most green and blue trails aren’t super choppy. Also you have been their enough until you get kick out of the local night life... 😂
😂Not even sure what you coulda done to earn that! haha. Frankenbeans is definitely a blast! And a trail we forgot about sometimes honestly...dang. We wanna go back already.
Haha😂... If you watched the beginning of our eMTB Roundup videos, my trusty can of Murray's Pomade made an appearance. Based on all the comments and questions about the hair, we thought it'd be a fun little joke. Murray's orange tin but after 12 years of use, I've started using this a bit more www.murrayspomade.com/beeswax/Murrays-BEESWAX
LOL @ 9:28 tight and flowy is a bit of an oxymoron. Yeah Silver Mountain is about at raw as it gets. There's not much flow on the mountain until you really start to open up and let off the brakes.
Well, we'd disagree. There are lots of tight and flowy trails. It's a different kind of flow, just like different types of dancing have different movements that are in tune with the music, different types of trails have different types of flow... Some of our favorite trails zig and zag between tight trees and have quick snappy turns. Then again Drew will go to Whistler for a week and not hit A-Line once... So what does he know?
@@TheLoamWolf No need to be defensive my friend. Did you watch the clip at that time mark? It's just funny to see Drew call something tight and flowy and then watch the scenes that they cut to are chunky and gnarly while Drew exclaims "ooooohhhh god" and "I think there are some roots on this trail". while riding a trail that's a rooty techy trail.
LW isn’t being defensive, they just said they disagree haha c’mon. I think a trail can absolutely be both tight and flowy. That is, a trail can be anything and everything simultaneously. One persons tech or loose is another persons flow, and vice versa. It’s silly to argue what a trail is or isn’t when one persons opinion is as valid as another. My rule of thumb; if the trail has a hand-built berm somewhere, the trail has “flow” at least for that moment. That’s my opinion.
Not better at all. It's a place that will push you because of how janky and raw it is and it's a lot of fun if you have the skills to ride there. Just don't expect to be going down big well made jump lines. When Drew said it was voted best bike park in North America he meant that it got voted best bike park in the NW of the USA in 2018. Silver mountain Didn't hold that spot in last years vote Big Sky MT got #1 in 2019.
@@lokmtb8503 @LōK MTB Thanks for clarifying. Yes @Peyton we meant best in North America for MTB Parks survey. Better than Whistler? We'd say not. But it's a pretty rad park and while we wouldn't say it's janky, it definitely is raw!
I absolutely love that the old guy ride's the bike park! Super cool hooking him up with some Maxxis tires. You're a good human Drew and crew!!!
Thanks very much @MTBRider. It was awesome to be able to get him some fresh rubber and we love spreading the love as much as we can.

One of our favorite places to ride and race!
I am not from America but still I love your vids and enjoy it aa d this time again it's a new intro❤️
Glad you like them!
Giving out ur supply to a good dude, i love this channel more and more!! Sick shots of the trails...cant wait for the East coast review🤘
Thanks very much Chris! We had some spares and he was certainly in need. Thankful that Maxxis gave us some extras for the trip.
Another killer video. You guys are living the dream and providing a window to all the overlooked biking options out there 🤙🏼
Thanks a lot Noondog! Much appreciated.
I saw you guys In the parking lot while we were going up to the lift😂 I had the green norco Dh bike and my friend had a specialized endro.
@9:17 that is our RV in the parking lot. Silver MTN is a great bike park!
I think your review was spot on. The park has a ton of potential, but super rough and rocky.
Thanks Taylor. Appreciate it.

Nice footage and edits
Thank you! 🙂
Great fun riding with you guys!
Thanks MrDirt22. We had a good time too!
Ahhh looks so fun 🤘
It is a good one!
Stoking the old guy with swag was gold
Thanks Sean! We were really happy to be able to hook him up.
Still smoother than Snowshoe
I hope I'm still riding the park at that guy's age.
So do we!
Looks like it could be a fun park for someone with a 140/140 trail bike that's more advanced on the "beginner" trails?
Hey Drew, can you clue us in on what your putting in your hair?

Did I miss the rating portion? I would guess it’s in that 7-8 range
Depending on time of year, it could be either! haha.
when u posting the mountain creek video?
We've got a couple more episodes to drop before Mountain Creek. That one should be dropping around the 3rd week of October though.
Better than whistler?

If you can ride Silver’s jankyness (which I like!) whistler’s perfectly manicured trails are no problem. If ya like it RAW, Silver’s your spot.
