  • As Moses puts it, Marvin is "a scientist with a twinkle in his eye". Marvin gives an interesting, comedic approach to solve all of life's problems. "What I really wanted to talk about was all the problems in the World and how to solve them", that sure got a good laugh from the audience. Watch as Marvin discusses the issues at hand, human lifespan and intelligence, and the possibility of AI and robots being put into place to figure out the more difficult problems.

At 17:40 I really liked the emphasis on the history of the "human colony" lack of attention towards "cognitive development" as was done, for example, by piaget. I guess we are loosing great opportunities of intervention (for good and for evil???) in the way children are educated.

In the context of science, "The Merry Pranksters of Science" may refer to researchers who adopt unconventional methodologies, challenge orthodox theories, or explore controversial topics in their pursuit of knowledge. These scientists may be known for their innovative ideas, bold experiments, or willingness to push the boundaries of conventional scientific practice. While their approaches may sometimes be met with skepticism or resistance from the scientific establishment, they are often celebrated for their creativity, boldness, and willingness to explore new frontiers in science and discovery.
