Soooo many people complained that Mob had such an easy and short EE so on Blood 3arc said fuck let’s give em hell😂 After Cold War I went back to BO4 and it reminded me what challenging quests were and it was really refreshing.
If I want a questing game, I'll play an RPG. I play zombies for zombies and them losing the casual fans for the hard-core ones is why the community is practically dead and their content is languishing. Haven't played a new zombies game since BO3 and Shadows Of Evil was the only map on release. They lost ALLOT of casual fans just off that one game.
@@Helicopterenthusiast I wouldn't know that, I haven't played a new CoD since BO3 like I said, and I dropped the multi-player my first match. The jetpack mechanics I couldn't manage whilst in the midst of a gun fight, I played AW online more and I could much better do the quick button taps for boosting in the exo. I also didn't like how fast paced it was simultaneously, granted AW was also fast paced but it was much more manageable if you were willing to grind, I was not in BO3. Shadows of Evil was the last straw, I played 2 rounds and only got to round 4 both times, the margwa kicked my azz so I turned it off in favor of borderlands 2 and Halo 4 at that time. I feel like Ascension is under appreciated. Other than that, this list is solid. I really hope Treyarch can give us another masterpiece like Shadows, Origins, Mob or Gorod in their next game. Kevin Drew is doing very well with community feedback, so I have high hopes for this next game.
@@ThePartyyChat Ascension would be the easiest map of all time without them. I’m glad they’re in the map. And the map is designed pretty well with them in it. They made Jug and Quick Revive close to each other so it would be efficient to defend those perks since they were the crucial ones. And the monkeys do less damage to the perks that are further away so it can give you time to run to it. The only thing that sucks with them is I feel like I always lose PHD/Widows Wine for some reason even though sometimes there’s just one monkey on it. Hellhounds would have made this map super boring. Plus this was the first map you could get more than 4 perks.
I didn’t necessarily agree with your list but love the points you made about all the maps and how much time you spent explaining those points with each and every single map 👍🏼
Good video, it is amazing to see how different everyone's opinion is, like I'm trying to understand how people can dislike Forsaken's layout. Each location looks great and can be utilized, and it has one of the greatest wonder weapons of all time
I agree with everything except for the placements of the bo4 maps but I do understand why most of them are so low, I'm just the guy who loves bo4 a lot but I do understand why people don't like it, great video!

Great video had me hooked the whole time, so nostalgic been playing cod since i was seven on call of duty 4 on xbox 360 now im a neek and play pc games everyday.
putting nacht above dead of the night is a joke. you cant honestly say nostalgia didn't play a role in this choice :P nacht is a map you play once and then go play der riese if you're on WaW or any other map if you're on bo3. nacht is boring and an absolute joke, i get that this is your opinion and i respect that, but i think ur opinion is wrong.
Transit is the best cod zombies map of all time. It was literally the most fun I've ever experienced finding so much stuff and places getting a little further each run. If they revamped it and put it in a modern game it would hands down be a masterpiece unbeatable for all time. Give it a better wonder weapon and add some more quality of life things that the old hardware did not allow for and it would stand unrivaled.
Tranzit and Buried were my 2 favorite maps on BO2. If you couldn't afford DLC, then tranzit was like getting 4 maps in 1 and you could have a different experience/challenge every run. Buried was the map you would take your friends to to have a fun azz time and get as high as you can while killing zombies.
I can admit, BO4 is not the best zombies experience for the vast majority, but for me, it's the game that really brought me into the zombies community. I can still to this day pick up IX or Blood of The Dead and have a good time.

Highly-Highly disagree with Tag Der Totens placement, I absolutely loved that map when it released, I also love the map progression, Easter egg isn’t too tedious and I like it for that
Idk how vanguard enjoyers can exist with the mere fact that through the over 10 years of cod zombies has there ever been a time where round base zombies DL fucking C
i recently went through all of the old maps pre-bo3 because i never played zombies until shadows came out. in my personal, unbiased, non nostalgic opinion, fuck shi no numa, fuck tranzit, die rise, and moon
Ain’t NO SHOT he put Zetsubo that low. Literally the second best atmosphere of all time (SOE is #1). The map is the perfect image of Takeo. It also has one of the best cut scenes of all time. The KT4 is so fun and the skull literally is more unique than almost any other wonder weapon. YALL ARE BUGGIN. RIP in the chat for my boi Zet
I love it bro shadows of evil the greatest map of all time thank you I still think die machine should be ranked higher but I love your analysis and opinions!!!!
such a simple but thoroughly captivating video idea. this is the type of content you can play in earphones whilst doing work or something. good stuff bro
I love kino, probably my most played and favourite map. Very pure to the hop in and kill some zombs heart of zombies. Five is my least favourite, pure frustrating chaos to me
I agree with everything else other than Zetsubo people need to understand that zetsubo is an amazing map it got so much hate for the glitches and yea it looks gross😂 but orgins looks gross too and it’s the best map ever so why can’t people appreciate zetsubo for the amazing map it is with its simple EE and simple wonder weapon and they did so much with the skull and plants!!!!
I love Zetsobou, the KT-4 is one of my favs and the marshals were so cool. Nobody mentions the spider boss fight and the fact that the skull of nonsapwe is super OP! (Hella underrated, almost every map has been broken at launch so saying that it’s glitchy is so dumb) Zets > Gorod
I think putting shi no Numa above fire base and zets is actually criminal. I’ve actually fallen asleep playing shi no numa there’s literally nothing to do at all

Thank you again fab job on the video.
Very well made discussion with a lot of reasons for why each maps is where you put them. I especially liked your discussion of Origins and Eisendrache.
I can’t take anyone seriously who thinks Der Reise is worse than Mob of the Dead or Shadows of Evil, this is like 50 IQ takes and most of your good maps were “well I never really had fun but the map layouts were interesting or had bugs”
Der Riese is amazing but it’s too easy to have map control. Mob is more chaotic and Shadows has so much to do. Both are better than Der Riese but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad map
personal top 3 MOTD- Best atmosphere, wonder weapon, characters. 10/10 map Origins- The first great quest map with 4 wonder weapons, debatably the best Map ever Moon- Aged like fine wine. Although moon can be unforgiving and annoying its really unique and perfectly challenging. The EE is still the best
I love the game play design of black ops one and two. The way that you use strafe jumps in those games is so smooth and satisfying. There’s just something about the way you move in those games that hits different.
I wish they’d make a Zombie Chronicles 2 and remaster every map from WaW to BO3 and rework the ones that missed the mark at the time like Tranzit,Die Rise,Call of the Dead and Revelations. Make it so people could choose to play with any era of weapons on any map and that a friend could use WaW guns while another person was using BO3 guns. Add a pack a punch to Nach and Verruckt maybe come out with more weapons and maybe a brand new map or two and who knows a light zombies campaign. Dead Ops 1 and 2 remastered as well. Add some cool Easter eggs and BO3 lobby music and possibly in game music playing the different zombie songs the entire time. Idk I’d pay 100$ for that
This is a very controversial take but I actually like cold war zombies. It’s the most fun I’ve had with zombies for a while, and playing on mnk makes it more fun too (I don’t own any other cod zombies game on pc). Tbf I only did recently buy cold war and yes it’s quite easy compared to other zombies maps. But I do like the operators but they could be improved. I never really adored the crews in the other games but that could be because I’m not a die hard lore fanatic or really got attached to the characters or was a die hard fan either. And I have tried few easter eggs or easter egg steps on zombies and for me personally I get bored. Like it’s fun to do if you can do it but I much enjoy playing zombies to survive and get high rounds. Zombies was fun for me when I was playing on the 360 on split screen on BO1 or BO2 zombies. Even playing those titles on my Xbox one solo was quite fun. But I don’t care about the crew as much as other people, but for future installments it would be cool for them to add an option for a default crew or operators. I just personally like self expression, I like expressing myself as my own character in my own game. I don’t want to be a character that doesn’t fit my personality or has their own defined morals and beliefs. Yes for story purposes it’s a good thing to have those traits but I don’t play zombies for the story. Tbh I don’t even really like the story either, I’ve watched quite a few hours of documentaries on all the story and yeah it’s just really not my thing. But cold war is refreshing for me, first zombies with crossplay which is super inviting to play with friends and not feel forced to play on a certain platform. I also like using mnk because it feels more engaging to play (however you could argue that all cod zombies games can be played with mnk, but most of the games I own are on console and my friends too. Cold war would be a lot better if it was made harder. But considering the game being out for 2 years and my teammates still dying constantly in random lobbies, maybe it was a good thing the game was made easier lol. But cold war would of been super cool if it had a dark aether map where you have to escape into the real world and either have a boss fight in the dark aether or have one when you enter the real world to stop the force from overtaking the world. It would also be cool if during that bossfight the player gains unique abilities granted from the dark aether similar to how Maxis got her powers. And maybe during the ee steps give small buffs that lead up to the omega boss buff. But that would be hard to balance out to make the ee not feel like it’s required. That’s the issue with cold wars ee is that it feels like you’re disadvantaging yourself by not doing the ee. Like on the first map you can get a guaranteed gold weapon and a free jug from doing the coffin dance ee. As a player not doing that ee puts you at a big disadvantage which it shouldn’t, ee should not feel like they are needed to be known to gain gen advantages. But this is my rating of all the black ops games (I have not played world at war and stuff so I can’t rank those) 1. Black Ops 3 2. Black Ops 2 3. Black Ops 1 4. Black Ops Cold War 5. Black Ops 4 Tbh I like all of these apart from bo4. I played bo4 multiplayer and zombies for a long time because that’s when I got a console I could play whenever I want and yeah it was fun for a while but tbh specialist weapons are way to op. Also kinda forgot you could only pick 4 perks. I always picked the same ones to help perserve my life longer and help get up incompetent teammates up easier. So their idea to make loadouts unique and change the style of game rather then using jug, double tap, speed cola, stamina up, quick revive every game, kinda flopped. Because you would just use 4 of the same perks in bo4 anyways. I also played quite a bit of BO1 but I always enjoyed BO2 more. BO2 is chaotic and I like the dark environments and how the world feels more apocalyptic. But cold war is pretty fun for casuals and just a fun time. PHD flopper is op thou, it makes an already pretty easy game that much easier oof. Also you get to the point that you don’t even have to buy ammo anymore because mule kick exists. But ig coldwar is good because it suit any players gameplay style, you can make the gameplay harder by spawning with a pistol with no attachments, or spawn in with a fully kitted ar or shotgun. As a player you have more options to pick from that make a custom gameplay experience. But overall tbh I like the more challenging experience and not having the ability to customise attachments on guns or spawning in with an op gun. Also tbh sliding made the game easier but more skills to master to. But BO2 and prior there was no sliding.

@@mhnd1388 Sure you can. Get a guy with the Wonder Waffle, a couple of MG-42s and a third guy using the Ronald Ray Gun. You do crowd control. Biggest issue we used to have was falling asleep at 4 am!
@@mhnd1388 but you can lmao
As an old gamer (50) but a recent convert to zombies via Cold War, I really enjoyed this.
You ever get into the old ones?
@@jayo5731 I've tried a few BO3 & ZC maps - Kino, Origins and SoE I think. They are noticeably harder :-) I'm currently working on Dark Aether in CW, once I've done that I'll see if I can get better at some older maps.
@@martinmansell39 for sure l, growing up playing the older ones and then getting Cold War made it seem way too easy. Couldn’t get hooked on it. Mob of the dead is a great one to check out, along with call of the dead and I’ll get hate but die rise (so much fun to play with others). Just my opinion!
@@jayo5731 thanks for the recommendations!
Soooo many people complained that Mob had such an easy and short EE so on Blood 3arc said fuck let’s give em hell😂 After Cold War I went back to BO4 and it reminded me what challenging quests were and it was really refreshing.
Fr. BO4 is the best zombies experience for the hardcore fanbase.
@@SeviathTheHumanDrago uh, cold war caters to casuals.
I have never played cold War, I don't even have a system to play it on, I have the Xbox 360 slim black version still and I refuse to upgrade due to the fact that I still have to download my game when I have the physical copy. And no, I do not have Live even.
@@adriel68 i wouldnt say that, the last time i played bo4, I got bores of playing, dropped the controller and it took about 3 minutes for the zombies to kill me, the perks in this game are so OP that they couldnt kill me
I feel like Ascension is under appreciated. Other than that, this list is solid. I really hope Treyarch can give us another masterpiece like Shadows, Origins, Mob or Gorod in their next game. Kevin Drew is doing very well with community feedback, so I have high hopes for this next game.
He made zns and ancient evil
@@bluecherryreal those are still good to great maps, though pretty controversial
The monkeys ruin acension dude trust me replay it
@@ThePartyyChat Ascension would be the easiest map of all time without them.
I agree ascension is underrated. Was my 2nd favorite map of black ops behind call of the dead
Holy shit, someone with good takes on treyarch zombies maps. Nice video man
I didn’t necessarily agree with your list but love the points you made about all the maps and how much time you spent explaining those points with each and every single map 👍🏼
Good video, it is amazing to see how different everyone's opinion is, like I'm trying to understand how people can dislike Forsaken's layout. Each location looks great and can be utilized, and it has one of the greatest wonder weapons of all time
Enjoyed every minute of this video worth the watch. Brought back some good memories from some old zombies maps
1:11:54 that's so true about shadows and how tje community grew on it over time
I agree with everything except for the placements of the bo4 maps but I do understand why most of them are so low, I'm just the guy who loves bo4 a lot but I do understand why people don't like it, great video!
He said most of them are still very good - but the other maps are just extra special
Fr. DOTN is an incredible map
I felt like tag der toten deserves to be higher its my opinion should be in the middlish
BO4 was garbage bro. The engine and the awful perk system and boss zombie spam made the game awful to play.
@@Destroyer94100 Also no one talks about how trash the HUD is in BO4 and Cold War zombies
Just paused it until I get to watch this without distraction. Looking forward to it, thanks!
This was great man, you packed so much detail into this! Thanks for sharing and making me consider what I liked and disliked about playing these over the years. God bless you :)
Watched to the end, great video and content, subbed.
Dead of the Night just feels like a resident evil map
*Tyrant Noises*
That moment I look how long this video is and it's 1:15.... You mad lad you!
Shi no numa: “the first time treyarch allowed players to open up the map” *is ironically mostly closed off in vanguard* lol
finally someone who doesnt just blindly dump on tranzit and die rise. Yes they were ranked low, but no one can deny they are some of the funnest
I just love long video’s i really love your voice maybe it sounds weird but you know haha,
Keep up the good work man 👍🏻
ah kino, she was my first and the most beautiful, she helped me realize beauty isn’t everything
can't wait for zombies in 2024
I agree and understand your pov on but Tranzit being second to last is wild
Man, Voyage and Die Rise are over hated
Voyage is a A tier map
Finished the entire video man I love watching all your long videos they bring back to those time where I made lots of memories 💯 keep up the great work chopper
i started watching it out of curiosity and accidentally stayed for the whole thing.. but i regret nothing!
6:37 There is one in bo3, it’s a mod tho, but it’s super fun
Transit is the best cod zombies map of all time. It was literally the most fun I've ever experienced finding so much stuff and places getting a little further each run. If they revamped it and put it in a modern game it would hands down be a masterpiece unbeatable for all time. Give it a better wonder weapon and add some more quality of life things that the old hardware did not allow for and it would stand unrivaled.
I aggre in my 10 years of gaming I never had so much fun in a video game. Tranzit will always have a place in my heart.
Thanks for the vid chop 🫡
I can admit, BO4 is not the best zombies experience for the vast majority, but for me, it's the game that really brought me into the zombies community. I can still to this day pick up IX or Blood of The Dead and have a good time.
Blood or mob?
I turned on this to listen to while I played SOE and I giggled at his number one pick
Grabbing some popcorn for this one
“DE is perfect and it has zero flaws, but there’s still two maps ahead of it and they both have flaws and one of those maps is the map that DE perfected the vision of
Highly-Highly disagree with Tag Der Totens placement, I absolutely loved that map when it released, I also love the map progression, Easter egg isn’t too tedious and I like it for that
It’s a great map. Tundragun is great too. A visually stunning, fun map.
Idk how vanguard enjoyers can exist with the mere fact that through the over 10 years of cod zombies has there ever been a time where round base zombies DL fucking C
Can we just appreciate how long this would have taken to make
I was so close to clicking off when I heard tranzit but I'll hear you out for now
My man really ranked tag and dotn as part of the top 5 worst maps
"I will be ranking these objectively, not based on nostalgia" proceeds to rank each based on nostalgia 🤔
Enjoyed everything about this video well worth the watch. Brought back some good memories from zombies
i recently went through all of the old maps pre-bo3 because i never played zombies until shadows came out. in my personal, unbiased, non nostalgic opinion, fuck shi no numa, fuck tranzit, die rise, and moon
Stopped watching after that Tag Der Toten placement, that's an absurd take, not even close to being the worst within its own game
Agreed 👍
Yeah there’s some weird takes on here
25:10 this completely contradicts your point regarding fun and transit, really bad point you're making
Agree with a lot of your reasoning for your rankings and think it's a solid list for the most part...but man Dead of the Night got done dirty here
What was Chaosxsilencer smoking when he said "The best zombies map of all time... Kino Der Toten Black ops 1"
He saved himself by making SoE #1 so imma let it slide
Ahh yes, the "Kneel before me" skull.
Yes if all that was easier to do or get to it would’ve been way higher I think the gameplay of that map held it back
Ur forgetting about ancient evil my guy
I agree it was WAY to low but it definitely isn’t a top 5 and probably isn’t a top 10 map
I love it bro shadows of evil the greatest map of all time thank you I still think die machine should be ranked higher but I love your analysis and opinions!!!!
Bro just dropped a legendary video out of no where
Yes put Tag Der UnToten in trash your the only RUclipsr that actually agrees with me that Tag der Untoten was a disgrace
such a simple but thoroughly captivating video idea. this is the type of content you can play in earphones whilst doing work or something. good stuff bro
no its not
Anyone else find it perfect that the hour and minutes is 115?
Honestly I completely agree with the Shadows of Evil placement, such a masterpiece
Good map but I don't think it deserves a spot as best map ever. Origins, DE and Mob outclass it imo.
Hot take, but not only is SoE an overrated map, but it's simply a bad map in my opinion.
Great video!
Vanguard is so good... Wait it aint the game with DE and Shadows.
Buried and origins are definitely my two favorite of all time, I still go back to play those maps.
My man just put Firebase Z over Tag Der Toten and DOTN
Best video to shower to
I love kino, probably my most played and favourite map. Very pure to the hop in and kill some zombs heart of zombies. Five is my least favourite, pure frustrating chaos to me
Yeah five is hit or miss. When bo1 came out it sucked because it was so damn hard but looking back it was a good map for difficulty
🔥🔥🔥🔥 made it to the end. Looks like I'm one of the few.
U like it good for you not everyone needs to share your opinion 🤡
@@Cantthinkofname-rp3iw You’re a clown for even responding to this
I love Zetsobou, the KT-4 is one of my favs and the marshals were so cool. Nobody mentions the spider boss fight and the fact that the skull of nonsapwe is super OP! (Hella underrated, almost every map has been broken at launch so saying that it’s glitchy is so dumb) Zets > Gorod
Unpopular opinion: BO4 was good but the community wasn't ready for the innovations then, they were expecting bo3 part 2
"I'll try to not make this biased" pretty much all bo4 maps at bottom
Fr, Dead of the night below Alpha Omega and Shi No Numa? That’s a laugh
I think putting shi no Numa above fire base and zets is actually criminal. I’ve actually fallen asleep playing shi no numa there’s literally nothing to do at all
Lex rn 👀
Lex gonna love watching this!
best list I've ever seen🙌 W for taking out the nostalgia
Great Job! My brother and I are arguing your choice of Shadows over Origins, but I am with you Shadows is better lol. I really wish they would bring Grief back into zombies, the pvp aspect of zombies was tons of fun! Also, I apologize if I missed it, I didn't hear Farm or Town covered. Thank you again fab job on the video.
nuketown zombies is the nact of bo2 whether we needed a bo2 nact is debatable but im happy we got it
Very well made discussion with a lot of reasons for why each maps is where you put them.
Bro what! IX is a top 10 map for sure.
Bruh I'm drunk every weekend, but never that drunk to say Five is better than Classified.
personal top 3
MOTD- Best atmosphere, wonder weapon, characters. 10/10 map
Origins- The first great quest map with 4 wonder weapons, debatably the best Map ever
Moon- Aged like fine wine. Although moon can be unforgiving and annoying its really unique and perfectly challenging. The EE is still the best
I go MOTD, Origins, and Ascention over moon but slightly
I agree woth the BO4 easter eggs getting away from being a zombies map for sure. I think Zetsubou is way to low though, one of my favorites all time.
Dead of the Night is a top ten map……., why does no one else see how good it is 😫
Cuz no ones played it tbh
I love the game play design of black ops one and two. The way that you use strafe jumps in those games is so smooth and satisfying. There’s just something about the way you move in those games that hits different.
CW still has the worst maps. But nothing beats Vanguard for the absolute worst
Bruh
Cold war is nowhere near the worst maps.
Tf you talking about Cold War has the most solid map lineup out of any game, not even a single map is controversial
“I think Tranzit is light years ahead of Vanguard zombies…”
this speaks volumes to how out of touch Activision is jesus christ
Idk I’d pay 100$ for that
Origins was for a long time the best zombie map I never played, I just watched the promotional videos from the in-game store and felt in love with it.
👌 Great video! 10/10.
Great video i would have 9 higher i love that map. Most played map on bo4
But this is my rating of all the black ops games (I have not played world at war and stuff so I can’t rank those)
1. Black Ops 3
2. Black Ops 2
3. Black Ops 1
4. Black Ops Cold War
5. Black Ops 4
Tbh I like all of these apart from bo4.
This will be my top
