- Here is a commentated film room analysis by Bait, of 5up and Kristofer Yee's recent gameplay in the "Offline TV" lobby. It's not as sweaty as the morning Hafu lobbies, which is why 5up was able to #SpeedRun this crewmate victory.

What makes the Rat's Gambit usually so balance is that it's Steve doing it and he rarely ever manages to see anything happen on cams.

As a long time viewer of the morning lobbies, hearing the rats gambit formalized as "the traditional rats gambit" is so weird to me. Nice touch on the definitions there.
I have an request for this series if you ever see this btw- exploring pairing/ with your impostor partner, analysing three games:
5up Dumbdog game which they each pair with a crew and hard accuse each other to get Steve voted out. (I think the best pair in terms of unpairing with each other is 5up-DD)
Hafu-Janet game where they pair up as impostors immediately and hard clear each other the whole way through for the win.
5up vs Chilled-Sips, after 7 where his impostor partner got voted out 5up as impostor called reactor and self-reported, blaming both Chilled and Sips as the impostor pair since they were heavily paired.
There is also many games where impostor pairs with crew (mutual hard clr), kills the crewmate to get the full clear for the rest of the game.

It definitely brings out the context of the gameplay and I actually learn a thing or two from the examples clip or from your explanation, like the one you did on Ray C (a recent video I think), or DK or Toast (this one is a bit longer, but I think the thumbnail is brown-ish). Also love your highlights too! (I just watched the recent one with Tina and Steve, that one is adorable, haha). Oh, another thing, love your kind-of-cartoonish thumbnails! They are cute imo. Keep up your good work!
How did they both not see 5up walking across from cams? At least Kris should've.

They couldn't do anything about it anyway. They were both on kill cooldown.
I think Kris and Wendy eere surrendering too fast. They even can potentially tied up vote. Caught in 4k does not mean the end if only one seeing it, and nobody can confirm the camera operator is indeed in camera. They can each claim to be the one in camera...
That’s true. But another thing I’ve realised is people usually don’t lie about things they’ve seen on cam. So it’s a super uphill battle - which needs both impostors to try 100%

@@AmongUsAcademy Agree but they threw in towel too fast, they should verify first whether somebody can confirm cam operator. If people trust too much on cam op, it would not be long before imp or jester would fake capture cams on solo crews and faking double kill 4k by crews and throw entire lobby in havoc. Also Toast previously caught Wolfabelle by lying about 4k capture.
@@aristo999999999 true. Lying about cams info is still super rare though - I hardly ever see it done (and that’s watching hours of streamer footage regularly).
I can relate to them throwing in the towel. It’s also embarrassing to keep playing and pretend you didn’t get caught red handed, I wouldn’t want to drag out the misery as Kris.
I thought the modified rats gambit was to be on cams with someone else or with someone else in the area that would look like they had been on cams. But run away to sacrifice the other when you see someone coming to check who is on cams. Then come around to catch the killer after the kill.
guess there's lots of modifications.
sad how the "traditional rats gambit" is now BANNED for being too OP in Hafu's lobbies.

That it was a really fast game?
yep - speed run essentially means very quick finish to a game, in this case 5up cracks the case and essentially wins in the first 00:37seconds

to explain a couple of concepts. This is NOT an original idea: There are other channels out there that also go over and commentate over 5up/Hafu etc. gameplay footage such as Havenfire here: ruclips.net/video/59X8L6pVbXI/видео.html - feel free him to check him out as well!
Just for the record, any video that has #FilmRoom or one of the "Coach/Lecturer" avatars in the thumbnails are ones that go over gameplay footage .
Holy fuck, I get you have to change content to an extent to make it unflagable/DMCA-able, but I literally had to mute the video bc the commentary x.x sorry, you seem nice and I like your voice, I just couldn't deal x.x
um... ok. Well I'd advise you NOT to watch any videos with a SIMILAR THUMBNAIL of a lecturer/professor/coach on the left side commentating on a replay.
This reminds me of a recent game I had where I played the rat's gambit and caught yellow killing on cams in boiler room, and ran down there to find cyan running away from the body! Wouldn't have won that one were it not for ruclips.net/video/YsAiq97ALn8/видео.html .
