The reason why we love Harvey is because he is loyal to the core and that’s all he expects from his peers in return. Mike was his protege that he sees mirrors him. The difference is mike has compassion. Having Mike around is Harvey’s daily reminder that he could be better too.

Harvey was wrong here, Katrina was frustrated because Harvey hired(quid pro quo) her and punished her by not giving her cases, all because Mike(crybaby) was upset that Katrina(back then ADA) offered he and Harvey a deal that kept their client from prison and Mike was angry because their client was guilty of the crime Mike hates with all his heart.

I d guess he lay out a challenge to her and she overcame it. Improve yourself or stagnate there... with the ulterior motive to get a better employee, a win for both , if you ask me, in the long run .

I gotta say, before watching Suits, I believed that getting fired is the rock bottom. After watching Suits, it's clear that's not true. Not being able to leave a job where your growth is stagnant or you can't break past a ceiling is way worse.
