- In this latest video, a couple rush a beautiful red kite in to the centre after they find it unconscious on their lawn!
Fearing the bird of prey had struck their window, they acted fast and luckily, after an examination from our vet team, it appeared that the bird just needed a good nights rest to recover.

Thanks for the support!
I like how Simon's sweater is full of fur, most probably from different types of animals
Haha, this is a daily occurrence, most likely dog hair from the two new additions to the family :D
@@wildlifeaid awww, that's cute
Hermoso!!
One of my favourite birds. They are just so beautiful. Thanks for helping him out.
Thanks for the support!
Was almost as if the bird was circling above to say thanks, but more than likely it was scanning for food or to get its bearings.
We like to think it was a thank you :D
Beautiful, just beautiful!! Thank you and God bless! ❤️💜💚
I've been watching and binging forever. This was my favorite happy ending.
Thanks for the support

Gorgeous bird!

I am soo jealous, what a magnificent bird WOW 😍 GOOD WORK 🙏 ✌️
I had a similar experience 2 days ago with a little black cap ( or similar looking bird ) that flew into my window ) very dazed 🥴 so I stayed with her for around an hour and happy to say she also flew off 🙂
What a beauty ❤️❤️❤️
Beautifull.
Thanks Waf team 👍
Magnificent !!
Such magnificent creatures... the way it flew out without hesitation!
A remarkable bird. To think they were extinct in England for over a century and only re-introduced about 30 years ago. The UK now has over 10,000 and a growing population.
Such a graceful bird.
Great rescue team!! What a beautiful bird 💕🦅
I absolutely LOVE watching the webcams on the Wildlife Aid website, the animals are so diverse and so unique even when they're the same species their individual character and personalities show! 😍😍 But the webcams on the Wildlife Aid website are all 'offline' at the moment, when will they be available again?🤔🤔🤞🤞❤❤
We love them too. Unfortunately we are in the few quiet months of the year at the moment. Although we're inundated with hedgehogs, we are unable to have them on the cameras as they are in individual cages. Orphan season is just around the corner, so it won't be too long until the fox and badger cubs are in! .
@@wildlifeaid The Brat Pack (My ferrets and eu polecats!) and I can't wait to see the baby foxes and badgers, obviously it should go without saying we'd prefer them all to be out in the wild with their mothers where they belong but if they do need to be in a wildlife sanctuary for a while I'm glad we can watch and learn from them on how to help others of their species if they're in trouble in the future!🤔🤔 Especially when learning how humans can NOT be a threat to our native wildlife!🤔🤔🤞🤞❤❤
Beautiful release for such a beautiful bird:) Thanks Simon
I'm glad you guys rescued this magnificent bird and made sure he recovered well
Beautiful. She is just gorgeous. And you are incredible ❤️
Magnificent creature.
He's a winner ( and you are too bad Simon ) Seriously ,recovery and release *👍
extraordinary creature, even on the screen, of course, only when WILD!
MAGNIFICENT, I catch the odd sight of a buzzard circling over our house (two years ago it was a couple) here in Southport. we do have kestrels and the ODD sparrow hawk... Not enough for my liking x
I just love the wonderful work you.do! A huge ThankYou!
^^ what a lovely birb. 🦅
Beautiful eyes
There is one that flies above the village where I live and I didn't realise they were that small ,they look loads bigger whilst in flight.
Right! This kite looks like a UK version of the US's red tailed hawk.
Aww, great job! Why can't birds see glass? I've been wondering that for a while.
I'll take "Because glass is virtually invisible" for 1000 Alex
It tends to be that the reflections on the glass, mirror the sky, therefore birds don't recognise it as a solid object.
I was just thinking about the number of times I ran into our sliding glass door as a kid!
The last time I saw a red kite was several summers ago and it was flying at a high altitude above my house and garden. I live in North West London and it was flying westwards.
So beautiful cool and calm kite lets you do your thing and feed him/her and more wonderful just awesome! I gave you the 500 like btw.. 👏
i see them every day outside my house beautiful
when he got up in the sky he was obviously thinking, yehoooooow
Simon resolution for 2020 organize and keep organized the car

ONELOVE FEATHERED ONES
I thought red kites live in Europe during the summer only?
@@hannahreynolds7611 Damn, that's really disheartening. Illegal poisoning and shooting of raptors, especially kites, also happen regularly in Germany. There was a case around where I live of a Red Kite losing his ability to fly after being shot through the wing. He lives in a zoo now and I believe he is part of a breeding programme.
😃👍
Did you see that tail action?
Is that a hawk?
can i move in?
