its crazy how the a380 stopped its being produced before the 747, even though the 747 is 3x the age of the a380. the 747 had a big impact on aviation
A380 already *out?*
@@ISA333.Yep, it ended production in 2021.
@@parislikesliners boeing annouced that they want to close the line in that year
When the 747 was conceived, "Airbus weren't a thing yet" and say if they wanted to make the a380 at the time of the a300 they would go bankrupt as that was a bold move as the conpany wasn't proven. The a380 was more expensive to build than the 747 but still the time it came was rather late and Boeing was focusing on making smaller widebodies.

So sad to watch the last 747. It is truly the end of the great era. But also, your editing has improved very much dude! And your channel has grown insanely! So happy to have been here since first 100 subs. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
My man is back!! Thanks!
The 747 was the plane that introduced me to aviation. It's worth mentioning how popular they were to see at airports years ago and now you're lucky if you see one fly over your house. Truly an awesome plane, RIP
This is truely a sad moment in aviation history, but also a happy one. They’re 50 years old, but are still strong. I love those jumbos, great planes.
I like ho there is positive music around this but there she goes the queen of the skies 😢
Now thats sad moment for aviation history. But the plane itself is amazing! Just bought a 1:50 scale paper model of it. It will be huge!
I already built that plane out of paper
I wasn’t crying my eyes were sweating when I saw this.
Hopefully that Airbus and Boeing would start considering of returning the 747 and the A380 soon in the future, and I hope to try flying on one of the 747's still on service.
I love the 747 it is beautiful. I’m hoping to get on the Lufthansa 747 service from ORD-FRA before it’s retired
So am I!!!
I am too!
bro lasted 55 yrs, complete gigachad plane. o7
NO, we are not losing a legend.
The 747 is my favorite plane! I’m sure gonna miss it. 😢
Saw this in a news post on my Google feed , I feel very sad for this jumbo jet , Bye Bye 747
Two of my cousins (Elliot & Ruth Handler junior) along with Mattel Aeronautics are working on the design of a smaller scale, ten seater 747 executive jet as we currently lament the discontinuation of this fine passenger aircraft. The upper deck will not be able to seat human passengers as too much headroom would be required, and so a build in that "big top" shape would be unrealistic. Instead, the upper deck will additionally seat Barbie and her friends doll collection passengers, so that the children of the mega-rich can fly their dolls around the globe, in absolute first class comfort and in classy (Boeing 747) style. It will seat a total of ten humans and ten dolls with a basic crew complement of two doll pilots. So, I can tell you that this executive jet will be THE VERY FIRST remote pilot passenger aircraft. Two Barbie doll pilots will be seated up front (Capt. Skipper & First Officer Ken) but only so that the human passengers can feel comfortable with two pilots "up front". ALL handling will be managed via satellite uplink/downlink using a remote AI system integrated into the jets system. There will be an emergency backup pilot (able to remotely take over should the AI system crash) on the ground at the base. The control center will be located in Bangalore, India. Impressed? Wait'll you see the completed test prototype when it's put through its test flight paces early in 2023.
Even i'm crying. Respect to the 747. You will nevr be forgotten.😊
we will miss you old friend
So sad to see the queen of sky's be done. I hope to never see that day of the 747 being extinct.
I’m so glad you grew from your air plane slander and the ripping apart of thr mega plane idea to this lovely consistent content. I LOVE seeing your community posts in my feed. Even tho I know nothing of airlines, I can still get the jokes >:3
Well I only saw that other slanders were blowing up, so I thought I would try that and it worked. I always was passionate for all aircraft, the slanders don’t depict the person I am lol.
@@ice711real hi, how are you
The scene with the A380 lmao. Truly sad to see the end of an era.
Long live the queen
Long live
Note : The Boom Overture will be the LAST quad jet
The end of an era starts. Honestly the Queen of aviation changed the world. What will be the next queen of aviation. What will happen?
The 747 has Always been my favourite airplane even before I knew how old it was sad to see the last one ever
Suddenly turns into A380 slander lmao
10 years later: today we will show a 747 but with triple 7 engines!!!
The a380 is such a good plane

It’s so sad to watch an legendary aircraft go 😢 rest in peace 747, I am still hoping to see it some day
You know, eventually, single engine aircraft might become the future, and we Will miss the 777, 737 Max, A350 and 787. How odd.
I'm not sure if single engine jets will have enough thrust to take off and maintain altitude 🤔
They really they had a long run, but I really think they could keep manufacturing them to be honest. They will go down as MY favorite plane
We shall always remember these colossal giants🥲🥲🥲
all the best things must come to an end 😔😔😔
Let's appreciate Lufthansa for keeping the quadjets alive...
It's truly sad to see such a legendary aircraft being retired out of production. My experiences on it were great.
end of an era
A380 is just a little child but 747 was only plane that every child see in his/her mind even in movies there is 747 A380 is big in capacity but 747 is big in love #we love boeing 747

you will always be remembered boeing 747
R.I.P Queen of the skies.
1969-2023 we will miss the good old queen of the skies.
Salute!
End of a memorable era.
Sad how most non-avgeeks won't even know that the thing that everyone thinks about when they hear "aircraft" has finally been discontinued.
I feel as if they probably wouldn't care, either.
Ie711:"There is nothing like the 747"
the British ripoff : "WATCH ME"
I don't know why people like the A380 so much, the 747 looks so much better.
I agree, but I do also really like the A380
@@ice711real The a380 is also a grand airplane, I wanna travel in that too but the B747 just looks more satisfying idk why tho. Also, i have heard the the a380 windows are really bad.
Both are grand airplanes but the 747 is just grander(that's very wrong english!!!)
@@aravchhabra1608 That's true, A380 windows are quite small, I've made numerous videos abojt touring the inside of A380 cabins in Google Earth.
@@ice711real Yup, loved those videos
Honestly I was born after a380 so idc which goes first
IM NOT CRYING UR CRYING 😢😢😢. IM SO SO SO SAD TO SEE THE MIGHTY QUEEN OF THE SKIES GO!!! DIDNT EVEN GET TO FLY ON 1 AND I ONLY SAW HER IRL JUST ONCE (THAI 747-400 IN BANGKOK ON VACATION WHILE FLYING ONE OF ITS REPLACEMENTS THE 787)
Noooooooooooooooo the boeing 747 was my favourite plane 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔😔
It's hard to believe that this plane was originally built in 1966 and it got so many versions
No one cares about the A380. Say it proudly. 2:17
Rip 747 they aren’t making any more..
Goodbye 747, we'll miss u 😭😭
Also take REALLY good care of this 'last' 747F Atlas Air, don't do anything wrong with this plane 😄😄
kinda sad to see the last 747 this plane probly being the best plane compared to a380 prob because its flew farther
Great video as always
Ok its sad to see it go but, can you pls not make fun of the A380 its my 3rd fav
o7 747 we'll miss you 😥😥
This is a very sad moment in aviation, hopefully the A380 (and A340) will be around for much longer...
A380 has already been out of production for 2 years, and a340 production has been halted for over a decade now.
@@ice711real I'm aware, I was talking about passenger services.
I will miss the 747
The last one.
The best era has ended
RIP B747
Ngl it would be cool to imagine a 3 engine 747 (obviously with more powerful and fuel efficient engines)
It's so sad
I always wanted to fly on it
I love 747
How are they gonna takeoff the plane like this ???🤔🤔🤔
thx a lot for including lion air flight610 you guys might not belive this but flight 610 came from my country im indonesian and the flights also indonesian

It is a sad day for all of us in aviation as this legend is put to rest.o7
RIP.
The Quiet
ERA is here
kinda sad seeing my favorite aircraft getting discontinued
My first time see the Boeing 747 is after this video was made 4 month-
And I was from Vietna-
Long live the queen 😢
they shouldve gave it to Lufthansa, instead of a boring cargo airline
Never flown a 747 in 10 years since I started travelling
never going on air china, i dont want the made in china plane to 737 max on me
2:14 real
Hey Ice, did you film the video at the start?
No, check description
Time marches on. Maybe we’ll see the day of commercial aviation with fuselages that aren’t shaped like tubes.
Don’t get me wrong though chief, there will always be a special place in my mind for the Queen of the Skies.
Goodbye queen,we will see the second somewhere
At least Queen of The Skies will meet with Queen Elizabeth II in heaven. RIP you two, always will be in our hearts (0:50 get rekt Lion Air tho lol)
WAIT THERES NO MORE 747?
It is sad to see such a legendary airliner just go off the factory like nothing and u know in India news channel were doing live streaming when the last 747 was rolled out of the factory and last delivery from Boeing. What are you're thoughts on it Ice?
It is pretty sad indeed, could’ve gone at least a decade more of production surely.
@@ice711real yup. Here is my not to Boeing: Dear Boeing can just make twin engine 747SP instead of that quad engine 747SP bc it is too small ig for a quad engine right???
This is just sad cuz the 747 is my most favorite airliner
No more 2 levels aircraft! me😢😢
Cmooon A380 isn't that bad. Tho Rip The superjumbo era, the 747 was the first double decker plane while the A380 was the first Full double decker. Still the 747 and A380 will fly for a long time. Ofc 747 will last longer as a frieghter.
I wish Boeing would make a 747 twin 😔
Plot twist: Lufthansa, Mahan air, Asiana Airlines and Air China Still flew the 747.
Marks the end of an era...
Truly
The 747 8 also has the same engine as to 787
I don't want 747s to be retired
Its so sad to see it go
Ice711 I need your help lol so the like counter was 666 and then i liked but then my laptop immediately locked itself out this may be sign...
Fun fact: Korean Air is getting rid of THEIR 747's in 2031, while the Korean Air A380's are leaving the airline in 2026.
1:51 I REALLY WISH THE INDUSTRY STAYED D SAME FOREVER!
