- A close up look of the interior and exterior of the Boeing 747-400 Dreamlifter (Large Cargo Freighter). Boeing Dreamlifter staff explained the design and operations of the Dreamlifter. The Boeing Dreamlifter is designed to transport B787 parts from suppliers to Boeing Everett and Charleston plant. Take a look how it carry all the Boeing 787 components to build the B787 Dreamliners.

I must apologize that the music became unintentionally loud towards the end of the video. This was a mistake made on the editing part and without final checking. Sadly once the video is uploaded and live, I can't change it or lower it. My sincere apologies for this unintended mistake to our viewers. I have uploaded subtitles, please turn on the subtitles to view these affected part.
Mistakes were made but...
Apologies accepted
They are awesome.
Given that everything else you do is perfect. We will ignore the error 😁
Hodge Conjecture it’s carry parts for the 787. It’s the 737 MAX that is currently grounded due to two crashes.
with sub titles on it s fine, Sam ;)
Friend: so what’s your job?
Me: *i use the Boeing to transport the Boeing*
Long before Airbus built the Beluga, they had to use Boeing built planes to transport their plane parts.

I watch 74 Gear with Kelsey. I believe he is contracted to fly the Dreamlifter for Boeing. If you can fly a plane the size of the Dreamlifter then you can fly practically any airplane ever built. Kelsey is a great guy and really enjoy “74 Gear”. A plug for Kelsey’s Channel!
I mean well he flies the 747, which is longer, has a longer wingspan, and has a heavier max takeoff weight. I’m sure the dreamlifter will be a piece of cake for him

I just came back 2 days ago from Everett. When I arrived and parked my car at Future of flight just besides Boeing factory I noticed that the Dreamlifter was parked exactly there, just a few feet away from me. The aircraft was just a few minutes from taking off!! I waited for about 10 minutes and then the airplane went to the other side of the runway and I saw the airplane taking off. One amazing and very unique experience indeed.
Yea it's a big son of a gun. in fact check out this video when I caught it at Paine Field. ruclips.net/video/Pzsz3tiLjiA/видео.html
So this is what you get when the Antonov An-225 and the 747 fall in love.
Nah not the AN-225, more like the beluga
Quit giving this guy hell over the music, he has apologized about a BILLION TIMES it was an editing error GROW TF UP PEOPLE REALLY......great video btw
You are right
FlyboythaACE Even if the music was not loud it sucks so bad. He deserves to be criticized for doing such a terrible job.
FlyboythaACE I agree , anyone who can get the access Sam does and thinks they can do a better job grab a camera and go for it. If I had the money I’d spend my days just travelling the world.
Steve Perreira The music was ok lol shut up dude
Shut Up haters, this is his passion. He is just making videos aboit aviation. Do you think theres something wrong about that? ITS JUST AN EDITING ERROR BRUH.
That’s where all the Boeing Planes are made and kept in storage or on the tarmac for airlines before they come to get their new airplanes and take them home for the first time! All of those planes will eventually fly thousands to millions of passengers a year which is super inspiring! It’s also emotional seeing them fly from Seattle from the BOEING FACTORY AIRPORT for the first time but then you are happy for them too!!!
Boeing actually used the Dreamlifters to transport medical supplies around the world at the beginning of the pandemic. All hands on deck!
I’m at the arrival parking lot at Charleston international Airport and I just looked up and saw the biggest plane I have ever seen in my life and it says dream lifter on it. Then I went online to research it. Which brought me to this video. If you have not seen this plane in person it’s something amazing to look at. It is freaking enormous
Enormous and ugly Af
I just saw it fly over my house and did the same thing
I'm watching flight radar right now and it's landing in Charleston lol
“In theory protect the pilot”
Lol. Unless you're a pilot.
In practice however, ....... 😆😆😆😆😆
They don't practice that...
I was at Charleston SC about one month ago and i see DREAMLIFTER in action taking off .
Great video sam. Thanks
This is the plane that will be carrying important equipment for the fight to rid the country of COVID-19. Move that equipment to where it’s needed! Let’s do this!

WOW That is an amazing airplane.
I have been inside of 747 cargo planes many years ago, which was amazing to see how huge they are inside and always impressive seeing them taking off when fully loaded.
The Dreamlifter is truly incredible inside and out it's amazing to think that something so huge can actually fly👍🙂

Thanks Sam for the informative video. I am a former F/A for Eastern Airlines 1976 to 1989 and trained SEL pilot from the 60's and 70's learned to fly before I was legal to drive. I love keeping up on all things that fly. Thanks again for all your work I do appreciate.

Say what you want about Sam chui, but this is a unique type of content no one else can bring.
My son flies with Atlas and along with their regular 747 freighters, he flew these behemoth birds, too. My granddaughter was able to video him landing in Charleston a few years ago bringing 787 wings to the Boeing facility there
Fascinating behind the scenes! Thanks for sharing!
I have a plush Dreamlifter that I bought from Japan. Watching this while holding it lol. I love this plane.
It is amazing that that aircraft can actually fly being so large and heavily modified.
Seen the Airbus Beluga? The largest air freighter in the world.

What a beauty! I love all the versions of the Boeing 747! Neither do I. At least the 747-8F will be flying another couple decades.

Amazing they can modify almost any plane to meet specific requirements.
Looks much nicer than the Beluga. Thanks for sharing.
Totally brilliant Sam, thank you for bringing to us.
Nice video however it would have have been interesting if we could have seen inside the front of the aircraft and had a good look around rather than just the cargo area.

1. France surrenders like it's a race.
2. The sidestick actually has led to several crashes because of their poor design. One notable one was AF447, an A330-200.
3. Airbus really isn't great. Their aircraft look HORRIBLE, especially the neos.

Sam,
Thank you! I appreciate this video! Need a longer more in depth follow up of the Everett Boeing factory. I remember going up there back in 2001 from Seattle and getting a nice tour. Way to brief!
