I was a ride/coaster mechanic for SFA in’99-2000 season. I really do miss the Ole 2 face…. Despite her occasional issues she had every so many cycles. It was like every 100 sum cycles, when she would release the train off lift hill 2…. The train would disappear in the computer, and when the train would go back up lift hill 1 she wouldn’t catch it to bring it back in the station. The train would just roll back and forth through the station and partially back up to the boomerang and lift 1 until one of mechanics got there to hit the brakes.
They need to do more suspended boomerangs. I remember getting on this when it 1st opened . Too bad they removed it. Was one of best few Rollercoasters that they had at that six flags lol.
That was literally the scariest ride I have ever been on because my overhead harness was loose!! It had too much give and I couldn't get it to lock any tighter and I thought I was going to die!
@@theendofanerror4173 It was never that rough but unfortunately the park didn't take care of it resulting in several malfunctions leading to it's eventual removal less than a decade after opening.

I remember when SFA had this ride but i was too short to ride it. But i enjoyed the theme to two face and the screams on the ride.

I never thought so. Sure there was shaking but it wasn't rough enough to complain about.
From what I hear, the one at Kings Island is still pretty decent. I can’t imagine these were too bad.
