I know the price of remap varries from model to model, but can we have a rough idea of it? stage 1/2/3/4 4. What's the max HP this 2.0 TSI can produce, i saw a video of AutotopNL he drove a 700hp RS3 engine swapped in a Superb n it was doing 300+ like a piece of cake, no stress whatsoever. 5. how much does the fuel efficiency increase in lower rpms after the remap? 6. On our Stage 1 Tunes all cars will pass Emission Tests. Price depends on your end goal, the platform and various other things. Our cheapest remaps start at 20k and can go upto 3-4L for a tune. An EA888 Gen3 can push around 600HP on our Dyno on a stock block. Upto 750HP on a built block. We've already built an Audi TT pushing out 600HP. RS3 engine is a 5 cylinder 2.5L engine and is probably the best tuner friendly engine made in the VAG line-up. FE depends on your driving style and driving conditions. Turbos are always more fun than a SC.
Good video as usual , had to watch it couple of times to grasp all the information. I had couple of questions :: -> what is Lamda significance and we keep it "1" in lower revs ? -> Can you make a video and bust some myths on "claimed high HP gains" in NA engines ? -> Can you help educate folks on how to actually make any significant HP gains with NA engines.
Lambda is basically how we quantify Air-Fuel-Ration (AFR). A good place to start would be the Wiki below to get a basic understanding. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air-fuel_ratio To bust the myths on NA engines we will need some NA cars and tuners willing to provide their tunes for FREE. Or customers with NA Tuned cars volunteering to Dyno their cars and allow us to flash their cars back to stock. Slim chances of either. Honest advice, just stop trying to mod an NA engine.
We've already made a reel on our Instagram page covering this topic. We love the EQT Vortex turbos and we'll be doing a build on a 230 very soon. You cannot beat the reliability and performance of those turbos.
As a tuning firm, comparing our work against our competitors publicly would be unethical unless the representatives from the other firm were also around while the testing is happening.
Hey Rahul, are the new EA888 Gen 4 engines better at tune-ability than these Gen 3b engines? Do the EA888 Gen 4 engines have a lower compression ratio similar to the engines found in the Vrs230/ Audi 45 Tsi etc. ?
The Gen4 engines sold in these newer cars in India, just seem to be updated Gen3B engines with a few updated parts from the Gen4s sold abroad. This still run very high compression and will react similarly to the Gen3B engines. We don't see these making more power than the Gen3Bs around.
What is the possibility of remapping the Korean 1.5 TGDIs? (Not sure if India gets the 1.5 G4LH and G4FS) and what is the maximum torque the D7UF1/D7F34 Dry Clutch DCT handle (without reliable issues) ? Will you be coming out with a remap for the above engine + gearbox combination? Thanks
