I sold my H90 (and a few other things) to get an FM9 recently, was frustrated by the difficulty editing from the box itself (for me that's the only point of having a hardware box). Was a little disappointed at first to find the FM9 only allowed one pitch block, but you can do a decent amount with it. Can't quite duplicate everything the H90 can do because the H90 pitch stuff has such low latency and can run more at once in terms of pitch specific effects. But I'm still happy with being able to edit on the FM9 and obviousely the FM9 is super flexible in ways nothing else is (Except other fractal stuff)

You're Fractal Blocks Library for pitch were choice...amazing to me just how much ground that the pitch block can cover; Dual Detune Delays as you showed, can work for a clean or a lead tones. I have always wondered about some of the more iconic Eventide patches thiat I never got to try.
I also wanted to ask if the Marble Reverb you referenced in the video was not available for the FM9? I coudn't find it on my FM9 and I did not see it in your block reverb library.
Thank you for the hard work Leon-you give much and ask for nothing.

I'm using the latest public beta for the Axe-Fx. I imagine those new verbs will be added to the FM9 once the III firmware gets a full release.

for the POG style effects, do you think it's worth running the pitch block in parallel before the amp block ?
or is there no real gain/discernible difference in doing so (more hassle with levels)

    • @LeonTodd

Probably more useful if you want the pitch and filter block together in parallel to the dry

There's guitars that allow this, but it requires picking up every string separately. I think it's otherwise basically impossible to do this sadly
