    Just got a 125, first ever ride on a scooter or motorbike, picked it up in central London, UK. Wonderful machine, after ten minutes, I wasn't in total fear of my life in the London traffic, and learned to control the bloody thing. An afternoon later, in an empty car park, and my turning circle has halved. Great fun bike.

    Hi warro, can't beat having a scooter in the garage, absolutely worth every penny, so practical I've always had one in my garage, use everyday for my commute to work. Really don't know why more people don't have them here in the UK, best thing about them is you don't get wet feet when it's raining and must not forget the storage cability under the seat great for your gear, keep up the good work matey. 😄

      well i wouldn't say the scooter idea was a favourite choice of mine until i actually got on one and tried it...lol following that experience i must admit they are far better than i thought so i moved up the the 350 version.
      find it has plenty of go and because i live in such hilly country i really require at least one bike which will pull good hills
      this scooter does just that and does it very easy plus i like the screen idea too. well worth the 3 month wait to get hold of it and i think i'll do some good long rides on it too

    Good review Warro. I have the same bike from April last year, 9000kms on it. I had a 300 forza before that, 40,000kms on that in 20 months. Didn’t miss a beat. Before that2019 pcx which was great bike, but u go out of town, then u need a bit more power. Pcx200 would be ideal. 👍😁

    I bought the black one in Thailand for around 7,200 AUD (173,500 Thai Baht). I could ride at 120-130 km/h with no trouble. The display is actually 10 km/h too fast compared to Google Map GPS. Regardless of its stiff shock up, It's the best scooter I have.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      i too think its avery good scooter but still running it in so have not exceeded 100 kph. did you notice much difference changing the stock shocks in different setting positions
      have you thought about a rear shock upgrade plus i've been told different weights in the variator make them move along even better

    • @zKonGz
      @zKonGz 3 года назад

      @@ridewithwarro I have never configured my stock shocks, but I think I should try number 4 for heavier loads because I started to hear some spring noises on deep bumps. I am saving up to get a pair of Ohlins rear shocks which costs around 870 AUD here. I am also going to get the Pirelli Angel Scooter tires for smoothness and durability. A pair would cost 230 AUD including a tire balancing service. It's still too early to ditch the existing ones though. I might delay my purchase a bit.

    Very nice choice to compare these two bikes. Not many reviews do that even though they are rather similar. I eventually settled for the pcx160 and for the exact reason you pointed out - i live in a city and hardly do long road trips. Having a fuel economy of 45km/l is also a good thing when fuel prices are so high. The forza would be more attractive if its fuel economy could be closer to a pcx160, especially since some of the newer hybrid cars are achieving fuel efficiencies that are close to the forza’s fuel consumption.

    I had pcx 125. Was brilliant and fun. I now have xmax300 which is much more relaxing to ride. One of, if not the best bike I have ever owned. Motor is smooth at any speed. Only time you feel motor is at idle. I did a trip from UK to the alps on a bmw 1000 and I wish I.d had the max. More comfy and relaxing to ride. At legal speeds anyway. And the transmission is sublime. Engine never feels like it is working hard. The forza will be the same. 👍

    That is a great review of a scooter that I had never heard of before. Thanks. It looks like you still have plenty of revs left on the tach at 100 kph. I bet it will top out at 130-140 kph. What sort of brake-in regimen is Honda looking for on the Forza? I love that power windshield, if you want one on a BMW motorcycle you you need to buy a $25K USD RT tourer. It looks like the weather protection in the wet would be pretty good, too. Tracking down that vibration is likely not going to be easy if it is coming from a loose fairing part.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      Thanks RH. going on how well it performsat 60 mph/100 kph i'd say it would easily hit the 140 kph top speed not sure how much faster -if at all.
      never check the ownersmanual on the run-in but i'd say keep it under 100 kph for the first 1000 klm
      windsvreen is great and in high mode offers very good protection from the wind and on the day it was cold and windy.
      i let the dealer look into the vibes. it may be plastic or something common on that motor. best of all its not there above that 40/50 kph mark

    Seems a good compromise. The 650s and 750 scooters are fast but a lot lot more expensive and a lot heavier. This 350 seems a good compromise. I don't know why scooters are not more popular than motorbikes. On my motorbike, if I want to pick up some food or fish and chips on the way home, I can't do it. You can on this tho.

      well worth thinking about if one is in the market for an alternate set of wheels and your right- hard to beat the underseat storage area too

    I wouldn't be happy with that vibe mate - hoping there's an easy fix for you.
    Maybe it's just the camera but the suspension looks "crashy" on bumps - I expect that on the smaller scoots but would hope for more sorted suspension up the range.
    I have an 18 model PCX 150 and it is a filtering weapon in the inner city.
    I also have an 18 model Kymco AK 550 and the engine is a real peach with power on tap at any speed - from off at the lights to crucially, 80-130 for overtaking.
    I have toured it from Sydney to Port Douglas with just a top box and a single gym bag strapped to the rear seat.
    The only issue I have is not being able to fit a phone holder and some hooks like I have on the 150 for shopping bags :-)
    Enjoy your new ride mate!!

      i be checking in with the local dealer shortly as i have a 300L arriving soon so i can tell him about the vibe issue encountered.
      probably a bit on the crashy side but i've run that same road on many new bikes and some have been pretty bad there..lol saying that later i might do a rear suspension upgrade as over-all its a pretty goo scooter to ride with good power
      i actually thought about the AK550 too and even inquire at the closest dealer. only drama the dealer is 110 klm away and i'd have to travel for services so i decided to go more local.
      the AK550 i think are very good value too. i think i was quoted under $13 ride away and far cheaper than a Yamaha 560
      it appears you have been on some good runs too. i think i can get used to riding a scooter too

      pretty comfortable to ride and i think the stock suspension is ok-not the best but i've been on far worse bikes

    Great video mate. I was in between pcx160 and forza350. My aim is for pure joy and maybe sometimes ride to work and back about 35km tops. Living in Northern suburbs of Melbourne and roads around have 80km limit mostly. The thing bugging me will I need this power later if I buy pcx . But pcx has lower seat and fuel economy and 3 grand cheaper.

    • @ridewithwarro
      @ridewithwarro  2 года назад +2

      you probably saw my clip when i bought the pcx160 -really nice bike and i think a fair bit smoother to ride than the 350. runs along easy at 80 to 100 kph on flat ground. got to work it harder to pull hills.
      i live in a fairly hilly area and the 160 lacked the power to keep me up with traffic and i'd say some hills i dropped a good 20 kph
      so i upped the pace to the forza 350.
      now the 350 has a great power winscreen and to cruise along at 100 kph or pull a very steep hill at the same speed is very very easy. plus you'd still have 50 kph left in reserve...lol
      my thoughts would be if the pcx is tops on your budget buy it and you'll be happy. if yo can go the distance - just to the forza 350- you'll be very happy!
