Alhamduillaah as a revert, my friends and I follow the path of the salaf, it’s authenticity and purity in its knowledge, not the watered down and fabricated versions ppl have added to our blessed deen AFTER Allaah swt PERFECTED our religion for us. And still ppl want to fight with the same of ‘salafiyaah’ hear what: don’t watch or worry about us but rather look to yourselves and what it is your following and understanding and then it’s all good isn’t it 😂
Every muslim should ideally follow the salaf. However, creating a new group and calling themselves salafi is an innovation and creates division within the ummah.
*_The best solution for humanity is prescribed in the Noble Quran and the authentic 'Sunnah' and the 'Manhaj' of the 'Salaf As-Saleh'. Anyone deviating from it will neither find solace nor peace. May Allah protect us from rejecting Islamic values. Those who follows the Salaf AsSaleh will call themselves Muslims._*
اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ I'm very impressed with your breakdown of the question and the clear manner in which you have tackled this مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّٰهُ I look forward to seeing more of your videos. May you be rewarded for the knowledge you're sharing.
There was no group calling themselves as the Salafiyyun till about 200 years back. The entire Ummah was on the taqleed of the Aimmah Mujtahideen - the 4 schools of thought. viz. Shafiee, Hanafi, Maliki, Hanbali. This was considered unanimously by the Scholars of Islam for over a thousand years to ensconce the way of the Ahle Sunnah wal Jamaah - the saved sect (firqatun naajiyah). A few self seeking charlatans who emerged from the Ummah 200 years back and after have attempted to hijack Islam. They are increasingly showing the traits of the Khawaarij and mutilating the pure Islam that was extant in the Ummah till this time. The alluring and trick language the so called Salaafiyyah use to trap the innocent and uninitiated Muslims into believing they are following Islam in its pristine purity has caused havoc, untold damage and confusion in the ranks of the Muslims to the extent the very foundations of Islam are being threatened by this bunch of shenanigans. Hundreds have left Islam and become murtad due to this. May Allah save this Ummah from the vicious tentacles of this deviated group

Am a revert but some Muslims have already started asking me where I do belong. I never knew that Islam has groups like christians. Bro thanks 🙏🏽 u simplified everything
Brother, the in an authentic hadith, the Prophet SAW said (paraphrasing); that Jews were divided in 71 sects/groups, Christians were divided in 72 sects and My Ummah will be divided in 73. All in hell except one, so the companions asked which one o Messenger of Allah, so prophet answered those who follow me and my companions. So it's clear that the Muslims will divide as Prophet said, it's upon us to see whether we're following that which prophet said or not..

The best of People. As Salaf us Saalih. Salafiyyah follow the best of People. Muslims today have in fighting the splitting up into sects as has been mentioned by the prophet. The Salafi Manhaj is the Strange way now. Narrated Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood: “Indeed, Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange just as it began, so glad tidings of paradise be for the strangers.” In Another Hadith: Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Islam began as a something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.” Source: Sahih Muslim 145

For those people who want a clear cut answer...ISIS was a group of salafis people. Modern Salafism is filled with extremism and ISIS is a good example of that and also modern salafism is influenced somehow by al saud family for political benefits And the big problem with the salafism is that it is filled with sectarianism, ego, jealousy and feeling superior and looking down upon other people and scholars
@ahmadromadhon5455 during the initial war in Iraq and Syria, the Salafi followers were in total support of ISIS. Therefore the group was known to be influenced by the idealogy of Salafism but that's not the case now as many Salafi people today think that they're khawarij because of their Western influence or indulge in unethical and un-Islamic activities that go against the Salafi ideas a, but I suppose people cannot run from the past. Muslims know that ISIS was a hoax even before during civil war and the links of al-Baghdadi with Mosaad, but do you want to know what real fitna is, the Pseudo Salafi movement started by Sheikh Wahab in Saudi Arabia and the making of Saudi Arabia in retaliation with their Turkish brother(Ottomans) with the help of kufar Britain. The reason for the sufferings of millions of people in Palestine and over the Globe. That's what real Fitnah is!!
🤦♂️ ISIS are khawriji, as much as they claim or what google claims they obviously do not follow the Quran and sunnah and companions and three generations onwards. Because if they did they wouldn’t be Jahil and spreading corruption throughout the land
I was born in Pakistan and most mosques follow Brailvey people think any one other that Brailvey way are wrong. Than I moved to UK and mosques are quite multi cultural where all sects pray together and I started learning about and all other Sunni sects and found there is nothing wrong with any of them they are all following the five pillars of Islam. May be some doing slightly differently way but are all muslims. We should just call ourselves just muslims and refrain from using Brailvey, Salafi, wahani, deobandi terms to identify us.
The issue with these sects is not the way they worship but rather their aqeedah is currupted. The Deobandi sect is closely tied to the Sufi sect and both of them do shirk in the form of grave worship and a lot of bid'ah. The Barelvi sect is based on Sufism as well and was created by the British imperialists when they colonised India in an attempt to divide the Muslim ummah. The Deobandi sect rejects some of the attributes of Allah s.w.t. and for that we should not associate with them. We do not say they are disbelievers, rather they are believers but their aqeedah has some incorrect elements to it.
@@watchtime9072 I'm not a Wahhabi and I never identified as one. I'm a Muslim, full stop. What I said about the other sects isn't something I came up with. It is what the scholars and the people of knowledge said about those sects. Deobandis: They follow the Maturidiyyah aqeedah with some practices taken from Sufism. The Maturidiyyah are one of the groups whose opinions include true and false views, and some things that go against the Sunnah. It is known that these groups vary with regard to the truth, how near or far they are; the closer they are to the Sunnah, the closer they are to the truth and the right way. Among them are some who went against the Sunnah with regard to basic principles, and some who went against the Sunnah with regard to more subtle issues. There are some who refuted other groups who are farther away from the Sunnah, so they are to be praised with regard to their refutation of falsehood and what they have said of truth, but they have overstepped the mark in so far as they have rejected part of the truth and gone along with some falsehood. So they have refuted a serious bid’ah by means of a lesser bid’ah, and refuted falsehood with a lesser form of falsehood. This is the case with most of the philosophers (ahl al-kalam) who claim to belong to Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah…” (From the words of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, al-Fatawa, 1/348) Sufis: This is what was agreed upon by the Standing Committee in their answer to a question about the ruling on the Sufi tariqas that exist nowadays. They said: “Usually those that are called Sufis nowadays follow bid’ahs (innovations) that constitute shirk, as well as other kinds of bid’ah, such as when some of them say “Madad ya sayyid (Help, O Master)”, and call upon the qutubs (“holy men”), and recite dhikr in unison using names which Allah has not called Himself, like saying “Huw, Huw (He, He)” and “Ah, Ah (a contraction of the word ‘Allah’)”. Whoever reads their books will be aware of many of their innovations that constitute shirk, and other evils.” Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The words al-faqr and al-tasawwuf (i.e., Sufism ) may include some things that are loved by Alaah and His Messenger, and these are things that are enjoined even if they are called faqr or tasawwuf, because the Quran and Sunnah indicate that they are mustahabb and that is not altered if they are called by other names. That also includes actions of the heart such as repentance and patience. And it may include things that are hated by Allah and His Messenger, such as some kinds of belief in incarnation and pantheism, or monasticism that has been innovated in Islam, or things that go against shari’ah and have been innovated, and so on. These things are forbidden no matter what names they are given… And it may include limiting oneself to a certain style of clothing or certain customs, ways of speaking and behaving, in such a way that anyone who goes beyond it is regarded as an outsider, although this is not something that has been stipulated in the Quran or Sunnah; rather it may be something that is permissible or it may be something that is makruh, and this is a bid’ah that is forbidden. This is not the way of the friends of Allah (awliya Allah); such things are innovations and misguidance that exist among those who claim to follow the Sufi path. Barelvi: The founder called himself Abd al Mustafa. End of discussion on this one. But if you want to know, here are some of their twisted beliefs. He was one of the misguided extremists. He used to say: “When you are confused, seek help from the occupants of the graves.” In his extreme exaggeration about the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he said: “The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is in control everywhere; he is the king of earth and the sovereign of mankind.” And he said: “O Muhammad, I cannot say that you are Allah and I cannot differentiate between you and Him; your matter is for Him to judge, for He knows best what you really are.” And he said: “Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, gave the one who brought the Qur’an, our master Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), everything that is in al-Lawh al-Mahfooz.” And he said: “The Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is light from the Light of Allah, and all of creation comes from his light.” Amjad ‘Ali, one of their leaders, said: “The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is a deputy of Allah with complete authority, and the entire universe is under his control. So he does whatever he wants, he gives whatever he wants to whoever he wants, he takes whatever he wants, and there is no one in the universe who can alter his rule. He is the master of humans and whoever does not make him his sovereign is deprived of the sweetness of the sunnah.” And he said: “Those who reject seeking help from the Prophets and saints and from their graves are heretics.” Some of their bid'ah: 1. The belief that the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is alive 2. The belief that the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is present and can see what is happening, especially immediately after Jumu‘ah prayer. 3. The belief that the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) will definitely intercede for them. 4. They believe in the awliya’ (“saints”) and the occupants of graves, and they pray at their graves and ask them to meet their needs. 5. They build domes over graves and put lights in them. 6. They are known to say “Ya Rasool, Ya Muhammad (O Messenger, O Muhammad) (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). 7. They get angry with the one who says Ameen out loud and raises his hands when praying, and they regard him as a Wahhaabi. 8. They find it very strange when the siwaak is used at the time of prayer. 9. They kiss their fingers during wudoo’, at the time of the adhaan, and after prayer. Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: What is the ruling on praying behind an imam from the Bareilawi sect, who believes that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is alive and present and can see us? He replied: If they believe that, then they have gone against ijmaa‘ (consensus of the ummah), and if they seek his help, then that is shirk, so it is not permissible to pray behind them". Last but not the least, Wahhabism. I do not know of any people who identify as Wahhabi. Rather, from what I know, it is a false label ascribed to devout Muslims in an attempt to tarnish the works of Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abd al Wahhab rahimahullah, and this is being repeated nowadays with Shaykh Rabee al Madkhali may Allah s.w.t. preserve him, where he is being falsely accused of creating a new sect with teachings not from the sunnah (all those are lies in the case of both scholars). For example, Wikipedia will tell you that 45% of Emiratis are "Wahhabi" (I'm not sure if that misinformation is still out there), but I can tell you after living in the UAE for 13 years that I haven't seen a single Muslim in the UAE identify as Wahhabi. Rather, they identify as Muslims and are very devout in terms of following the Qur'an and sunnah and they follow the manhaj of ahl al sunnah wal jama'ah. Note that using the label Wahhabi is a sin because you are dividing yourself from the ummah and it constitutes sectarianism.
@@spartanbeast3575good response brother but some of your points are more allocated possibly to certain individuals or groups within the Barelvi’s and not at them as a whole. I think social media has been both beneficial and destructive in regards to those wanting to seek knowledge. Some scholars I had the chance to meet who are renowned within sham yet are unknown to the world are 3Ashari/Hanafi/Shafi3 and follow the path of tasawuf. I am talking about Muhaditheen/Fuqaha who have dedicated 30, 40, 50+ years in seeking knowledge. Think of the status Allah has blessed them with vs the average laymen who has nothing, no credentials but their opinion of I’m on the correct Manhaj and everyone else is wrong. Similarly there are numerous scholars who many might consider ‘wahabi/pseudo salafi’ but regardless we are just laymen. There’s a famous saying that anyone who hasn’t spent at least 10 years seeking 3lm isn’t even qualified to utter a word. My point is, you’re definitely allowed your opinion and we ask Allah for guidance always, but otherwise we should stay silent, and continue to seek knowledge and leave these Aqeedah/Fiqh matters to the 3lema
@Learning Islamically we are muslims. Allah says in the Quran call your selves Muslims. At the time of our messenger there was no such thing as Shia, qadiani etc........ but he did say there will be other sects in Islam the only one will succeed is the one who follow Quran and sunnah. This will lead you to paradise guaranteed. Remember people can make mistakes but Allah never makes mistakes. Read Quran in translation Tafsir. For you to be guided correctly you must have knowledge and never deviate from Allah guidance and the guidance from our messenger pbuh. Sahih bukahiri and sahih muslim hadith are the correct source for guidance from Mohammed pbuh. Also you can get knowledge from - green lane mosque on RUclips. My Allah guide you to success.
@Learning Islamically I follow what Allah says and if he told me to be a Muslim I am happy with that. Inshallah on the day of judgment I will not be labelled to any sect. As long as I follow what Allah and Mohammed pbuh has taught us I am happy. But to follow any person blindly you will sooner or later will make mistakes. Every question or answer I check. Alhamdulilah.
Yes we should be united but what should muslims unite upon? The same thing that differentiates the jews and the christians, our basic beliefs in Allah and his message, we should unite upon 1 shared belief and follow the Quraan upon the understanding of the Sahabah and their students and the students of the students.
And that belief is to worship Allah alone without associating partners with him SWT not even saints (and giving the PROPHET his status as a prophet/messenger and not exaggerating him SAW above that) We worship Allah alone and affirm what Allah has affirmed for himself, we were put on this earth to worship Allah and so worship is exclusive to Allah alone. This, this is tawheed.
@@Junior-yt6cx surah al ahzab: verse 37 a companion is mentioned by name, if thats what you meant. Look akhi you need to learn the status of the companions to reject them is to reject islam, quraan and sunnah go hand in hand, you have to reject the quraan if you reject hadith because they are transmitted the same exact way and preserved the same way aswell. Even if the companions weren’t mentioned in the quraan so what, the quran was taught and revealed onto them and they understood it best, if you studied how the companions lives you would understand that they understood islam best even jibraeel himself taught them their religion, and in todays day and age some muslims worship graves, worship the prophets AS & the prophet SAWs family some fall out of the category of islam by their actions and their beliefs, uniting wont help if everyone is drowning, you cant help others if you yourself are in need of help.

Salam brother, so far I understand from your talk salafiya are those who follow the Quran and Sunnah as the Salaf understood it. But it is the same definition as Muslim, what then is the difference between Salafi and Muslim. And if they are the same why do we need a different title??? please clarify
@Mozdaher Abdul Quader I don't know but it seems there are muslims who don't follow the sunnah as understood by the sahabas and the tabi3ins. They have a modern understanding of the sunnah. Yet people don't say they are kuffars. At best they are said to be astraid but still muslims. Moreover, I don't know about shia muslims but do they follow the sunna as the salafs understood it ? If not, are they not muslims though ? Some people say they are sunnis in order to be differentiated with shia muslims. Have they ever been told they should not call themselves sunnis and just say muslims ? What's the difference with saying one is a sunni or salafy instead of just saying they are muslims ? Are the qur'anyouns muslims even though they reject ahadeeths as a law source, hence rejecting the sunnah ? If so, following the Qur'an and the sunnah as understood by the salafs doesn't equal being a muslim as there are other muslims who don't fit this description. I'm just saying. By the way, I'm not a salafy. I just wanted to give my two cents.
@Mozdaher Abdul Quader I wrote this comment over a year ago and after reading it I'm not really sure what I had in mind. I don't even understand my own english 😅 It's not the first time that this happens since my english is not really good. Besides, I should have clarified not only I am not salafy but more importantly I AM NOT A MUSLIM. Therefore, I wonder how I ended up watching this video and commenting on it. That was probably one of those times that I got bored watching the same videos and wanted to change from my usual favourite topics. So to answer your question, what I think you should do if people calling themselves salafys started to do innovations is irrelevant and is none of my business since Islam is not my religion. I know I wrote the comment I wrote above but your reply came to late so I don't know anymore what I had in mind and, at the end of the day, my opinion doesn't matter at all. Good luck.
@@maxbilo6191 I dont really know how I havent noticed the comment earlier. But I am curious how come someone having this much understanding of Islam is not a Muslim.
@@mozdaherabdulquader5179 I grew up in a muslim neighborood but nobody among the young muslims was religious and they knew nothing about Islam. But in the mid 90s Islam popped up because of this group called Jama'at tabligh and many young muslims got into religion. I was a christian but for the sake of curiousity I started to gravitate around religious muslims. I got invited a few times into mosques by people from jama'at tabligh. I bought the Kuran and read a ahadith compilation from Al imam An Nawawy, Al halal wa al haram by Youssouf Qaradhawy. I thougt Islam made more sense than Chritianity. There weren't many books on islam at that time so I still didn"t know much. Then I got introduced to some muslims preachers like Tariq Ramadan who I attended one of his lectures and listened to a few tapes of his. After that I got introduced to Salafyah early 2000s and read a book written by Bilal Philips and some risalat of Muhammad Ibn Abdal Wahhab. I ordered some books online from Salafi publications bookstore in UK in order to learn more about Islam and because the weren't many books on Islam in France back then. But I never read these books due to my laziness. But at that time I use to visit a french muslim message board were I learn a bit more and I also learn some by reading some articles and fatawas on the website of Salman Al 'Awda that was called Islam Today (no idea if it exists anymore). In 2002-2003 my life was pretty miserable and I was severely depressed, so I didn't care about religious topics anymore and I started seriously doubting the existence of God. Since 2003, I never paid attention to Islam anymore and never picked up any book related to Islam. In 2007, I completely stopped believing in God and lost all intetest for religion. My positiom is I don't believe in the existence of a god because I don't have sufficient evidence to warrant such belief. If there's actually a god that wants to send me to hell because I ceased to be convince of its existence, there's nothing I can do about that as I can't fake belief to an all knowing god. From time to time I read some passages of the bible just to be able to rebuke christians when they get preachy in topics that aren't related to religion. As for muslims, they generally stick to themselves as they want people to go back to a proper understanding of Islam, so I have no reason to ever argue with them. Besides, even though I don't like Islam anymore, nor Christianity nor Judaism, I know that anything that I could say against Islam could be used by racists who (in a country like France) use Islam as an excuse to try and get rid off of arabs and blacks. These racists are mostly christians who either make false claims about Islam or the Kuran either they complain about true things that are in the Kuran. The issue is that the things they complain about are also in the bible, so that show their intellectual dishonnesty and I don't want to help them in their dishonnest path by saying anything wrong about Islam. Good luck.
Quran 22:78 ... Strive hard for Allah as is His due: He has chosen you and placed no hardship in your religion, the faith of your forefather Abraham. ALLAH HAS CALLED YOU MSLIMS--both in the past and in this [message]--so that the Messenger can bear witness about you and so that you can bear witness about other people. So keep up the prayer, give the prescribed alms, and seek refuge in Allah: He is your protector--an excellent protector and an excellent helper. Quran 41:33....and who is better than one who calls to Allah, does good deeds and says iam from the muslims. Brother, what you describe is islam and I'm a Muslim. I agree with and follow what you describe as salafiyha but it is Islam. I would never call myself other than muslim. The argument that one must call themselves salafy because there are Muslims who are practicing innovations then I say we don't change our name because of people of ignorance. Instead we should teach our brothers and guide them to the proper understanding of islam with knowledge and hikma. Just like you have Muslims who say they are sufi but don't do all that dancing and chanting and jumping around, they practice islam the same way you do but are more into zuhd and say the same thing, don't call yourself sufi, just say I'm muslim and follow the Quran and the sunna to the best of you ability. The moment you say I'm xyz other than muslim you have created a sect. Now people will say we are xyz and those other Muslims are not from among us. This causes division in the ummah. We clearly see the discord between Muslims. In conclusion, our deen is islam, we are muslims. We follow the Quran and the sunna of our Nabi (saw) and the best generations were the ones preceding the prophet.

What is the ruling on having photos? Ive heard different opinions and was curious what the ustadh thought on the subject. An example being, profile pictures, etc.
We all are muslims. Ahle sunnah wal jamaa is broader term, if someone say he is salafi it means he is among Abu bakr, Omar, Uthman, Ali or other Sahaba. The school Abu Tamiyya following is a school of Abdul Wahab in lay term they are called Wahhabis, I have no issue with any of Muslim group who is from Ahle sunnah wal jamaa but maligning other group with in Ahle Sunnah wal jamaa is ignorant or arrogant approach which harm no one else but us only. Sister ,The prophet said to follow and take example from the Salaf. The Salaf were the best 3 generations. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then, there will come people after them whose testimony precedes their oaths and their oaths precede their testimony.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6429, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2533 “Say (O Muhammad): ‘This is my way; I invite unto Allah with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me with sure knowledge. And Glorified and Exalted be Allah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the mushrikeen (polytheists… those who worship others along with Allah or set up rivals or partners to Allah).” [Yusuf 12:108] Imam Abu hanifa who was part of the Salaf himself said ““Stick to the athaar (narrations) and the way of the SALAF and beware of newly invented matters, for all of it is innovation.” [Related by as-Suyootee in Sawnul-Mantaq wal-Kalaam (p.32)] Scholars across the 4 Sunni madhabs have also stated the same and now to blind follow any Madhab. There is more evidence supporting this. Jazakallah khairan
It's like that because you maybe talk about Jihah. Most of these modernized Muslims hate the topic Jihad Stay focus I am considered Salif as well Salaam Alaikum
Do they accept or reject the ruling of school of thought? As in school of thought we are told to stick on single imam, to avoid confusion And we are also taught that all imam are correct
Not at all brother u can be hanafi maaliki shafii hanably in fiqh and a salafi in aqeedah brother salafism is sunnism because it is a must to follow it beacause would u rather follow and understand the sunnah and quran the way those who actually heard it through the prophet itself or from those ticktokers who cant even tie their shoes
So your Ulema are more right even when Abu Hanifa (rah) and Imam Ahmad(rah) had more taqwa , were closer to the Sahaba and had a million times more knowledge? You discovered the truth 1400 years later while the Ummah has followed the Sunnah since its start. If you think modern scholars can be more right than the Salaf who had more barakah, went through hardship and took much pain then my friend this is a major error. I love you for sake of Allah but really I can't aggree with you on this. I pray Allah opens our Hearts to truth.
Imam Abu hanifa himself said hold to the Salaf. He is literally included in the Salaf generation since he was a tabi’een. So how can you say “your ulema are more right than Abu Hanifa “ when he is part of the scholars salafis take from? We just don’t follow everything he says because he himself states that he is not correct about everything hence why scholars have differences of opinions. Imam Abu Hanifah (Allāh have mercy on him) said: “Stick to the narrations and the way of the Salaf, and beware of newly invented matters for all of it is innovation.” - [Sawn ul-Mantaq of as-suyuti, pg.32] “It is unlawful for any person to accept my view without knowing the source where We got it from “ Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi reported: Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, said to his student Abu Yusuf one day, “Woe to you, O Ya’qub! Do not write down everything you hear from me. Indeed, I may have an opinion today and abandon it tomorrow, or I may have an opinion tomorrow and abandon it the day after tomorrow.” Source: Tārīkh Baghdād 15/544
You’ve obviously not understood what Salafi means. It means following the three best generations. If we believes the 3 generations from the prophets times are the ones we take examples from why on earth do you think Salafi means following new scholars and dismissing the old ones ? It’s simply taking example of how to implement the Quran and Sunnah from the Salafi, the tabieen and their students. Salafiya is nothing new. Rewatch the video.
Ok so after 1400 years you found a need to explain who are Salafees ? You think choosing this name will make you among the Salafeeyun whereas you negate all the ways of the Salafs and even go against them on many rulings deviating from the Ijmah of Ummah. For you only Sheikh Bin Baaz Rehimullah, Al Bani were Salafees. And now you find a need for 22 mins to explain that you are not a Salafee by name. Why cant you be a Muslim ? And propagate Islam instead of your 125 year old sect??
Brother Abuu taymiyah jazaakallah the salaf is a good thing but some who claim that they are misbehave have a lot of ta asub bacbiting insulting cursing trying to lowdown the other scholars may Allah guide them
The humblest of Salafi brothers. However, the message seems the same. I only await to hear if he is also of the opinion that following a school of thought is a ticket to the hell fire? In a nutshell, The Imams we’re great scholars but they got things wrong. We are now here with our scholars to correct things. Our opinions and rulings are absolute we know that the past scholars made mistakes. ( although they were amongst the 3 best generations whom they claim to admire for their piety and knowledge). The past generations had a difference of opinion on many matters but they respected each others rulings as they realised that they could also be wrong. Anyways, there’s no doubt that this group considers its scholars superior to any others past and present. In the time of Imam Abu Hanifa , there would be meetings held for months in discussion of only one fiqui rulings. He was not a one man show but had many great Imams in his council. We are asked to reject a collective ruling of many of the best of our generations and accept the opinion of those who one handedly weaken discard Hadeeth in order to reach a certain ruling. May Allah help us to unite and realise what is true Bida.
Why do some Salafi not like Ali? I thought Salafi was the more conservative ones if I'm not mistaken? but I know a guy who absolutely hates Ali, why is that? All Muslims like Ali.
Salaam akhi I hope today you can realise that you are plain right wrong. even if your on the path of the blessed salaf just by you claiming this title is outright wrong and misguiding let alone anything the four imams bever claim this oyherwise they would have reported it hope that Allah guides you and us all Enough said stop this fitnah jzk
You not paying attention to what he is saying . he saying salfia is to follow prophet Muhammad pbuh and the predecessors after prophet Muhammad pbuh the way of the Sahaba the sunnah and the Quran . He is not using Salafia as a sect that he calls him self just a way to follow the best salaf of them all Prophet Muhammad pbuh ! which he just said prophet Muhammad pbuh called himself the best salaf when talking to Fatima may allah have mercy on her . It’s not a title you claim it’s the correct way to say you follow the sunnah of prophet Muhammad pbuh Salam alaikum to all Allahs Slaves
Love you for the sake of Allah. Just need to know if you also believe that your are the only saved sect and the rest of us are going into the hell fire if we believe that the rulings of the four Imams are far superior to any rulings made by modern day Imams. I feel that the Salaf movement is only trying to re invent the wheel. Yes, correct the Brailwee and other sects who call upon others as intercessors.etc However, please do not paint every Muslim with the same brush. I have heard comments that our brothers in the Tableeghee Jamaat are on bidaa. They only thing they have done is to set a routine of certain number of days to go away into a Masjid invironment and call our Muslim brothers back to Islam. They use weak hadeeth for encouraging others not Fiqui rulings. Comments heard from a renown scholar answering questions and attributing the wearing of Taweez. Etc. to them is a very ignorant comment. It only shows the lack of knowledge regarding them. I find it an arrogant stance to think that we can now have a better understanding of the Sunnah than the scholars who lived amongst the first 3 generations. We can only now use Hadeeth, written statements but they had the walking talking example of the Sunnah. Let’s try to unite. Surely the chosen sect on the Sunnah is far larger than only the Salafi movement. The labelling of a large majority of the Muslim ummah following a certain school of jurisprudence as innovators is to say the least is a far fetched one. Their understanding of the Sunnah has stood the test of time for 14 centuries. Let’s think for a while. To label and condemn the people following the 4 schools of thought to hell means that everyone of those Muslims for 14 centuries will go to hell???, including scholars following these schools.

No, we are muslims, we should not put a label on ourself. Salafi or not, if u are muslim and follow the rules of Allah eh The Prophet, then no one has the right to say you are not muslim.
Salafiya means ypu equate yourself to the medieval scholars and ignore the 4 madhabs and think with your little knowledge you can google and make jurisprudence decisions which were debated by scholars and those rulings arrived upon. It also means ypu deviate from the 1000 years of islamic tradition which is firm and true

For those people who want a clear cut answer...ISIS was a group of salafis people.
Modern Salafism is filled with extremism and ISIS is a good example of that and also modern salafism is influenced somehow by al saud family for political benefits
And the big problem with the salafism is that it is filled with sectarianism, ego, jealousy and feeling superior and looking down upon other people and scholars
Definitely fitnah, ISIS is khawarij, not salafi
May Allah guide you
🤦♂️ ISIS are khawriji, as much as they claim or what google claims they obviously do not follow the Quran and sunnah and companions and three generations onwards.
@@spartanbeast3575 I take it you are a wahabi ? Am I correct in my assumption?
This is the case with most of the philosophers (ahl al-kalam) who claim to belong to Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jama’ah…” (From the words of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah, al-Fatawa, 1/348)
Sufis: This is what was agreed upon by the Standing Committee in their answer to a question about the ruling on the Sufi tariqas that exist nowadays. They said:
“Usually those that are called Sufis nowadays follow bid’ahs (innovations) that constitute shirk, as well as other kinds of bid’ah, such as when some of them say “Madad ya sayyid (Help, O Master)”, and call upon the qutubs (“holy men”), and recite dhikr in unison using names which Allah has not called Himself, like saying “Huw, Huw (He, He)” and “Ah, Ah (a contraction of the word ‘Allah’)”. Whoever reads their books will be aware of many of their innovations that constitute shirk, and other evils.”
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
“The words al-faqr and al-tasawwuf (i.e., Sufism ) may include some things that are loved by Alaah and His Messenger, and these are things that are enjoined even if they are called faqr or tasawwuf, because the Quran and Sunnah indicate that they are mustahabb and that is not altered if they are called by other names.
He used to say: “When you are confused, seek help from the occupants of the graves.”
In his extreme exaggeration about the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he said: “The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is in control everywhere; he is the king of earth and the sovereign of mankind.”
And he said: “O Muhammad, I cannot say that you are Allah and I cannot differentiate between you and Him; your matter is for Him to judge, for He knows best what you really are.”
And he said: “Allah, may He be blessed and exalted, gave the one who brought the Qur’an, our master Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), everything that is in al-Lawh al-Mahfooz.”
And he said: “The Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is light from the Light of Allah, and all of creation comes from his light.”
Amjad ‘Ali, one of their leaders, said: “The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is a deputy of Allah with complete authority, and the entire universe is under his control. So he does whatever he wants, he gives whatever he wants to whoever he wants, he takes whatever he wants, and there is no one in the universe who can alter his rule. He is the master of humans and whoever does not make him his sovereign is deprived of the sweetness of the sunnah.”
And he said: “Those who reject seeking help from the Prophets and saints and from their graves are heretics.”
Some of their bid'ah:
1. The belief that the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) is alive

The same thing that differentiates the jews and the christians, our basic beliefs in Allah and his message, we should unite upon 1 shared belief and follow the Quraan upon the understanding of the Sahabah and their students and the students of the students.
And that belief is to worship Allah alone without associating partners with him SWT not even saints (and giving the PROPHET his status as a prophet/messenger and not exaggerating him SAW above that)

It's not the first time that this happens since my english is not really good.

I grew up in a muslim neighborood but nobody among the young muslims was religious and they knew nothing about Islam.
Did the prophet Muhammad say call yourself salafi? All I see is these names are divisive.
We're following Muhammad period.
Asalaamu alaikum my precious brother. I put myself as a purist of the 3 main categories: I feel called to be involved in politics. I need to grow some balls and do my job
What is the ruling on having photos? Ive heard different opinions and was curious what the ustadh thought on the subject. An example being, profile pictures, etc.
جزاك الله خيرًا أستاذ
I Need your prayers. In going trew hard time.
May Allah grant you shifa
We all are muslims. Ahle sunnah wal jamaa is broader term, if someone say he is salafi it means he is among Abu bakr, Omar, Uthman, Ali or other Sahaba. The school Abu Tamiyya following is a school of Abdul Wahab in lay term they are called Wahhabis, I have no issue with any of Muslim group who is from Ahle sunnah wal jamaa but maligning other group with in Ahle Sunnah wal jamaa is ignorant or arrogant approach which harm no one else but us only. So stay intact & accept the differences in interpretation every group is having daleel every group is following Wirsn & Sunnah.
Please For sake of Allah keep United, don't talk I'll about small differences in opinion.
My way is the high way kaaboom💥
I hear you brother but the brother's I've met that call themselves salafi are very harsh and quite rude.
Thats not how a salafi should be
They are not Salafi brother they only use this word and exploited it,
Brother and sister I am salaf I don't belong to any particular sect of islam and salaf is a Sunni and sunni is muslim yes but sh muhammad saleh ibn uthaymeen said the difference between th hizb of salfies and salaf salfies branch or sect but salaf is well know to be Sahabas and the students t etc just call yourself to the understanding of the salaf not salfies the understanding of ours la la la.
☪️ALHAMDULILLAAH!🕋
The prophet never said that we have to be salafi to be like the sahaba 8:44
Sister ,The prophet said to follow and take example from the Salaf. The Salaf were the best 3 generations.
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then, there will come people after them whose testimony precedes their oaths and their oaths precede their testimony.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6429, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2533
“Say (O Muhammad): ‘This is my way; I invite unto Allah with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me with sure knowledge. And Glorified and Exalted be Allah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the mushrikeen (polytheists… those who worship others along with Allah or set up rivals or partners to Allah).” [Yusuf 12:108]
Imam Abu hanifa who was part of the Salaf himself said ““Stick to the athaar (narrations) and the way of the SALAF and beware of newly invented matters, for all of it is innovation.”
[Related by as-Suyootee in Sawnul-Mantaq wal-Kalaam (p.32)]
Scholars across the 4 Sunni madhabs have also stated the same and now to blind follow any Madhab.
There is more evidence supporting this. Jazakallah khairan
In Arabic they add the ya to describe a person, Hind (India) Hindi (Indian) Yemen Yemeni, So Salaf becomes Salafi, Salaf uh Salah pious predecessors.
i got called khawarji when i said i try to follow the salaf
It's like that because you maybe talk about Jihah.
Most of these modernized Muslims hate the topic Jihad
Stay focus
I am considered Salif as well
Salaam Alaikum
Know the minhaj (Islam Iman and Ihsan) of the Salaf. So that you may know the Sunnah
Do they accept or reject the ruling of school of thought?
As in school of thought we are told to stick on single imam, to avoid confusion
And we are also taught that all imam are correct
Not at all brother u can be hanafi maaliki shafii hanably in fiqh and a salafi in aqeedah brother salafism is sunnism because it is a must to follow it beacause would u rather follow and understand the sunnah and quran the way those who actually heard it through the prophet itself or from those ticktokers who cant even tie their shoes
@@Zakkariyai fiqhs and salafi are both same thing or a salafi is also a fiqh
I want to know about it in detail is there any way to talk to you?
Salafi, wahabi, deobandi, Shia, barelvi, all these names! In surat AlHajj, Allah calls us Muslims plain and simple!
Abu taymiyyah we miss you
Manshallah
So your Ulema are more right even when Abu Hanifa (rah) and Imam Ahmad(rah) had more taqwa , were closer to the Sahaba and had a million times more knowledge?
You discovered the truth 1400 years later while the Ummah has followed the Sunnah since its start.
If you think modern scholars can be more right than the Salaf who had more barakah, went through hardship and took much pain then my friend this is a major error.
I love you for sake of Allah but really I can't aggree with you on this. I pray Allah opens our Hearts to truth.
are you saying deobandis are kafir
Zohaib Akhtar hhhhh brother imam Hanifah was a salafi
Mohammad Akhtar stop trying to divide the scholars may Allah give you guidance. What’s wrong with you uff.
Imam Abu Hanifah (Allāh have mercy on him) said:
“Stick to the narrations and the way of the Salaf, and beware of newly invented matters for all of it is innovation.”
- [Sawn ul-Mantaq of as-suyuti, pg.32]
“It is unlawful for any person to accept my view without knowing the source where We got it from “
Al-Khatib al-Baghdadi reported: Abu Hanifa, may Allah have mercy on him, said to his student Abu Yusuf one day, “Woe to you, O Ya’qub! Do not write down everything you hear from me. Indeed, I may have an opinion today and abandon it tomorrow, or I may have an opinion tomorrow and abandon it the day after tomorrow.”

Shush wasteman
Salafi , just like sunni is not a sect Ya Jahil
Brother Abuu taymiyah jazaakallah the salaf is a good thing but some who claim that they are misbehave have a lot of ta asub bacbiting insulting cursing trying to lowdown the other scholars may Allah guide them
حفظكم الله تعالى
جزاك الله خيرا
We are just Muslims nothing else just Muslim don't make the fiqa please as ALLAH says in the Qur'an 33 or 34 times call yourself Muslim
What verse of the Quran is he talking about at 4:55?
A EH jazakallah
Surah Al Tawba, Surah 9 Verse 100.

And why don’t you just say that u are a Muslim why divide the Muslims
Shias say they are muslims qadianis say they're Muslims don't they
Why do some Salafi not like Ali? I thought Salafi was the more conservative ones if I'm not mistaken? but I know a guy who absolutely hates Ali, why is that? All Muslims like Ali.
the name salafiya is inovation
Salaam akhi I hope today you can realise that you are plain right wrong. even if your on the path of the blessed salaf just by you claiming this title is outright wrong and misguiding let alone anything the four imams bever claim this oyherwise they would have reported it hope that Allah guides you and us all
Enough said stop this fitnah jzk
Apparently u still dont understand. It's simple. Stop making it hard.

Is that why you pray such a careless manner ustadh Abu Taymiyyah?
you are from khalaf generation. syaikh muhammad bin abdul wahab is from khalaf generation. not salaf

Brother even shias call themselves muslim even ahlus sunnah sects like barelvi deobandi and so on claim to be muslim while doing grave worshipping and so no.. and sects are indeed something that is bound to he made, Prophet Muhammad SAW said there will be 73 sects in islam, 72 will be in hell and one will

Prophet Muhammad SAW said: those you follow my sunnah and sunnah if the Sahaba.
