Added points on the HEB's in the area. The HEB is Lincoln Heights was an Alberton's years ago. I haven't been there recently due the construction. I'm would like to see what the what is like when completed. Perhaps and HEB plus? The HEB in Oak Park was an Handy Andy back in the 1970's and early 1980's. I worked there as a package boy when I was teenager. The Central Market has an amazing selection. I was there last week. Where else can you get Chantelle and Oyster Mushroom? Limited parking and outrageous prices, Fun fact Central Market is probably one of the leading tourist attraction in the San Antonio area.
The Lincoln Heights HEB is my absolute favorite. Although I do pop in to the Oak Park HEB when I don’t want to deal with too many people. It has a small town feel. I like Central Market, but only because it has a great variety of items…like you pointed out. But for every day shopping…not for me.

Thank you for the info. I’ve lived in Austin off 53 years of my life, but I’m looking to build a second home in San Antonio because I love the city so much. Me and the mother of my kids like to go to the Riverwalk every other weekend. we pay like $700 a night to stay at a hotel. So now I’m thinking we should just buy some land and build a house there. And for whatever reason I wanted to live in Alamo Heights. Maybe because it had the Alamo in it. but I want to build like a 10,000 square-foot Brady Bunch house. Where it looks like something from the 70s. Hopefully the neighborhood will allow it , otherwise I have to look somewhere else.
Not a problem, I truly enjoy doing these videos. It’s exciting that you want to have a second home here in San Antonio. I’d love to jump on a Zoom call with you and discuss your plans. There are some lots in Alamo Heights and neighboring Terrell Hills where you can definitely build what you are describing. Give me a call and let’s discuss. 🙏🏼

This is great information. I currently live in Dallas, but I’m drawn to San Antonio. More hometown feel instead of big city

Another solid video, I'm not even looking to move anytime soon, but this makes me want to!
