I just logged in after a long break (little more than 6 months) and was greeted by a message that my mail account had been shut down due to inactivity. How Nice! My STEAM account is now Blocked too.

Does it store meta data from emails (date and time, ip address ...)? These are very valuable data and certain profiles can be created! If I want I can encrypt an archive and I have solved the problem ...

please who is better between ccleaner and iobit advanced systemcare for cleaning cookies and registers?

    • @cybernews
      @cybernews  3 года назад +1

Advanced SystemCare can remove temporary files, fix registry settings, increase your privacy, and many more in a single click. The fun part is everything is automated. CCleaner is an old player in the PC optimization industry. It can get rid of multiple elements causing slower performance like residual files in browsers, unused applications, and more like that. It comes as free software and also has two paid plans. However, the free version does not support many features.

They have their "how-to" section on their website, you can check it. But also there are some :
When you select an email, these options show up to its top.
The top email menu has the following options:
Arrow left = reply - Shortcut: Press R.
      Double arrow left = reply all - Shortcut: Press ⇧ + R.
      Arrow right = forward
Folders symbol = Move this email to a folder. When you click this symbol, a folder list opens where you can choose a folder to move the email to. You can also move a mail with drag & drop in the browser.
Delete symbol = The email is moved to Trash.
Three dot symbol = You can mark the email unread or export it.
If you want to print an email as pdf, you can use the browser function for printing.

What about disroot? What do you think of this provider?

I can't say I have tried it out. I'll look into it in the future, thanks for the idea. :)

@@cybernews From what I've gathered the worst part is that the contacts & calendar (& the many other) features are not encrypted - but the email client itself is. Which is part of why I bring it up... I'd like a more reputable & reliable source to look into it - I'll keep an eye out for your input! Thanks!

Been using ProtonMail, I’d like a less drab, better designed interface.

Questions: 1) Can I email users who do not have a Tutunota a/c?
    2) Can users without a Tutunota a/c send emails to me?
I am considering signing up for a premium Tutunota a/c
