As soon as Chaudhary smells them and says "Hoya, hoya, hoya." I know he's in for a treat. With all the bad things going on in the world these humble men bring me such joy. God bless them and their families. ✌
Mr Tahir has me ⚰️ with laughter. “Here we feed bitter almonds to nonsense people” the fact I know he means no harm makes it hilarious. Such different cultures but we can still have each other rolling on the floor laughing. That’s amazing. Praise to God. Keep it going folks 👌🏾
One thing that may be useful to the guys-- they are always impressed by the packaging of foreign foods. Yes, the packaging is often very attractive, but it comes at a considerable cost. The cost of the packaging is often ten to 100 percent of the cost of the contents! For instance the color wrappers on bottled juices often cost much more than the cost of the juice. So in less wealthy countries the packaging is going to be more basic. It's kinda foolish to end up paying more for the packaging that you're going to throw away than for the contents.
George: We recycle plastic here which is fine.. Youtold all the dire things happening with plastic in ocean. Then you look at so many items packaged in plastics, The plastic is 50 times the volume of the product, just burns me!
You didn't even tell them the flavor of the 2nd package of almonds. Yes, it's roasted and salted, but that's not the flavor. They are Truffle Marcona flavor. They are flavored with truffles (an underground fungus - similar to mushroom, but way better). I'm sure they would have liked to know that they were made with a fungus. It would have been an interesting point for them, I'm sure. Please do some research on the products before serving them - or at least read the label first. God forbid that one of them has a fungus allergy...
I just came to say that but you beat me to it. Those truffle almonds from TJ's are so good. They might have really enjoyed the rosemary marcona almonds as well, and it would probably be a bit more palatable to them than the truffle.
Almonds are one of the healthiest things they can try! Blue Diamond smoked almonds are the best. If you can get them. Or the honey roasted! They also have chocolate, which I'm sure Chaudhary would love. :)
@kENNy k9 There's a video on their second channel called Tribal People Try Japanese Snacks (or something to that effect) and they served them those crunchy Wasabi Peas! If I remember correctly, once they recovered from the initial shock from the "heat", they all seemed to like them quite a bit. Even Mr. Chaudhary!!
The second bag of almonds were Marcona Almonds seasoned with truffle and that may have been a little off putting. Truffle is a fungus (mushroom) that has a unique essence and is used sparingly in dishes such like saffron would be.
I always ate the "Jordan Almonds",almonds in hard icing, when we had a mixed candy box on holidays. My mother and I were the only ones that really liked them and the dark chocolate so we got all those.lol
After the filming of this episode, I am seeing a second passage of the caramel coffee almonds, if only to clear the taste of the savoury ones. Should have served them the other way round, perhaps first some plain roasted and salted almonds.
Great idea - they would probably get a lot of use out of them if they are still cracking their own nuts (which it sounds like they are during certain times) they definitely need some.…
Greetings! I thought this might be the result, when the sweet almonds were given first, and then the salty after that. I agree with Mr. Rana that the sweet one should’ve been given last. It was interesting that two of our gentlemen noted a taste of garlic, and they didn’t like that. I’m glad you all at least enjoyed the sweet version. Thank you for making me smile. God bless you.
Flavored almonds are one of those foods it is WAY too easy to overeat. For me, anyway. If someone could send them some marcona almonds, I think they'd enjoy those. They don't need any flavoring to be super delicious.
@@pacmanc8103 Ah ok the truffle flavor probably overpowered everything, but the texture of those was probably the best part. I've found marconas best with just salt and maybe only a tiny bit of herbs, nothing too strong.
First serve the salty almonds before you serve the sweet. That way, the element of surprise won't be of disappointment.lol And we have too many nonsensical people in my country too! I wonder if bitter almonds is the culprit?...🤔😂 Peace and blessings!🙏🏻💜
@New Average People should just enjoy stuff while they can honestly. Because once you get food allergies and GERD you can barely eat anything. I’m grateful to myself for enjoying food life while I could!
I'm always interested in their response to the packaging. I'd love to go thru a market over there and see how they sell food. I saw a couple of videos about stores in Pakistan. They looked like stores anywhere else, the food was packaged, so I guess in the villages it's different.
You need to start explaining the whole name in their language so they know what it is they are eating. Caramel and chocolate are two different flavors.

Exactly, Rana! You try salty first, then you try sweet. 😁 I would love to see them try lemon cake with lots of lemon frosting. 😁🍋 🍰

Truffle flavouring is very unique, but if the oil goes rancid it can taste the way turpentine smells.
Salty roasted almonds with spices! 😍

Great video. They always rave about the packaging. To me it equates to more plastic!
The packaging is for convenience and for hygienic purposes to stop people from handling the almonds perhaps with dirty hands.
