For those who didn’t know. Sal, Q, and Joe made an identical blanket and burned it. What Joe didn’t tell Sal and Q, was that he had a second fake blanket made and burned that one. The real blanket was never burned.

I think it's because they *do* have limits, even if it doesn't seem like it. Murr later said on twitter and the inside jokes that both of those blankets were fake. Joe doesn't drink alcohol yet they've never had a punishment making him do that, and when they punished Q and Sal in that chamber thing they could have done a LOT worse (the spiders and cats punishments).

It is tv. If they didn't do these kinds of things, the show would be cancelled very quickly, as it would become too boring and repetitious, and fans will stop watching.
People wouldn't find the show, because those former fans wouldn't want to recommend it to anyone, and it would be an unfortunate turn of events.
Would be Joe's own fault then. He should have stopped with the first blanket and had a good chuckle when he revealed it was fake. But noooooooo.....and don't even get me started on the gross thing he did to the bread!

I was boiling up when I thought that was his real blankie getting tossed in the fire, but then kinda relieved when Joe said "it wasn't your blankie", and then when he tossed that too I was mad again..then half angrily and half confused I came down to the comments section to really check out what'd happened to Murr's blankie, turns out it's safe, I'm glad:)
NO matter what the blankie looks like (looks that it had been rescued on time from the shredder), it's loved and will be loved forever.

I know neither one was his real blanket, but I know how that feels! When my mom took mine to wash it for the last time she said all the strings came out and it was ruined. I was actually really upset for a while. That blanket was mine for over 18 years. It had seen so many sleepovers and visits to the washing machine and four trips to the hospital. That’s when I found a newer version of my original blanket online. It’s not the same, but it has the same texture and design on it as my original one. Over time, my original blanket will return to me!
I feel like Murr actually is starting to hate the other jokers and feels depressed for always going too far with his punishments but he stays on because it’s his job.
