  • Beautiful scenes over some of the key pools of the Tulchan B Beat on the River Spey in Scotland. Springer action with fish landed and a terrific leap of freedom of some 4-5 meters as a Springer leaps and flips and clearly "spits" the fly in mid air. We all know that feeling of utter disbelief and despair when a Salmon manages to dis-engage a seemingly solidly set hook. Well this one certainly beggars belief, so to say.

Hi Martin, its a Scott MacKenzie 9/10 floating shooting head. I'm using Varivas running line with it. Since I bought it the company has changed the line colour to orange though - apparently Red isn't very fashionable in the fly fishing world :)

+Paul Pritchard you must do more filming than fishing 😊👍

I'm getting quite efficient at not wasting too much time filming - getting the right footage quickly is key to not spoiling my day :)
