    So glad to see you demonstrating Gunshy Archery's quiver. I have been using one for two years on my Bear Kodiak Hunter bow. It quieted my bow immediately. Of coarse I added Velcro and wool silencers.

    Jeff, I bought a Gunshy quiver 2 years ago and love it. I know you are not a fan of .204 diameter arrows, but what I like about the Gunshy quiver is that it accepts .204 and thicker arrows without having to change your arrow holders.

    Luv my Gunshy!!!!! I'm new to trad bows this yr and I hemmed and hawed for 6 months before I settled on a quiver and I talked with Tarl and we got one ordered. I like it to because it adds some mass weight which for me was one of the struggles I was having with the super light bows. Great review!!!!!!

    I have a Gunshy on my 54” Pika and a stop the drop arrow holder and love the setup. The ability to move the quiver how you want it to sit on the bow is awesome.

    I shoot this quiver on my stalker coyote FXT. Took a doe at 17 yds this year first trad kill. First shot at an animal. The Gunshy quiver is very stout. The arrow gripper for 5MM shafts is perfect. The only thing that might be a problem for you is they are a little heavy. The slide on Selway was light but the constant quiver and arrow walking was the bane of my life existence. I really like my set up. Ohh it also takes a while to get one. You ain’t ordering one now and get it for Christmas. Maybe Easter, but worth the wait. plus Tarl is good guy and provides us with RUclips content.

    Jeff I watch your videos all the time. Thank you! I have a shirt load of land around me and I can’t use it to practice shooting my bow. People are so selfish around here,I just don’t know what to do.

    Should do a budget beginner bow shootout of all the budget bows you’ve reviewed over the past few years. Maybe a Top 5 and what you like and don’t like about each or why you would buy one over the other. I’m looking for my first recurve and definitely like the budget route.
    Is there a video showing the setup and putting the Velcro material below the limb pockets to silence it?

    Great quiver. I made a quiver for my Osage self bow with a similar design to creek walker trading quiver. Both gunshy and creekwalker have that good design for short risers. The adjustability of the gunshy is very nice. The creek walker quiver is a bit more natural looking for the more primitive crowd. We are so spoiled with amazing options today for equipment.

    Hi Jeff, love your videos! You have done more to simplify the arrow build/tune process than anybody i have seen to date. I have a question about my current arrow build. Try and keep it short. 45 lb Oberon longbow, drawing 25 1/2". Approx draw weight +- 39 lbs. I have built 500 spine goldtip warriors with 230 grains up front. Total arrow weight with regular nocks 460 grains. Shoot great! Chronograph reveals 147 fps. In your opinion, is this arrow speed sufficient for hunting? I don't plan any shots longer than 20 yds. Thanks. BTW, I have a Royal X8 50 lb. that gives me 10 more fps, but I can't make it quiet and I have everything that you teach to make it quiet.

    I've got that bug you speak of, moving back into a trad bow after decades of compound shooting and recently crossbow. Curious about your draw process, where you start your draw, and about halfway back you pause before coming to full draw/release. What's your reason for that?

  • @greeneyesfromohio4103
    @greeneyesfromohio4103 Месяц назад +1

    Jeff, quick question….if I have a 100 grain insert with a 200 grain broadhead that equals 300 grains….but what if I switched the combination and had a 200 grain insert with a 100 grain broadhead? Both equal 300 grains it’s just in a different combination. Does this matter? Will the different combination mess with my arrow tuning or no? Thanks brother for all you do for the traditional community!

      @@greeneyesfromohio4103 not much difference only thing is that the longer the insert is the stiffer it makes the arrow since it running down the inside of the shaft but not much difference at all 👍🏻
